I ordered a Mind Booster Smoothie ($9.25 plus tax) and an Arepa Criolla ($10.95 plus tax), made to order behind the counter with limited space. The Mind Booster Smoothie was comprised of a blend of organic açaí purée with guarana, strawberries, banana, blueberries, ashwagandha , spinach, & almond milk. The smoothie was not sugary sweet, but close to both sweet and savory tasting. The good sized Arepa Criolla was a hot corn cake loaded with avocado spread, seasoned black beans, sweet plantains, pico de gallo, queso fresco and roasted red pepper dressing on the side. Basically, you pick a tea (hot or iced) and a shake, drinking the tea first. I got the lemon tea with, I believe, cranberry? I can't remember what the second flavor was that I got, but it was suggested to me and it was so yummy! I decided to get the Caramel Macchiato shake and it was delicious. It tasted like a Starbucks Frappuccino, but it is so much healthier. Definitely going to be my go-to for a lunch alternative when I have school. The tea and shake are so filling and it is worth the $9!
