    Cappuccino at the Charles.

Just got a cappuccino and a single lemon macaron. How is this close to $10 these days Thankfully the splurge led to a peaceful beautiful morning on a bench at the Charles River, feeling grateful for the beautiful view and melt-in-my-mouth macaron. Note that there's nowhere really to sit in the store but there are tables nearby across the small side street. The cashier seemed friendly at first but then truly unenthusiastic, was a strange reception. Overall though the items came out quickly and I just accepted this vibe...

Le Macaron is the perfect place to stop for French pastries. The person working at the shop was very welcoming and friendly! The shop was bright, clean and items were beautifully displayed. There were many macarons to choose from. I chose the cassis and gingerbread. Both with light, tasty and made with quality ingredients. I will be back to try more!

This local family owned franchise of Le Macaron is perfectly situated in Cambridge, MA. The store is super clean and offers all types of desserts. Each macron I tried was delightful with even a few surprising flavors in there. The service was excellent and very attentive to ensuring your questions are answered and you receive everything you want. I highly recommend checking out this shop if you're in the Harvard area and want a pick me up. Definitely will make you smile.

This shop has a great location right next to the Harvard T stop. There are so many flavors to choose from. I tried 4 flavors. The Banana Split was a unique flavor I have not seen before and it was delicious! I was also a fan of the Colombian Coffee flavor. I give this 4 stars instead of 5 because it was a bit pricey and the other two flavors I tried didn't stand out to me to make the price worth it. But I would go back for the flavors I loved!

I've gotten the mixed chocolate and hot chocolate several times as well. The hot chocolate is never quite the same as the store but worth trying! I was super excited to try the ice cream and got a small hazelnut ($9 for one scoop). Unfortunately it was just fine, nothing special, and sooooo tiny. Wouldn't get that again!

They had a thin string on the back to mimic a tail, which also helps keep your hands clean--a fun and thoughtful design. The cocoa and milk flavors were pure and rich, with a smooth and silky texture. I personally didn't find it too sweet. My friends who tasted it also raved about it. Pavé Glacé: The best of the bunch. Made in the same way as nama chocolate生チョコ--frozen chocolate ganache, but this one had a fine layer of cocoa powder, making it denser and more solid. It melted in mouth and starts to linger, with a more distinct flavor profile from bitter to sweet to fragrant. Sesame Truffe: Two pieces in one serving was perfect. A thin layer of light cocoa powder on the surface, the shell was so crisp that it crumbled in mouth, and the flowing filling with nutty and caramel flavors immediately spills out. However, I didn't taste much sesame; it's closer to hazelnut, the classic chocolate flavor, and a bit on the sweeter side.
