I don't normally leave reviews but the experience I had here was horrendous. I do not go to salons because I don't like to spend a lot of money but thought I would treat myself and did need a hair cut. The salon itself is very nice and does make you feel pampered, my problem is I did not want a pixie cut as I told the lady numerous times. I have been growing my hair out since September from a pixie so was extremely upset when I received yet another pixie cut. I wear glasses which alway have to be removed for haircuts so I can never see exactly how much of my hair they are cutting. I am extremely upset that again I have to grow my hair out again but until then I am stuck with the horrible short hair. Do not recommend unless you want them to do the opposite of what you want. read more

You guys have excellent customer service that's probably the only positive thing I can say about this place. Although I was far from pleased you tried your very best to fix it to the best of your capabilities which only did more damage in the long run-but you should've been honest from the start and clearly tell me that you did not know how to do African-American or mixed people hair to begin with which is why they recommended that you were the beautician that styled my hair because that was supposed to be your area of expertise but clearly you clearly you have no idea what you were doing hence all the product you put into my hair and proceeded to apply way too much heat which literally burned all of my hair off of my head. I am still dealing with the aftermath even a year later after that experience that was the worst day of my life I literally cried for a week after that not only did my hair break off but the damage was especially the worst around the front and the edges of my head and it really damage the curls in my curl pattern of my natural hair. You have neither the right tools nor the right products to style the hair of African-American clients and you need to stop falsely advertising and telling them so you need to clearly inform your clients prior to this and refer them to go elsewhere until you are fully equipped to do so or you will continue to do further damage. At this point it's more than just a unsatisfied client and more so about the permanent damage that you can cause to our hair because for us it takes so much longer for our hair to go back and recover. I was upset for so long and it took me a long time to just realize that you just didn't know any better. Further education and training is obviously needed, Raylynn. read more

This hair salon is amazing. Sara did my hair for about two years when I lived in the area and she did such a wonderful job. Not only was her color always spot on and consistent but her cuts were beautiful. I have lived in so many cities, and have gone to dozens of hair salons, and have yet to find someone as talented as Sara. The salon is very clean, nicely decorated, and extremely accommodating. I brought a picture to Katie. I left in tears and with color on my hair after 6 hours. Katie verbalized how frustrated she was with me because I was displeased with her "work".
