Would love to say the food and service was great, but we got there 45 mins before closing and the worker told us we couldn't eat inside. Due to him trying to clean the floors (he came out from around the counter as we were getting out of car 45 minutes before closing) after we had driven from out of town to eat there. Great Pizza and quick service!! Pizza was to go and was still Hot when we got home to eat it!

We were told that godfathers had great pizza so we thought we'd give it a try. It turns out that it is buffet style all you can eat with drinks and a salad bar. The place was packed, fortunately they are attached to a small bowling alley and there are tables in the bar as well as outside. The good of it is you can stuff yourself and drink as much soda as you desire. The bad of it is the pizza. The thin style was on what looked like premade crackers but the regular looked like dough. Neither was good quality. The sauce was to thin to get a good feel for how it tasted. But it definitely was nothing special. The cheese was the waxy cheap stuff and although it was gooey it was tasteless. The bits of meat toppings tasted good on some pieces and artificial on others. I can confidently say that any pizza, be it Dominos, Pizza Hut, little Caesar's, Papa John's, you name it, is better. It did put me in a carb coma which was balanced by the sugar rush. Last week, service was slow. Wife wanted chocolate cookie but took 12 minutes before arriving. I ordered a special pizza but was told it could not been done, had ample food available. Today (11/01/20) was worse. Understaffed so it was slow again. Again we asked for a special pizza and the cookie. 21 minutes later we asked for our requests. Was told pizza was cooked and put out. We had checked each pizza as it was put on the counter. We did not see it now we're we told it was available. Plus at that time we were informed there was no cookie dough. I drive 33.7 miles each way to eat there. Never had these problems before. They were always friendly and willing to help. The ones the last week were not so pleasing. Again, it appeared that inagequating staffing caused the uncooperative attitudes. read more

Simple as far as the atmosphere, but very clean and the pizza is reason you go to Godfather's! Sunday buffet is great as well.

We began purchasing Godfather's since early summer. When picking up an order we were told about a 2 for $24. large one topping special. Great right? At least 4x's we have called in and ordered the special and in their words paid an "upcharge" for an additional topping and stuffed crust. Crazy enough, just minutes ago on 10/21/21 at 6:30 p.m. I called to order our usual, was greeted by a woman who took my order, then said that was not allowed. I explained we had ordered it this way at least 4 other times. She blurted out that she was the Manager, that she would speak to the other's and told me my total was $48 and change. She continued to say "she" was losing (didn't understand her, she began raising her voice) "X"  amount of money. Unsure how they were losing money while we were paying all their upcharges. Beware, it seems prices vary depending on who you speak with. The owner's need to consider sending their Manager to business school, keeping your cool, communicating in a professional manner and customer service is key. read more

Have long been a Godfathers' Pizza fan and glad to see Rockingham finally get one back. The place was clean although almost empty for a Friday. Service was great as the staff was attentive. At first the price put me off a little as compared to other pizza places. However, I remembered the quality of the pizza so I let it ride. We got our pizza in a timely manner. Other members in our party ordered a salad with the meal. It was a little pricey at $3.50. Once we started eating the pizza, a meat special on original crust, the taste buds woke up to that old flavor. However that was interrupted by the taste of either old or freezer burned dough taste. That in itself will cause me to think long and hard before returning. read more
