Nice and clean. Easy going crowd. They had a change machine which was nice when you don't have any quarters left.

haven't been here since my review a year ago, just wanted to clarify any concerns of my remarks…read moreregarding "non-patrons off the street", I did not see anything different that any other laundry mat I've been to back in the day, there is always those random issues you come across, and I did not have any problems. Compared to other laundry mats or any public place having to deal with increasing & more visible "homeless" or "transient", this place was chill, meaning no problems. You stay close to your stuff, don't leave anything unattended, & make sure your vehicle is locked with no valuables left or out in the open. I plan to camp nearby again, and I plan to come back if I need clothes washed & it is still open & same condition. And just to add, at the local library I went to in Brookings, there was what looked like a young transient using the inside restroom giving himself a "sponge batch", but not threatening & at least he was being conscious about cleanliness. I'll have to say, anyone expecting charge stations & such, the Brookings local library was very nice, clean & receptive to anyone, and not really that busy, I was able to stay about an hour to charge my laptop & mobile device power bank with no problems, and the WiFi was excellent.

I was contacted by the business owner about my review. She was unhappy about the treatment I had…read morereceived when I went in and asked me to give her business another shot. She also offered me credit at her laundromat. While I've yet to use my credit I did go to Sunshine today on my own dime because I had a ton of laundry to do after my son's winter camp out, including a queen sized bedspread. I used one of the great big $6.00 machines and did a huge volume of colored stuff, and put all my whites into one of the $4.50 machines. The pluses are that their machines are fast, about 25 minutes per load. When I went in the place looked the same as before: It's immaculately clean, everything works, and there is plenty of space for people to work. There's no waiting for machines, even on a Sunday. I was glad because I was in a hurry, and I'm glad that I went back. Like I said, I HATE giving bad reviews... hate it, hate it, hate it. I'm glad to report I had a good experience there today.

I hate being lied to. I left a previous review and got a message telling me all the bull crap that…read morean overworked, underpaid manager has to say. I went back to sunshine laundromat and found that same unemployable reject working in the dry cleaning end. He is still an utter arse. I am a very nice person and NEVER mistreat anyone. After asking the dude that looks like he got kicked off a Grateful Dead tourbus for being too fucked up, a simple question, he again treated me as if I interrupted his dark web perv show. I had my sister go in the following day. Same BS, same asshole. Apparently they hate money. And no one ever attempted to refund the money the machines took from me. It really is heartbreaking to witness a great business crash and burn, but that is exactly what has happened. Sayonara dicks.
