It is very hard to try furniture with someone constantly trying to sell you something. There is no need for you follow me 15 feet behind around the whole store. They sold me a sofabed for 1899$ before tax on July 25, saying I should receive this order in the week of August 4-9 (this week). On July 29, I received a standard copy/paste email saying they now expect stock to be in late August. No real date...just a vague email saying "sometime late August." They even put a pretty line about "working together" to find a suitable replacement. Why would I want a replacement?? I found what I wanted, and you couldn't even keep up 5 days later! Why are you selling something that you don't actually know when you'll have in stock? Why do you think its okay to indefinitely hold people's money without an actual date of when you WILL (NOT MAY) have stock?? I requested a refund multiple times via email as I needed this way before end of August, and their CSR agent kept trying to have a salesperson call to sell me on another item (why would I believe you have something else in stock??) Now, the same sofabed is selling for 2079.98$, with an "estimated delivery date" of August 26. I truly believe this is a lie to make a quick sale. After chasing this company through email, and them saying they will call me (however they did not tell me when, and just called me randomly as if I am available at any time), and me calling them 5 times in row until someone finally picked up, I finally have a refund, but not after the Brick claiming they couldn't hear me on the phone. Imagine me walking all over my house for connection, only to be told I could be heard once I ended up where I was when I initially dialed out. Funny, because no one complains about my connection except the Brick when I try to get my money back. At the very least, I have my money back, and I now know not to ever shop at the Brick or Leon's.

I did not fill out Purchase order and i didn't know what all item codes meant. I realized it was wrong one after I had to open it myself . The delivery guys put items into living room made me sign then left. They did not open it which after my wife came home she said they were supposed to. If they would have opened it I would have seen it was wrong way I wouldnt have signed and they would have had to taken it back. Now after talking to manager he said it was my fault and there is nothing he will do. That's not fair . I got RIPPED OFF by a manager who is not owner who made up his own policy. When she was calling the day before five times throughout the day on the day it was promised, they never answered. After the last time I called from my cell (not on file) and they immediately picked up... what a coincidence. It was in the next day - but ended up being a different model and we had to notice it and mention it. They don't check model #'s at the warehouse and in receiving apparently, it was shady business. But we still got a deal I guess - lower price than what we seen online even though we got suckered into getting an older model that we didn't really want. Having dealt with Canadian Appliance Source three times (fridge, dishwasher, range), I'm a bit…read moremystified about all the 1 star reviews. As a distributor, Canadian Appliance Source is not responsible for the working condition of the appliance. Unless it is damaged in transportation, the Product Manufacturer is the source for repairs, maintenance, etc., as opposed to the middleman who distributes the product, but has nothing to do with its assembly. You can purchase extra warranty if you have concerns. My most recent purchase went smoothly, earning Canadian Appliance Source a 5 star review. I was in the market for a dual-fuel range (electric convection oven with gas range), and Canadian Appliance Source offered a wide range of products at very favorable prices. Delivery was easily arranged, the range arrived at the appointed time, and they hauled away my old range for no charge. They also offered hook-up service for the gas at a favorable cost. However, in my case, that wasn't necessary, as I have a friendly electrician neighbour who will just do it for me. I purchased a bit of extra warranty to cover the first full year of operation. I find that, if something's going to break down, it either does it right away or 10+ years later (assuming that you care for your product). It also helps to take the time to do a bit of research into the product lines that interest you. I had liked my previous Electrolux stove and assumed that I would get another, but I read so many favorable reviews for the GE Range (loaded with cooking options), and Canadian Appliance Source had just the model and the exterior finish that I was looking for, and at a far better price than those offered by the many competitors. I've had very positive experiences, but I have never looked to Canadian Appliance Source for Customer Service, so perhaps that explains the stars on my review. Anyway I will be back there again for my next appliance, whenever the time comes.

Edited to update after their misleading response on Trustpilot. I wanted a fridge with the door…read morereversed. This was stated. There was no charge stated above the no worry delivery offered or I would have paid it. They was zero reason to remove the door for a fridge smaller than the one going out that previously came in that same door. There was not a single mention of a copper line until they pulled the fridge out. Their response clearly shows how bad their service is! Worst appliance retailer I have had in over 35 years, never going back. Seniors stay very clear of them! I took delivery of a fridge on June 25, 2026 and the following problems occurred: They would not unhook the water supply because the tubing is copper; which is crazy because it is literally the same nuts and the water supply was turned off by me ahead of time! Luckily, I was able to do that for them or I would have had to call an appliance person. They removed my front door, nobody in 30 years has ever done that. They damaged the doorframe in several spots. When they hit the door frame they also dinged the new fridge in a couple of spots. They would not reverse the door because it was not on the order. When I mentioned this to the salesperson, he said that I never mentioned it. I chose the fridge on-line. I had a list that I rhymed off that basically said "exact model number, colour, the type of doors and the fact that I chose this model because I need the door reversed". A lot of packaging was left inside the fridge (they were supposed to remove all packaging). They did not level the fridge and I did not realize that until after I loaded it and used it a bit. Feet would not move. Had to empty the fridge again, pry it up and then turn the feet, put it down, check level and keep doing that myself until it was corrected! This fridge was not the most expensive as it was bought for temporary reasons, not a permanent fridge, so I was extremely accommodating. I wrote to them and listed the concerns and the fact that I was not being too picky. I would fix my house front door as I have that paint; I don't need a replacement fridge, either a door or even the touch up paint will suffice - with some compensation as I did not purchase a damaged fridge at a lower price; They agreed to the cheapest offer which was perfectly fine, they refunded 10% and sent me an Electrolux touch up pen; (note again that I had to unhook the water supply myself). This had taken some time but, in every correspondence, I said the door needed reversing (I could barely use the fridge for weeks). Finally, they said to go back to my salesperson. I did that, he checked and said that it had been too long and now they wouldn't do it. So back to CAS. They sent me a rather rude email stating "This item was delivered nearly a month ago and you did not report this issue to us within the first few days of the delivery. Consequently, our team cannot return to reverse the door due to the liability concerns" then basically told me to talk to my salesperson! So, I contacted my salesperson and also overed to pay $40 which was apparently missed on the order. He checked and the installers said they wouldn't do it now because the fridge is in use. So, what next, call an appliance person and pay that too 7 weeks later it is still difficult to use the new fridge!!!!! This is my overall opinion. Most people will choose this company for the free delivery all included full service. DON'T! YOU ARE BETTER TO PAY FOR THE SERVICE FROM PLACES LIKE THE BRICK OR LEONS. Last year I got a new upright freezer from Leon's, paid the service fee, it was amazing from start to finish. Another sort of comparison, I took delivery on a new box spring and mattress 2 days after the fridge, paid the service fee and that was also absolutely amazing from start to finish. So, if you get a good deal on an appliance from CAS, that could work, just don't get conned by the free service part, it has been extremely painful (and rude when I was an accommodating person from start to finish.).

On several occasions I have turned to Oshawa Appliance parts to assist with repairing my home…read moreappliances. They have helped me with my clothes dryer, side by side refrigerator/freezer and my oven. Each time they have provided excellent service. Most recently I called them confident that the ice maker auger motor had broken on my fridge. They recommended bringing in the part to have it tested before ordering it ($160 part). I did take it in and they bench tested it for free, confirming that it, and the solenoid that controls the motor were working correctly. Puzzled, I investigated further (there are a lot of great DIY appliance sites out there with detailed videos) and found that my problem was a couple of broken plastic tabs on a $12 part. I couldn't be happier that I did not waste money on a repair service call, or a motor that did not need replacing. DIY has saved me a lot of money and I have OAP to thank for that.
