My first experience with GoPuff was legendary, I placed order through app and by the time I stood up, walked to my door outside and smoked less than half my cigarette before GoPuff arrived for delivery (NOTE: unbeknown to me they are located at top of my little side street). Quick and Correct - All 17 items were correct. My first order went so well that I may have set unreal expectations. I've ordered their service 3 times so far and overall I'm very happy and will most likely continue to use........but let me put that in context, I say most likely b/c some of their items have great prices (when on sale) making it well worth the $2 Delivery Charge Plus Tip (I'll get into that shortly), typically it looks like this is the vaporizers/grinders/lighters/etc you get the idea (although this could be more of competitors have ridiculously high prices than GoPuff itself but regardless still very cool Of them not to gouge customers like all others), otherwise their prices are typical maybe a little better than normal plus you have the ease of delivery until 4:20AM (seems ideal for someone in college or a recent grad). The only issue for me was one experience when the driver came with no change (in an attempt to receive a larger tip???), 2 incorrect products (both were the right thing just the wrong flavor), one of which I was notified of and given the option to not take (before I even noticed which is great!) and another that was just incorrect but I did order 23 items so by no means the end of the world. I guess this is part of a larger issue where GoPuff itself charges $1.95 for Delivery & they provide a spot for Tip when ordering (great for CC payers), nice and simple!!!.....the issue I have is feeling as though the deliver drivers were looking for an additional tip or they were unaware of tips provided when paid OR maybe this is just me??? read more

I tried GoPuff again after not a very good test drive. It is still awful. The delivery man (different guy) refused AGAIN to come inside my apartment to deliver my stuff. It was freezing cold and he didn't even agree to meet in the library. When I met him, he basically threw the food at me. Too bad it was all wrong. There are no excuses anymore. Probably my favorite ordering place in town. GoPuff and goBrands is a great way to get on demand delivery around Boston, and their $2+ delivery rate is ideal. The food that is available to order is great, and the app is very user friendly. They are also always throwing in free drinks or food with your order, which makes ordering more fun. But there are some problems with GoPuff and goBrands, their prices are not the best on the market, and sometimes you are better off ordering Postmates or going to a nearby corner store. Their drivers are not always fast and speedy, and most of the time are very slow at getting to your home or area you are ordering at, which makes a big problem when you are ordering to eat or snack. GoPuff also has a really bad on demand order price, $14 on top of the $2+ delivery fee and more fees sometimes makes a $6 order at a corner store $19, which is a major problem. GoPuff is superior when ordering snacks or the occasional household need, but I would never depend on them when you are in a hurry needing a snack, I have waited over 2 hours outside before, but I have also waited 30 mins warm under my covers, so you can either have a great experience or a terrible experience. If I could give GoPuff and goBrands Boston a 2.5 I would, but for now they slide off with 3 stars read more

I love the idea, and they recently improved their website design which is a good sign. The late night delivery fills a niche that I very much occupy, so I applaud their efforts and if anything want them to grow and increase their menu, especially of munchies! So because of their idea, and the online side of their implementation, I'll give them 2 stars. But there's a hell of a rant coming up. Because as it stands, I feel like Boston is a neglected region for them. I keep stubbornly trying to give them my business, week after week, and each time it's a gamble if I'll actually get my order. One time they just weren't open for some reason, though the order was accepted online. Another time the driver was THREE hours late past his estimated delivery time, at like 4 in the morning when I had fallen asleep. One time when the order never showed up I was charged anyway, and had to wait two days to get a response from GoPuff about getting my money back. I mean, first they offered to send me my order two days late but throw in some free shit as an apology, and I said sure why not... but then that delivery never showed up either... I just placed an order at 1:35pm. The confirmation email displayed a null error where the predicted delivery time was supposed to be, but past emails have timed the delivery to my address at 30 to 45 minutes. I got the order at 3:30. But you know what? I'm just happy I didn't have to go to the store. read more

I'd give zero stars if I could. I've been using goPuff since it was first introduced to the area about 4-5 years ago. Things have gone outrageously down hill since then. The whole concept of goPuff was to be able to get smoking supplies (think papers, grinders, hookah supplies) and snacks delivered within 30 minutes. They no longer sell anything smoking related, besides a lighter. And unless you want to wait 9-10 hours for a delivery that will never come no matter how early you order, it's not worth the time or energy. The last 3 times I ordered, I never received my items and never got a refund. I will be deleting the app and telling people I know to do the same. read more

My first experience with goPuff was good. After tonight, I don't think I'll ever use them again. The website scrambles the delivery address, so instead of reading "123 Main St, Apt, 45," it will say "45, Main St." The driver called me several times because he was confused as to where I lived (thanks, website). By the time he figures it out and I get my delivery, the ice cream is MELTED and the milk isn't cold, or the brand I ordered. Between it taking over an hour and getting damaged/incorrect items, I'm not using goPuff ever again. Not worth the wait, the overpricing, the frustration, or the $3.95 delivery fee. Who would buy melted ice cream, seriously. __________________________________ UPDATE (3/24/2016) GoPuff reached out, apologized for the error, credited my account for the items, and was generally wonderful in its customer service. Got a Groupon to try this out. They said they delivered to my location, but got a call soon after I placed my order that, indeed, they don't. They do part of my zip code, but not all of it. So they cancelled my order, told me I'd see my refund in 3-5 business days. A week later, nothing. I contact them again, and upon further research, they found that they had indeed cancelled my order, but actually failed to initiate the refund? Seriously? So I finally got that worked out. So, thus far they've proven themselves completely inept. They say they deliver in Boston...but they don't do a large chunk of the city (particularly the areas that don't have direct subway lines). I just placed my first order today and was very happy with their options. I got my order within 30 minutes as promised. After i had eaten my food i noticed they delivered the wrong ice cream flavor. I called and it was very easy to get them to send someone out to change the flavor. This time it took an hour. The guy left and i went inside. HE GAVE US THE SAME ICE CREAM (the wrong flavor). In comparison to other convienience store delivery services, the only bonus to them is that they are open later and are friendly....however,delivery time is terrible. They are about six minutes away and always take almost an hour and a half to two hours to deliver. Its not like they are waiting for food to be cooked/prepared, so I'm not sure why it takes so long. They also have fewer menu options in comparison to other places. Just beware that the "30 minute delivery" statement doesn't really apply to Boston. I was told by a worker on the phone after waiting an hour and a half without it even going out for delivery that Boston only has two drivers and one manager so it's not actually guaranteed to be there in 30 minutes, even though that's how it's advertised everywhere. They shouldn't advertise as being 30 minutes somewhere they know that can't be fulfilled due to staffing. read more

Omg I was forced to switch to this company once my favored delivery service was acquired by goBrands and it has been one disappointment after another. To see there online customer service cues are always high which makes me think that people are having issues with their orders. My final straw was ordering ice cream from them. It's something they advertise constantly that you would think they know how to deliver it correctly. Big mistake on my part the ice cream arrived completely melted and I simply asked for a refund back since i had to throw out what I purchased. Do not get the "Starbucks Vanilla Frap" they will bring you the "Starbucks Iced coffee" instead! For those of you who like the Frap but not the iced coffee it's a big difference! I blamed my boyfriend the first time this happened, I thought he ordered the wrong item so this time I placed the order myself and sure enough they gave me the Iced coffee instead of the Frap. NOT ONLY was it iced coffee but the flavor was wrong too .. Caramel not vanilla. I was very disappointed! Kept "delaying order" by 5 minute intervals... completely dishonest and I would rather just be told upfront if the delivery was impossible. I was up in Boston visiting some friends and they told me about this interesting app called gopuff. At first I was skeptical and am usually tentative when it comes to these delivery services, but after coming back from a night out, the cravings got the best of me and I decided to try it out. I was shocked by the variety of items and pleasantly surprised by the service. I ordered Ben & Jerry's as well as some chips and drinks. It came within 20 minutes and the delivery driver was very nice. Definitely recommend the service to anyone in Boston and will be using it any time I go up there. read more
