    Fresh goose!
    Stuart T.

Excellent local farm with a fantastic selection of poultry and pork products, fresh ground pet food too! Ordered our Thanksgiving goose here had a slight miscommunication that had me return but they handled it well, and the bird looks amazing. I will update my review with photos after we roast it!

    Rotisserie Chicken! Very tasty

So many great meals this summer courtesy of Goffle Road Poultry Farm! It is incredible how good the chicken is here--the meat has its own flavor, and the seasonings we've had were light (Rosemary Thyme and Lemon Herb), helping to make the meat flavor standout. We also tried their Turkey Breast, which was phenomenal. It was flavorful, juicy, and huge! You have to call in-advance for their cooked items (Rotisserie Chicken, Turkey Breast, and Stuffed Chicken/Turkey (days in advance)) though they do have some extra Rotisserie Chickens available daily (Herb or BBQ I believe). They also have farm fresh eggs, and like the chicken, you can taste a huge difference. The eggs here taste much richer and are "fluffier" when cooked than standard eggs. We also tried their freshly killed Pekin Duck which I really liked. If you call/reserve before you come, they can keep it chilled until you arrive. They also have a wide range of frozen, and more-adventurous meats. So far we've had the Whole Rabbit (much more tender than I expected), Venison burgers, and Lamb sausages. To top it off, the staff here have been incredibly kind and helpful every time despite the work environment being so busy. Whether over the phone or in-person, you can expect top-notch customer service. Goffle Road Poultry Farm is my family's new go-to place!

Real organic chicken. This is the only place I will Buy my chicken wings from. Not overgrown (steroid) chickens sold at your average supermarket. You will notice it is tender. All the meats are good and priced normal. The eggs are very white and deep yellow color because they are free ranged on the farm. Now, I tried the asparagus homemade ravioli that was my only disappointment. If you like chicken pot pies, they make the best homemade pie. I have seen truck drivers by the chicken pot pie and start eating it while sitting in the truck because you can't stop once you taste it.

    Fantastic chicken pot pie

Wow i can't believe I have been driving pass this place for so many years and didn't see the sign. They have fresh live chicken, turkey, duck, rabbit, quail, eggs, sausage and other meats. I actually saw them bringing the live chicken in from out back, it doesn't get any fresher than that. Today I got a chicken pot pie and it was the best I have ever had. The crust is very flaky, chicken is seasoned well and the yummy veggies. Sooo creamy, I am drooling just thinking about it. I cant wait to go back to get some fresh chicken and sausages. They cook them a few times a day so order ahead and pick up the freshest chicken you can get.

Goffle's menu- I had a hard time finding it online so I wanted to post it for everyone

Soooo, we went to Embark tonight for the second time. Had a good friend recently tell me I needed to come back, so we did. Tonight we ordered a half rack of ribs, a pulled pork sandwich, and the pulled pork Mac-n-cheese. In a word, the food was fantastic. I've had BBQ in a LOT of places and also have my own smoker that I've gotten pretty good at using it so I know good BBQ...and this is good BBQ. The ribs were delicious - cooked perfectly the way the want them in competition...not fall off the bone, but with a little bite, and the flavor was great. Amazing bark on the outside with tender meat on the bone. The pulled pork sandwich was so tender and delicious that I wish I didn't have to share it with Wifey. And their homemade BBQ sauce is absolutely great...a little spice on the back of the tongue, but still sweet without being overly sweet (they have four kinds, but I only wanted the traditional). The pulled pork Mac-n-cheese was very rich but full of flavor with a nice breadcrumb topping as well. Each platter also came with cole slaw, something often overlooked by BBQ places, but not here. Very tasty, very fresh, though I think it needed a pinch of salt. I do wish we had gotten some cornbread, but honestly, we walked away very full. The service here is super friendly and our food came pretty quickly...and I really love the layout and vibe here. I spoke to the owner about how much I loved the food tonight and how it was such a difference from my first experience. I'm so glad we came back. The people behind the counter all seem to LIKE what they're doing...and that means a lot. Real BBQ places are always pricey, because you aren't paying for just the food, your paying for the hours and hours and hours of cooking it takes to get the food to taste as good as it does and to be tender. You can't take shortcuts with BBQ. So yeah, Embark isn't cheap, but if there's one thing I've discovered over the years it's that you DON'T want cheap BBQ. Embark is a BYOB place so bring your favorite beer, order some great food, and sit with friends savoring the deliciousness. I will NOT wait this long to come back again.

There is a decent amount of seating, although there were more takeout orders at the time I visited. It's very clean inside and decorated nicely. I ordered the 2-meat sampler with brisket and pulled pork. The brisket was awesome, super tender and packed with flavor. The BBQ sauce really complemented the meats. The pulled pork was also very good, but the brisket was definitely the star. The mac and cheese was just okay. The breadcrumbs on top made the mac and cheese a bit soggy. Portions were a bit small for the price. Overall, I thought my meal was good but I would definitely come back just for that brisket.

This afternoon my wife purchased two portions of your "Harvest Chicken" from the hot foods counter. When she brought it home, we sat down expecting dinner. Instead, we were treated to what can only be described as a culinary experiment in dehydration. I didn't realize chicken could actually reach the texture of corrugated cardboard, but your staff has apparently mastered that technique. Large sections were so hard that even a fork had trouble getting through them, which is an impressive achievement if the goal was to create building materials rather than food. It's honestly a shame, because an animal had to give its life for that meal, only for it to be cooked into something no human should reasonably be expected to eat. I have seen more care put into kindergarten cooking projects. In the end, most of it went straight into the garbage, which seemed to be the most appropriate place for it. For comparison, a stop at Burger King would have been a noticeable upgrade in quality. You may want to take a look at what's happening behind that counter, because if this is the standard being served to customers, something has gone very wrong.

Either way, everyone's a winner. The petting zoo is much larger than others in the area, giving the pets and the customers a lot of space to roam around. You can buy your tickets online, or with the QR code on site, or with cash at the booth located at the zoo entrance at the top of the hill past the upper parking lot. The farmers market provides amazingly fresh produce, fruits, veggies, baked goods, and a pre-made food selection. You can order a fresh sandwich, sides and soup. A delicious bonus. Somethings look out for include sparce parking at the top of the hill where the farmers market is, but plenty further down and towards the greenhouse. Also seating to eat is located in the back past checkout in the playground area that is also lacking a number of tables, but make meeting new people an experience when sharing seating. A fun adventure rolled into one location.
