I ordered a Mind Booster Smoothie ($9.25 plus tax) and an Arepa Criolla ($10.95 plus tax), made to order behind the counter with limited space. The Mind Booster Smoothie was comprised of a blend of organic açaí purée with guarana, strawberries, banana, blueberries, ashwagandha , spinach, & almond milk. The smoothie was not sugary sweet, but close to both sweet and savory tasting. The good sized Arepa Criolla was a hot corn cake loaded with avocado spread, seasoned black beans, sweet plantains, pico de gallo, queso fresco and roasted red pepper dressing on the side. This arepa was a nice treat to ho with my smoothie. Though a very cozy location, the staff here was friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed my smoothie and arepa for a late afternoon snack.
