Got the job done on time. All the communication with Michelle prior the moving was great. But after the move, the guys upsell me on caster cups. I didn't take it and they left. I later find out from my friend at the drop-off location gave them their caster cups to the guys. But the guys didn't give them to me. After calling Michelle, she said the guys got the cups and put it in the bench and the cups are in poor condition. This was not true, because before the guys left they opened the bench and put in their business card, the bench was empty then. So they could have just installed old caster cups for me. But instead, they were upselling the life-time warranty one and when I pass, they downsell me a cheaper no warranty one, and then left and never gave me the old cups. There was also basic floor protection during the process which also surprised me a little and kind of funny. Since they care so much about the caster cups protecting the floor. read more

PROS: Easy to get an accurate quote in writing BEST PRICE for my job, by a lot Came on time and stayed in good communication And most important, handled a difficult move successfully, carefully, and without getting grumpy. They took a 7+ foot piano up 22 slippery tile stairs. CONS: Not super flexible on scheduling, they do all day appointments and then give a 2 hour window the night before. Gohn's successfully moved a grand piano into the living room on the second floor of my townhouse without damage to the home or instrument. E-mail and telephone communication was timely and professional. I'd previously contacted local piano movers and neither were able to accommodate the needs of the move. 1 said the move couldn't even be done and offered moving it into the basement as an alternative. The other said a crane or lift would be required and quoted me a hefty fee. Using pictures and measurements via e-mail, Gohn's was able to provide thorough details of the move procedure without even having to visit.
