It was our first time going to Texas Roadhouse and it definitely did not disappoint!!! All the meat was cooked how we ordered. The seasoning was delicious, even the sides tasted amazing! Our waitress was amazing she had the patience when explaining what some thing where. She also made sure our drinks were refilled. Over all an amazing experience! We were amazed when the waitresses were dancing to a song that was being played on the speakers. We thought that was amazing because even the crowd joined in clapping! I would definitely recommend and I for sure will be going back!

Disappointing experience from start to finish…read more I tried calling in a to-go order around 4:00 PM on Friday while running errands. The phone rang for over seven minutes with no answer. After verifying online that they were open, I decided to just walk in since I was nearby. When I arrived, three teenagers were standing at the host stand ignoring the phone, which was ringing off the hook. I stood there for about 30 seconds without any acknowledgement until I cleared my throat. One of them finally said someone would be with me in a minute. A manager stepped up behind them to answer a line, but I was still left standing there unhelped. Finally, a third employee walked up, realized I hadn't been acknowledged, and walked me over to the to-go counter. She mentioned the dedicated to-go person hadn't come in yet but took my order herself. Thirty minutes later, my food was ready. I parked in a designated curbside spot and checked in digitally. After waiting 15 minutes in my car, I gave up and went inside to get it myself. I met the employee on her way out with all the take-out orders. To top it off, the food was completely cold by the time I got it. I also explicitly ordered a drink with no ice, but it arrived packed full of ice. Between the terrible communication, lack of front-desk professionalism, and cold food, this was a highly frustrating experience. I worked in restaurants for years and understand that 4 o'clock is shift change time between late lunch and dinner, however I am not OK being ignored while three people stand there also ignoring the phone and chitchatting in front of me

Service is spotty at best and the atmosphere is loud and obnoxious. If you're looking for McCormick and Schmidt, Sullivan's or even Capital Grill this place doesn't measure up to them. I'll be honest, I have had a better steak at Longhorn at half the price. We had to ask 3 times for bread, the soup came out and then the entrees came out a minute later. Wait! What? This is supposed to be high end, right? We sent it back, then 2 minutes later the manager forced the entrees in front of us. A manager that was in jeans. Really? I'm guessing this is the owners kid who knows nothing about high end dining. The food was so-so. I do a better steak on my grill with Harris Teeter butcher shop steaks. The baked potato was not cooked through. The mushroom Demi glaze was a clove laden mess. Awful. It's really loud here too. Difficult to hear and have a conversation. A star for the French onion soup but that's it. Do yourself a favor and pass on this restaurant

What was to be a quick lunch turned into a fine dining experience…read more We most definitely did not expect the wonderful meal that was to come! Let's start with the location: located right off a main road, Wolcott's is situated in a beautiful homelike building that fits in seamlessly with the feel of the area. It is upscale and classy looking from the exterior, with nice landscaping, deep blue and white features. Walking in the place feels very chic but comfortable. There is a bar and indoor seating, along with a lovely covered porch for dining. We came at a "late lunch" time and received great service (would rate it perfect had she refilled our tea). She was helpful, answered our questions, and made us feel very at home and welcome. Wonderful! Then came the fun! The FOOD! So if you don't know me, I travel the country and eat a LOT of good food. I've also deckhanded for offshore fishing guides and worked at a seafood market... so when I start off by saying the Lobster Bisque was out of this world... I mean it! The lobster bisque was one of the most delicious things I've eaten. The flavor of the lobster was the main feature with rich butter tones and the perfect blend of salty. I ate every bite possible, and I don't do that. My partner ordered the Chicken Kiev. It was beautifully crispy and moist. It came out piping hot and my partner greatly enjoyed it. I tried a bite and it was really good. The lobster Mac n cheese was full of actual lobster bites but I felt like the creaminess you seek with Mac n cheese wasn't there, it was very runny and didn't hold. The flavor was good but the sauce didn't back up calling it Mac n cheese. Now for the dish that was a challenge to win me over: today's special included a Reuben. I am a Reuben connoisseur... I have eaten them all over the country and I will say this was very good. The pastrami had beautifully savory flavor to it, the bread was perfectly crisp (a huge pet peeve of mine!), and the cheese and sauce was beautifully melted and delicious. While I wouldn't say it was the best I ever had, it was extremely good! The thing that won me over on that plate was most definitely the French fries! Holy smokes they had salt, they had flavor, they were crisp but some still squishy (JUST HOW I LIKE!) the parm and seasoning was just perfect. Omg they were good.

Good experience. Definitely try this place…read more Plan for 2 hours. Not a negative or positive- just an observation. Bottle of wine, 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, 2 desserts = $175 not including tip. Complimentary biscuits were not fully cooked - still doughy. Waitstaff said they were "waiting for the biscuits to cook" - totally understandable, but wait 3 more minutes so you don't serve uncooked dough. This is a time management thing for the kitchen: 5:00 reservations = put biscuits in the oven no later than 4:40. Escargot was good. Disappointed that our dirty/empty appetizer plates stayed all over the table so long. This is the difference between "fine dining" & a typical restaurant. Utensils used for appetizers should be removed & replaced for main meal. Just another little detail that sets apart "price is worth it" & "why'd I pay that much?" Steak frites were good. Lamb was good. Desserts were good. Cacao nibs were entirely too hard - I thought I was eating pieces of nut shells. Not enjoyable. Waitress was very friendly, but we did get the feeling that we weren't regulars, so it was ok to not pay attention to us (like remove dirty dishes).

Five stars without hesitation!…read more We were visiting the Southern Pines/Pinehurst area and wanted a local restaurant we could brag about when we got home. Full Moon Oyster Bar delivered. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The seafood was outstanding, and the atmosphere was fun, energetic, and welcoming. You can tell this is a place that locals love. The highlight of our evening was our server, Justin. He was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and made excellent recommendations. He/ and teamchecked on us just enough to make sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. Outstanding customer service. If you're anywhere near Southern Pines or Pinehurst, put Full Moon Oyster Bar on your list. We'll definitely be back, and we'll be asking for Justin again!

First and foremost: Lauren was absolutely phenomenal. She was a fantastic problem-solver and was…read morespot-on with her attention & service. The problem was that there were many matters that Lauren had to try to mitigate that brought our experience from a four star to a three star: My stuffed salmon was the last of ten meals served & it was so overcooked that the salmon resembled jerky. They offered to make another for me to take to-go, but that did nothing for me in the moment (I still had to navigate a burned meal & we all know that type of meal does not reheat well). Noodles & sauce that came with the dish were very good. The "succotash" was unremarkable. Two plates of King crab legs (an EXTREMELY expensive meal) came with no melted butter - my friends had to ask twice for butter - crab got cold before butter was ever served. Waitress (not Lauren) said full serving costs $120. For some reason, 1/2 serving consisted of two legs, full serving consisted of three legs? We were told a claw would be included as well with the full serving, but then "reassured" that a full serving was indeed received without the claw. Chicken teriyaki was good. Mussels with pasta was good. Apparently. it is "safe" to consume the living red worms that squiggle on the oysters on the half shell, but in all our years in other restaurants with oysters, we've never seen worms moving on our plates. Is that because other restaurants clean off the oysters in a different manner? Is it because other restaurants serve on ice? I honestly don't know, but do know I can't eat wriggling worms. I sincerely appreciate Lauren's attempt to alleviate our concerns. Apparently, there was/is a shortage of glasses, because refills of beer and alcohol came in different sized glasses with each round. One beer refill came in a small brandy-type glass with no explanation. Again, a solution was offered well after the fact, but honestly should not have been necessary. This is not a fault of the waitstaff. The potatoes & slaw that are served with each meal were brought before our drinks were ever served - are they intended to be treated like appetizers? (Just a note: Active Duty military & Federal employees have been advised not to consume poppy seeds - it's ridiculous - but half of our table couldn't eat the slaw (which was unfortunate because the slaw was very good - one of my favorite recipes). Fried dishes were over cooked - extremely dark & tough. Do not forgot to ask what "Market price" is - it may be well over $100 per serving. By the way: their Carolina Colada is now my favorite drink! Delicious!! Look at the back of the menu for the day's drink special.
