BUT...the service at Mineola Tire is so excellent. The man who helped, was VERY nice and didn't charge me. He just asked to use his shop in the future. It might be awhile, so I thought I'd write a Yelp review. If you're in Mineola, Texas or surrounding areas, I strongly suggest using Mineola Tire (right next to Dairy Queen) on Broad Street. I took a vehicle to Byford Automotive for a front-end alignment because he was highly recommended…read more I knew that he sometimes takes a while to get to a vehicle, so I called and asked how long it would take to get my vehicle finished. He told me that he should be able to get to it within 2 or 3 days. I called every few days (not every day because I didn't want to pressure him) to see if there was any progress made. He kept telling me that he had become swamped and he would try to get to it that day or the next. Two weeks of being told the same thing for a job that takes a very short amount of time, I called and asked if he had worked on it. He said that he had started on it and that he was going to try to finish it this evening. I told him that I had found another place that could do it while I wait and I would be by to pick it up. I asked if I owed anything for the work he had done on it. He said, "No ma'am, but don't ever bring it back." After he lied to me for 2 weeks and then treated me like that, he doesn't have to worry about me bringing anything to him, ever again.

I was quoted 11,500 for a new engine with labor included in that price. Got it towed back home and still had to pay them 1,402$ for a still non running car. They don't call you back you have to literally keep calling them. Before I got it towed there I was told my battery was good by American automotive and a tow truck guy (it was actually pretty much brand new) my starter was also changed by another mechanic a couple months before so I think they just really had me spending money for no reason. They kept guessing with me over the phone so I was told I was lucky I got out only spending the 1402 bc people have paid over 5k and still not running. Single moms don't go here!!! ask fb first and they'll help you figure out where to go. If I could give them zero star I would.

I emailed Dow Autoplex in Mineola about Oct. 29, 2014 and received a response from Mr. Zack Carver within a couple of hours. I went to the dealership the next day and met Mr. Carver and laid out my financial situation, the monthly payment amount I wanted, what vehicle I wanted in terms of a sedan, suv, etc. (I wanted a Sedan) and what I was looking for in a vehicle- safety and great gas mileage. Mr. Carver treated me with the utmost respect and explained how the process worked, what my options were and what vehicles I would be able to afford, according to my terms. While he processed my financial information, Mr. Troy Turner was deemed my salesman and let me drive for a test drive. He was respectful, helpful, personable and made me feel like he was truly interested in making sure I got the right car for me and my family. The finance manager then took me back where he explained my loan, payments and every paper he gave me to sign. I knew exactly what I was signing and was not rushed when I read over the documents. My overall experience at DOW Autoplex in Mineola was overwhelming amazing. I walked out with a 2013 Chrysler, rated high in safety and gas mileage and within my payment range. I will recommend everyone to DOW. In this day, it's hard to find car dealerships that truly have their customers' needs and wants at heart. Anyone walking into the DOW Autoplex will know they've chosen the right people to handle such an important decision. I am beyond happy with my friends experience at DOW Autoplex.
