I took a vehicle to Byford Automotive for a front-end alignment because he was highly recommended…read more I knew that he sometimes takes a while to get to a vehicle, so I called and asked how long it would take to get my vehicle finished. He told me that he should be able to get to it within 2 or 3 days. I called every few days (not every day because I didn't want to pressure him) to see if there was any progress made. He kept telling me that he had become swamped and he would try to get to it that day or the next. Two weeks of being told the same thing for a job that takes a very short amount of time, I called and asked if he had worked on it. He said that he had started on it and that he was going to try to finish it this evening. I told him that I had found another place that could do it while I wait and I would be by to pick it up. I asked if I owed anything for the work he had done on it. He said, "No ma'am, but don't ever bring it back." After he lied to me for 2 weeks and then treated me like that, he doesn't have to worry about me bringing anything to him, ever again.

Took my car here they charged me 539.70 for a battery, 542.10 to change my starter (finally looked…read moreat my invoice) and almost charged me 1200 for "further diagnosis" till my mom questioned them then they said nvm and waved the fee. I was quoted 11,500 for a new engine with labor included in that price. Got it towed back home and still had to pay them 1,402$ for a still non running car. They don't call you back you have to literally keep calling them. Before I got it towed there I was told my battery was good by American automotive and a tow truck guy (it was actually pretty much brand new) my starter was also changed by another mechanic a couple months before so I think they just really had me spending money for no reason. They kept guessing with me over the phone so I was told I was lucky I got out only spending the 1402 bc people have paid over 5k and still not running. Single moms don't go here!!! ask fb first and they'll help you figure out where to go. If I could give them zero star I would.
