You want your white gold bridal bands rhodium dipped, you will pay per ring. So the way to get this cheaper is to solder them together, which you will pay for. By the way, because they don't tell you this, when you solder them together they may not fit. You should consider getting them resized. Oh and they charge for that too. You want your appraisal updated, it's not free. Over the past year I have apparently chipped three diamonds. I did not know diamonds chipped, apparently that's a thing. I understand paying for them, but find it funny that I have had these rings for several years and never had an issue until recently. I have another ring from a mall jeweler and they stand by all the work. I lost a diamond and they replaced it for free. They rhodium dip my ring for free. Recently they resized it for free. They also reinforced the back of the band that I thought was thining for free. I am supposed to get this ring checked every six months for the warranty to be valid and have not because I have not been wearing it, it just sits in my jewelry box. That's okay, they recently checked it and re-validated the warranty. I have also purchased jewelry at Kessler's. Kessler's is amazing! They have a great warranty and stand behind their work and all your purchases. If I need anything done in the future I will be going to Kessler's. We will never go back to Gold Creations. They have lost our business. I used to tell everyone to go there I will now be telling everyone NOT to go there! Word of mouth is a great marketing tool!

Yes, there are the big box stores but I have usually shopped at the private stores. I was in need of earrings and did a search. I found Lake Country and decided to drive over to see what inventory they had. Driving up to the store immediately made you wonder if you were in the right place as it was a well manicured farm, farm house, outbuilding for another business and the stand alone jewelry store. Country looking building. Walked in to see show cases outlining the front room and in the back was the repair equipment. I was treated immediately by Michelle and she asked me all sorts of questions to try and narrow down my search. Showed me many options and explained the differences. I needed something special for a birthday that would also be used for an upcoming wedding and eventually I found exactly what I was looking for. Never any pressure. We discussed pricing and they wrapped it for me. And the gift...her eyes were wide as saucers when she opened it, and she loves the earrings. Great experience and I will come back here for other items in the future. It is worth the visit if you are looking for high end jewelry.

After 3 months, I called and they weren't ready. After 2 more weeks, I called again and they were supposedly started but not done. A couple more days went by so I called again. One watch was done, the other one was not. After 'hemming and hawing', Michell gave the phone to Jeff. He said it would be at least 2 more months if they could even work on the second watch. It turns out he didn't have tools or access to parts for that watch. It was like pulling teeth to get him to admit that! His work seems to be good, his communication is abysmal. We had him close up the second watch and took it across town to another jeweler to get this one worked on. Very disappointed!!

Grandma Carol (now happily retired) walked me through a variety of styles taking note each time of what I liked and didn't until she presented me with a set that combined all the elements that had made my face light up. With my part done my fiance went back and looked through the loose diamonds until he found the perfect center stone. They serviced my ring repeatedly over the years. Sizing it up while I was pregnant and back down after my babies were born. They repaired a shank that cracked because I wore my ring to the gym while lifting weights and repaired a prong that I snagged and bent. For our 20th anniversary we had a custom enhancement made that made me fall in love with my ring all over again. I have other pieces from Kessler's as well: earrings, several chains and my favorite cross necklace. I hadn't needed anything in several years, but am now looking for another piece of bling. I showed up at the Brookfield store and was greeted by Ari who was able to read my mind and guide me to the perfect ring for me. She ordered one brought over from another store and has done some incredible logistical coordination setting a loose diamond into a Kessler's setting. There are a few extra costs when the center stone isn't purchased from them (cost to set the stone and an appraisal fee), but that seems logical to me. They are and will continue to be my jeweler!! I've never had a bad experience at a Kessler's store!!

We ultimately purchased four bracelets and some earrings that ended up costing $150. I'd say that was pretty pricey honestly. I mean the beads were nice, but not like some expensive/rare stones. I understand part of the charge is labor, but not sure I'd say it's worth that price. Not to mention, one of the bracelets broke after only wearing it once so we need to return to have it repaired-which is inconvenient since we live in Chicago. She messaged back with some information and asked if I wanted to come in to discuss and look. I made an appointment, and Vivian followed up prior to my appointment. Vivian greeted me at the door upon my arrival. Vivian had all my information on the ring and led me to the station to show me. She went over the details, the quality, what it meant, showed me a few other stones but when she asked me if I wanted to look at any other style, I knew that was the one. I wasn't planning on purchasing a ring that day, but when you find that one ring that you know is the one, what else is there to do? After the purchase, Craig Husar came up to say hi and to chat. I thought that was really nice that he took the time to come up to congratulate me and to thank me for coming in. Then I came back in with my girlfriend as she wanted to get me sized. Vivian took the hint to not let her know that I've been working with her. She kept it a secret. Afterwards, my girlfriend bought the first ring she saw and expressed how wonderful Vivian was, still not knowing I bought her ring with Vivian's help.
