Hard to beat Yard House during their Happy Hour. Our server, Breanna was fantastic. Polite, friendly, and timely service. Everything came out fresh and tasted delicious. It was a great place to watch the US win it's World Cup match against Australia. The level of excitement in the restaurant made for a fun afternoon.

My server was amazing, very friendly, and provided quick service. After a long night, this pizza was delicious! It came out hot and fresh with plenty of toppings.

This place has such a cool vibe to it. With a classy feel and a laid back bar setting to go with it you can come for any occasion. The service has been great every time I've gone plus the servers and bartenders are very knowledgeable when it comes to the menu. So far I've had the chicken nachos, chicken tenders, sliders, and the taco flight with Vampire Carnitas, Birria, and Crispy Korean Chicken tacos. Everything is absolutely delicious! The nachos are massive and origami easily enough for 2-3 people. The sliders were one of my favorite. I was addicted like crack! And out of the tacos the Korean Chicken Taco and the Vampire Carnitas were my favorite. The Oreo Brookie was ok but too soft. It needed the crispiness from the oreos or the brownie to stand out more. Otherwise everything was perfect! Definitely check them out for the happy hour specials and you won't be disappointed.

Visited with friends the evening of The Brandy and Monica concert! We got there at 4:45p and didn't have a wait. Our server was friendly and helpful! Everyone enjoyed their food and drinks. Miguel's Queso Dip was really good! It had flavor and wasn't basic. Definitely 9/10. I really enjoyed the Szechuan Crispy Beef Noodles. You get a lot for what you pay for. Easily 2-3 servings. The Espresso Martini was on point! Nice atmosphere for both girl's, family and date night. I've been to Yard House before and the food and service was good then. Will come back for sure.

My friends and I needed a quick pre-show dinner near the Midland theater and Yard House totally came through! Spicy edamame: The perfect girls' dinner starter. Just the right kick. Spicy tuna stack: Super fresh. I ended up deconstructing it just to get to that amazing tuna. Fried calamari: Crispy, saucy, and gone in minutes. Espresso martini: Shockingly good (and well-priced for P&L). I had two. No regrets. The vibe was energetic with lots of folks out for a concert or comedy show, lights were low, and definitely felt a notch above your usual Yard House. Prices were so reasonable for the P&L district, and service was fast even without a reservation on a Saturday night. Final verdict: 10/10 Yard House saved the night with great food, drinks, and convenience. Perfect spot before a show or event in P&L!

Went here for New Years Eve and it was busy but not too busy, we got seated for a group of 4 right away though! Can't go wrong with sweet potato fries, which came w some maple syrup - not a fan of the two together imo. We also got the lobster garlic noodles, which was good and enough for 2 people if you didn't come too hungry!

I tried to sneak in and have a quick meal while in town for my bestie's wedding and surprise surprise they joined me! The food was delicious, service amazingly pleasant and the place was clean. Definitely made my first night in KC enjoyable and we got to catch up over some nice drinks. I always enjoy the salmon with broccolini and this location's was so tasty.

What is a quick bite of food after a show with the Midland. The ambience was very busy but good and clean. The wait was only 15 minutes. The order consisted of a truffle burger with Parm fries, fontina, vodka noodle, steak salad, lobster, pasta, with wings. The waiter was sitting and brought an extra drink didn't bring other items that were needed, but we gave Grace. They were really busy. Can't wait to go again. The food was awesome. The bill was 147.

Yardhouse menu is extensive and has something to offer for everyone one. The Servers are always friendly and knowledgeable. The dining room is large and accommodating. There's Tvs everywhere and many beers on taps. I don't need anything else when I come here.

Parmesan Truffle Fries were yummy dipped in some garlic aioli sauce!

Traveling back from a college visit and looking for a quick stop on a Saturday night and only a 15 minute wait. They have a lot of seating! Staff was quick and attentive and love the option to order from your table as well if you choose. Pretty much everything was amazing including appetizers and main courses.

Everything was great. We stumbled in on a Monday afternoon around 2:30, about 30 minutes early for happy hour, sadly we were hungry and ordered anyway, but if you can I would recommend waiting cause their happy hour prices are great! The cheese curds were the best thing we had, I didn't care for the sauces though but I know my husband liked them both! He got the you pick 3 taco flight. I got the club - which was great, very large and tall, I had to take some of the food off to be able to fit it in my mouth. My sweet potato fries were eh, I wouldn't get them again for the up charge. Nice large restaurant, clean, and service was great, great location! Make reservations if you can especially on the nights and weekend!

Finally was able to get in to the elusive Yard House. Feel every time we try to get in when we visit from out of time they are out of tables or line is insanely long. They had a great variety of beers for anyone's liking. The Truffle Cheese burger was so juicy that is was somewhat messy but I like sauce with my food. The main item that sold me was the cheese curds. They are like clouds of cheese in a basket. The breading was incredible, the cheese was tasty. They include hot honey with it that just takes it to the top. The service we had was great as well. The inside of Yardhouse is a futuristic sports bar vibe that I would love to go back to, if I can get in!

We encountered a lovely bartender by the name of Jennifer, who was super kind and helped us do a little tasting of some different spirits we were interested in. We were part of the Educational Testing Service AP Readers who have come to K.C. for the last 3 years. We came to the Drum Room Lounge for drinks after a a hard day. We were drawn to it v because of its history. It turned out to be a terrible experience. Your bartender there, was terribly rude and unprofessional. When our people arrived it took her 20 minutes to come to get our orders, eventhough there was no one in the bar but us. She took our order and then it took her 30 more minutes for het to bring over 4 of the 6 drinks ordered. One of our party commented to the person sitting next to her that this bartender was very slow. Apparently she heard this and as the person was tasting her drink, your bartender took it away from her. I tried to get my drink and I was ignored. I tried 3 time s to get ky drink and was not served. Then when we decided we weren't going to be served and one of our group heard your bartender say good luck them being served she refused to give the person paying for the drinks a receipt. This behavior was unprofessional at best and it ruined a night thah could have been great.

I had never even heard of Besos y Abrazos but saw that it was very close by and an easy streetcar ride away to Power and Light so, I thought why not? And boy am I glad I took a leap of faith. I was the first person in the restaurant a little past 11am and I came hungry and left very happy. The first thing I had to do was order a before noon cocktail because why not? I have free will. I was torn between the refreshing sangria and the bold booze forward old fashioned so, I went with the old fashioned because if you're going to do it- do it big! The old fashioned here is smoked and made with tequila not whiskey so, it had a different flavor profile. I enjoyed it but I think it would have been even better made with mezcal to further pull out the smoky notes but, I would order it again. Then came my first course, whenever I see shishito peppers on a menu I'm a simple girl I order them. These were delicious, the tangy tajin was plentiful and took them up a notch. These are tied with my favorite shishito peppers I've ever had (the other being at Blue Sushi right across the street). I can't wait to come back and snack on these. Once again, I was happily surprised when I spied octopus in the main entree section because, this is one of my go to proteins to order. If it's not done right it's dismal. This was done flawlessly. The octopus was tender and could be cut with ease, it wasn't rubbery at all and tasted fresh. The polenta added a creamy element and the entire dish was colorful and well composed. I would consider it a must order if you're an adventurous eater. Dessert was also tasty especially since it was dairy free...dairy does tend to upset my tummy so, I gladly gobbled this up. The presentation was class and fun, a parfait in a large cocktail glass- I love! These textures all worked wonderfully together and each bite had something smooth and crunchy and nutty. All in all this meal was a 10/10 I can't wait to go back with my mom and try their brunch because I think she would love the colorful Spanish vibes of this restaurant. What a great addition to Power and Light District Kisses Indeed Mwah!

When we arrived, the hostess was not very friendly and seemed like she did not want to be there. She seated us, and we waited for service while another table that was seated after us had their drink order taken right away by a different waitress. That waitress walked by us without acknowledging us at all, so I asked the hostess if there was only one waitress working because I wanted to make sure we were not being overlooked. The hostess said she was both seating and waitressing, then walked off. She later brought us waters but did not take our drink order or check in with us. After continuing to wait, we decided to leave and went next door instead, where we had a much better experience. It was a really disappointing Mother's Day outing, especially because we had been looking forward to trying this restaurant. Unfortunately, the lack of friendliness, communication, and service made us feel ignored and unwelcome. I do not recommend this restaurant, and we will not be going back.

No, this is more of a sit-yourself-down kind of place, instead of being a make-your-way-to-the-bar-for-yet-another-drink kind of place. But they serve up some Joe's Kansas City BBQ, so you know they've got a reason to pull you in. Nothing says Kansas City quite like smoked meats & fabulous sauces, so get comfy & sample a Z-Man. There is plenty else on the menu, but if you're vegan or vegan-ish, then good luck or maybe have a cheat day. The BBQ is fantastic and Ice House has added their own bar & grille twists, so you have options beyond smoked meats. Seating is pretty good, and with both a wraparound bar and table service, there are plenty of options. As is the norm these days, there are screens in all directions, so you just don't miss a single moment of sportsball if that's your jam. P&L is a jammed up place when events are happening, so if you can find yourself a spot to sit and enjoy, then that's a win. County Road offers that and more, and it's only real knock is the service levels, which can be slow at busy times. But hey, if you have a seat and maybe a drink, then wait just a few extra minutes for servers to plow their way through the bar crowd. Definitely worth it for the BBQ alone.

It's was big and came with fries and a pickle spear. The flavor was good and the portions was a little too much for me but I powered through and conquered that beast. The menu has some really good choices I would recommend trying a couple items to get a better feel of the overall menu choices. Staff: It was late maybe an 1hr before closing time and about 20 of is walked in together. Yup! We were totally those people. Sorry guys, but the staff welcomed it and seated us immediately by placing tables together it was great. Orders were placed and everyone got what they ordered so cheers to the staff on that one. The staff was talkative and thanked us on our way out for stopping by to eat. Great team at this establishment. Atmosphere: It was quiet and I think we were tue only ones in the restaurant but again it was late and last minute. The space definitely looks like sporting events and other televised events could be a really great place to hang out. I don't really know so it may be worth checking it out for yourself. Price: My BBQ pulled Pork Sandwich was about $17 and in my opinion that's really good especially considering the portion size of the sandwich and sides. Location: It's located in Kansas City Mousori in the gas light district.
