Just slow response times getting someone to answer & waited a little over a week for my estimate but nothing major. However, I scheduled for the work to be completed and no one ever showed. I called and left a voicemail. When they finally returned my phone call, I was told they didn't know what had happen and would call to find out and "would call me back if she found something out." and I haven't heard back from anyone. I would inquire about it more, but didn't feel it was necessary to keep playing phone tag and schedule service with a company that doesn't keep me inform! This is a year late, but better now than never....We had been referred to this company by MANY…read morepeople we know. However, our experience with them was contrary to everyone's approval of them. I generally don't judge so critically and take everything into consideration when dealing with a high-expense service company. Our gutters and fascia were in desperate need of replacing, so we contracted Goddard to fix the problem. The gutters are so-so quality, not cheap quality, but not the best either. The wire mesh works about 75%. The fascia was very well built and the paint matched the rest of the house. But, as for the company itself....I am basing my review solely on the WORKERS, not the company as a whole or the salesman, etc....The three men who worked on our house used exclusively vulgar language even when my very young children were present. They ignored me and when I asked a question, they would either laugh at me or snub-nose me with a smart-a** answer. They literally would only talk to my husband. They left their cigarette butts all over the yard - even after asking politely if they would pick them up. They only half-heartedly picked up their dropped screws and metal shavings. With small children, I had to be extra careful and used a magnet to pick everything up - which were enough screws to equal a normal box from Lowe's or Home Depot. THE BIGGEST COMPLAINTS: 1)They never called to notify us when they would start work. They literally just showed up one random morning a MONTH after confirming our contract. I asked them to call me whenever they were on their way because I have a lot of appointments every day and work part time. They called maybe 10% of the time. They would come on rainy days only to sit in their trucks for ten minutes before leaving. But, there were days that had great weather, yet they wouldn't come at all. The times that they did come to work was inconsistent. We could never predict when they would come or how long they'd stay. It literally took them a month to put up three 40 ft. lines of gutters and replace all of our fascia on our 2,000 square foot 2-story house. 2)They didn't secure the top-story's gutter correctly, causing rain water to continue to flow in between the gutter and fascia. 3) We had recently built a new back deck. I visibly watched as the workmen literally slammed their ladder repeatedly against the stair railing until the railed snapped at the bottom post and leaned down towards the stairs - all so their ladder could be at an easier angle for climbing. I watched this happen. And they left that day without saying a word. Not a single word about it. And what was worse, was that they were LAUGHING once they splintered and collapsed the railing. So, we tried contacting the owner of Goddard. The secretary refused to let us talk to him/them/whoever. We tried for a MONTH to talk to the owners or at least a supervisor. I told the secretary that if something wasn't done about the faulty gutter and the heavily damaged deck railing, then we were NOT going to pay them for their services. That got their attention. They sent a crew of DIFFERENT men out, who were very apologetic and openly condemning of the other crew. They repaired our deck railing completely and re-attached our faulty gutter to where it had the appropriate seal. Needless to say we were quite relieved to finally see the end of that company after two - three months of headache. I do believe that we will be seeking out another company when we need those services again.

Initially the repair appeared adequate but a new leak developed and Kevin Dawe returned and supposedly fixed the the leak. The leak continued. I had another company come out and inspect the roof. They informed me that only a small portion of the screws had been replaced and the transition panels had been installed improperly. Based on the continued leak and improper work I can not recommend them.
