Really cute and busy breakfast/brunch spot. Went to brunch on a Sunday, it was already busy. Service is very attentive and so nice. Many families with kids and just an all around wholesome restaurant. The food was so savory and an abundance of it. Music plays low in background, but conversations drown it. By the time we left, there was a line and wait list to get in. I would definitely come back.

The kiddo got the Avocado Toast with 2 poached eggs. Very yummy and healthy.

First thing, get the donuts. I don't care if you don't like donuts, get them. You'll be glad. Every thing we ate was good. Service amazing and fast. This place is popular so go early or at 1pm. I noticed there was a break at 12:45 with lots of tables available. Family friendly atmosphere. They have a bar, get a drink relax and brunch. But again, Get The Donuts!!!! Seriously good, not too sweet, freshly made. Like served hot.

    Hot brown mess.

I had a version of eggs Benedict over fried green tomatoes. The eggs were perfect (I don't usually say that cause it is so subjective). My friend got a bowl and didn't care for it, said it wasn't hot enough. We sat at the bar ( they were very busy on a Sunday) and loved the pleasant couple we were seated next to. I would definitely go back.

Outstanding brunch! They happily swapped out the ham for fried green tomatoes on my Benedict, since I wanted the eggs with the red eye gravy. Husband also swapped out the bacon for country ham on his Benedict. Egg white omelette was delicious with Sun dried tomatoes, arugula and salsa verde. The grits were super creamy, the Belgian waffle thick and light. Had to wait 30 minutes for a table just before 10 on a Sunday morning, but well worth the wait. Definitely a favorite breakfast option down in Pinenut/SP/Aberdeen area.

I ordered the Train Wreck which was a whole bunch of goodness on top a split buttermilk biscuit. It included fried chicken, bacon, egg topped with sausage gravy. One word: YUM!!! I definitely recommend this dish. Our service was fantastic. friendly and very patient with our party of 12 that included three children. Very cool atmosphere. Definitely felt like a place for regulars to visit and eat delicious food.

Came here for brunch before heading out to Holden Beach. We started with the donut holes which were absolutely delicious. Next I shared The Train Wreck with my friend and got a side of potatoes. It was all really yummy, the chicken was so moist and delicious and I'm picky about my breakfast potatoes but these were great! The coffee was good too, I just had a cup of regular old coffee but it was good. The service was a little lacking, we waited a lot for coffee and water refills but the place is super cute and in a really cute part of town.

An absolute joke. $9 for this piece of salmon for my salad

$9 for this piece of salmon, for my ($21) salad is an absolute joke. I normally like this place and haven't ever done take out.

Consistently the best brunch we've had in the area. All fresh, all made-to-order and delicious. Service is also always outstanding as well.

Good experience. Definitely try this place…read more Plan for 2 hours. Not a negative or positive- just an observation. Bottle of wine, 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, 2 desserts = $175 not including tip. Complimentary biscuits were not fully cooked - still doughy. Waitstaff said they were "waiting for the biscuits to cook" - totally understandable, but wait 3 more minutes so you don't serve uncooked dough. This is a time management thing for the kitchen: 5:00 reservations = put biscuits in the oven no later than 4:40. Escargot was good. Disappointed that our dirty/empty appetizer plates stayed all over the table so long. This is the difference between "fine dining" & a typical restaurant. Utensils used for appetizers should be removed & replaced for main meal. Just another little detail that sets apart "price is worth it" & "why'd I pay that much?" Steak frites were good. Lamb was good. Desserts were good. Cacao nibs were entirely too hard - I thought I was eating pieces of nut shells. Not enjoyable. Waitress was very friendly, but we did get the feeling that we weren't regulars, so it was ok to not pay attention to us (like remove dirty dishes).

The dishes are packed with flavor, clearly made with quality local ingredients, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable for the level of creativity coming out of the kitchen. They do take reservations, which is great for bigger groups (anything over six), and even when there's a wait, it moves fast. Never long enough to be a hassle.
