The first time I walked into this place my thoughts were "this place is clean looking" I walked towards the back for my appointment with Mai. She is the only nail tech at this location. She typically works off of appointments only but once in a blue moon she may be able to fit you in without an appointment. Mai does quality work. She speaks English. Doesn't upsell anything. Has plenty of nail polishes to choose from. The second time I walked in I smiled & waved at all the hair stylists as I made my way back to see Mai. As I sat down i began telling her about needing a haircut & i asked her if she would recommend anyone. She pointed to a stylist, Linsey. Linsey & I made arrangements to get my hair cut after my pedicure appointment. Again, my pedicure experience was great! I am definitely happy to see Mai every time. Pedicures are $25 with a $5 tip. My appointment with Linsey was easy, she is the type of stylist that knows exactly what you need. She washed my hair, cut it, & blow dried it. My husband was on baby duty so I told her my hair didn't need to be styled. Linsey was finished within 45 minutes. My hair cut was $40 with a $10 tip. I definitely would see Linsey when I see Mai, it's so convenient to get your hair & nail done right after the other. Too bad they can't do it at the same time ;) PROS - affordable - friendly - quality service - Plenty of parking - Ease of appointment making I would definitely recommend this place.

I got there 30 minutes before they close to purchase braiding hair. i was over half way done and was being watched and fallowed the whole time which didn't really bother me as i was not there to steal 3 $3.99 bags. also i was the ONLY customer in there. they reminded me every 2 minutes they were about to close. both the HIDEOUSLY RUDE couple stood at the door with their coats on and timing me the whole time! Hell i barley walked in and they already was on my ass about closing! I was actually heading to the register but I had one last question and that made them EXTREAMLY MADDDDDDDDD!! I asked them both if I was just bothering them just being there and that did NOT settle well w them!!! She started yelling at me so I threw my things that I was going to purchase down and told them to stick it!! She then proceeded to tell me that i am just a trashy N@$$#R lover with dread locks and they don't like my kind in there and not to ever come back!! First of all they sell ETHNIC hair and accessories PERIOD. So if they don't like black people then wtf are they in this business!!!!?????!!!!! I found it difficult finding a black hair salon in this city after moving here from Houston. Call…read moreit luck but I stumbled upon this salon and booked an appointment with jimmy. I usually get a Dominican blow out back home and opted to have my hair straightened and styled here. This is a very affordable and quality guarantee salon: highly recommend. I've been here about three or so times since and I will continue to keep coming back. I love knowing that I can get my money's worth and look good and feel comfortable walking out those doors with what I came for.
