I had admired the higher end custom pieces at the old location, but sad that they are now the primary inventory at the new store. They have their jewelry production right in the back and offer to change a length/clasp/gemstone. I found an amazing vintage watch fob converted into a bracelet, but I didn't care for the chain. The gals offered me a few different vintage chain options and edited the piece on the spot! She was patient when it didn't fit and kindly added an extra link to the newly edited piece. That extra mile is what makes any business stand out from the rest, and I very much appreciated it! There were 4 different gals working and each of them were a part of my store experience. I love that vibe - a nice cross between slumber party vibe, girly pop vibe and artsy vibe. Most of their pieces are sterling silver or brass, but they have a handful of pieces in 14k and gold fill. I got a mixture of both! Their sweet spot price point is "affordable" while some pieces are definitely spendy. I've got my eye on a vintage wedding band for $3k. I got a chance to meet Karin when we went back to Kloiber to look at wedding bands. I saw why he chose to purchase the ring there. She was so friendly, genuinely loves what she does, and likes making people happy (you can tell). I found my band right away - it was her first recommendation as to what would go with my engagement ring. My husband, on the other hand, had a few rings ordered to be sent to the store to try before he bought. He didn't love either, so Karin recommended a ring that was almost a combination of the 2. He had to buy it before seeing it though as it was custom made. Needless to say, he made the right decision. His ring is great too. He also purchased a fab necklace for me for the actual wedding day from Kloiber which I love! Over the last few months, I have been into Kloiber (the new location is in the US Bank building - go up the main escalator to the Galleria level and you will practically run into it) several times - ring sizing, ring cleaning, ring pick up, necklace shortening, etc. I'm sure it would be fine if you just stopped in (ring the bell), but I would suggest making an appointment - they are very good by email as well. Everyone I encountered has been absolutely fantastic to work with. Excellent customer service. I honestly couldn't recommend a place more than Kloiber. They are fantastic.

When I showed my watch to one of the associates, he admired how unique the bezel looked and commented on it. You can tell the employees here are passionate about jewelry and watches. While I was waiting for my watch battery to be replaced, I took a quick look at all the gorgeous pieces that they have at the store. I noticed unique antique pieces as well as gemstones and diamonds. A gorgeous pink tourmaline piece caught my eye and I fell in love with how unique it looked. The next day I found out that the ring had a spot on the metal and I brought it back where the amazing jewelers fixed it up! I will definitely be returning to Sullivan and I'm really glad small businesses like this exist! It's about care, selection, and the quality of the pieces. Thanks again!

The recommendation did not disappoint. Buying local is important to me. I compared their rings to many other big-box stores and I found that at Sullivan's, you could customize the bands and it would be more cost effective. More importantly, you wouldn't be getting something that EVERYONE else has. The service was great. Over the course of a couple visits, we had a few people help us, including the owner Jeff. Jeff was friendly and personable in our experience. He even polished up my partner's old ring at no charge after we purchased our new ones. I'm surprised there aren't any reviews yet for this shop. I definitely recommend checking it out before going to department store.
