A couple of Saturdays ago, my best friend and I were planning on visiting this Kitchen Stuff Plus (KSP). We had visited Winners, JYSK, and HomeSense in the same plaza. It was 5 pm by the time we got out of HomeSense and we were ready for dinner. I have been thinking about visiting this store ever since. I managed to squeeze in a visit today. I parked fairly close to the entrance. I walked in, with a nice man holding the door for me on a frigid afternoon. I thanked him and wished him a great day. Chivalry isn't dead in Whitby. I love KSP, especially when items are discounted. The quality is decent. I looked at an ice cube tray with a box and a scoop. It was cool for $10 if you do a lot of entertaining or it's just you wanting cold beverages every day. My weakness is drinkware. I am happy with my glass water bottles. This store has many shapes and sizes of them. The mugs with cute sayings are also great. I saw a muddler. I'd like one, but it wasn't on sale. Next time! KSP helps me with organization and storage. It started during the pandemic and continues to this day. I found clear tote storage bins that would work perfectly in the bathroom. I got a couple. They were on sale. The best deal was a four-tier fabric storage cart with wheels. It was $22 off. Sold! I liked that the box containing the rolling storage cart had a handle. It was easy lugging it to the checkout, and ultimately, into my car and my home. I got a cheerful woman at the checkout. She asked for my phone number associated with my account. She found me. You can get discounts on purchases when you sign up to be on KSP's mailing list. I was happy that I saved $30 on my three items. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was done. I thanked the woman and left with my goods. I like that the doors have accessibility buttons to open them. I had to use them because I was carrying these items out. I managed to get the box containing my roller cart to hit both buttons. I'm so happy with my clear storage boxes. My bathroom looks a lot better. I haven't put my storage cart together. If all goes well, I may return for another one. I had a nice experience. I'd return again when I'm in the area. (63)

It is very hard to try furniture with someone constantly trying to sell you something. There is no need for you follow me 15 feet behind around the whole store. They sold me a sofabed for 1899$ before tax on July 25, saying I should receive this order in the week of August 4-9 (this week). On July 29, I received a standard copy/paste email saying they now expect stock to be in late August. No real date...just a vague email saying "sometime late August." They even put a pretty line about "working together" to find a suitable replacement. Why would I want a replacement?? I found what I wanted, and you couldn't even keep up 5 days later! Why are you selling something that you don't actually know when you'll have in stock? Why do you think its okay to indefinitely hold people's money without an actual date of when you WILL (NOT MAY) have stock?? I requested a refund multiple times via email as I needed this way before end of August, and their CSR agent kept trying to have a salesperson call to sell me on another item (why would I believe you have something else in stock??) Now, the same sofabed is selling for 2079.98$, with an "estimated delivery date" of August 26. I truly believe this is a lie to make a quick sale. After chasing this company through email, and them saying they will call me (however they did not tell me when, and just called me randomly as if I am available at any time), and me calling them 5 times in row until someone finally picked up, I finally have a refund, but not after the Brick claiming they couldn't hear me on the phone. Imagine me walking all over my house for connection, only to be told I could be heard once I ended up where I was when I initially dialed out. Funny, because no one complains about my connection except the Brick when I try to get my money back. At the very least, I have my money back, and I now know not to ever shop at the Brick or Leon's.

I did not fill out Purchase order and i didn't know what all item codes meant. I realized it was wrong one after I had to open it myself . The delivery guys put items into living room made me sign then left. They did not open it which after my wife came home she said they were supposed to. If they would have opened it I would have seen it was wrong way I wouldnt have signed and they would have had to taken it back. Now after talking to manager he said it was my fault and there is nothing he will do. That's not fair . I got RIPPED OFF by a manager who is not owner who made up his own policy. All I want is an exchange for correct facing sofa set SAVVGRS3 . Called head office twice and left message both times..Still no response. VERY BAD customer service when they make a mistake. Especially a $2900 mistake that I'm paying for.

When I called and reached the general department extension, I spoke with this amazing lady, who tried redirecting me to the pluming department, but no one was answering. So instead of leaving it at that, she asked what I was looking for and spent the time going to the department herself, picked up 3 different choices, and read the model number for me so I can look at it online, spoke to her colleagues to get more information, and gave her personal experiences. And when I picked up my order, it fits perfectly!! This kind of amazing service is rare to come by and I truly believe that it should be recognized. We asked to see the manager, no one came. We left after nearly 25 minutes waiting. This is not my usual experience but in less then a week it is the second time i ask for assistance without a positive outcome. A note: the staff were not overwhelmed with demands at the time. Be forewarned, to pickup off the shelf or to ask where a part is located, you should be fine. anything more complex, you have to hunt down the people that will really help you or care about the service.

Absolutely terrible company…read more Had a service call placed, and was not informed of the service charge. Tech was in my home for less than 5 minutes and stated "this is a known issue, unplug your appliance for 24hrs" and then proceeded to bill me their full service charge. Called the main number for my area (905 728 0654) and requested to speak with the manager, was told I was. Spoke with an extremely rude man, who said "what would you like us to do, stand there and defrost it for you". I also let him know that there are many service companies that state on their website that they do not bill if they do not repair. He continued to try and argue with me. He apparently missed the point entirely, and has now lost my business, as well as referrals. Not only did they bill me for nothing, the 'manager/owner' lacks common sense, and customer service. I do not expect things for free, however billing me $62 to tell me to unplug my fridge for a day is outrageous.
