It shares a parking lot with Dunkin Donuts so don't miss the turn! I had a heavy package (a bed frame!) to return and while I could get it in/out of the car without any issue, I was going to have a difficult time getting it down the sidewalk and into the store. I went in and asked them if they had a hand truck I could borrow? The answer was no. I asked if anyone could help me get it out of my car? The answer was no. Unfriendly man said I could park on the side of the building (compromise!) and bring it in that way. I thanked him profusely and while I was leaving he shouted at me, "BUT JUST THIS ONCE! ONLY THIS ONE TIME!" Ohmygosh, thanks for that amazing customer service. Don't worry I won't come back with anything heavy! I should have just went to a freestanding Fed Ex, they are so much more helpful. read more

I put my package on the scale and it flew right off the scale because the scale has wheels. The representative didn't even attempt to hold it in place and just laughed, it probably happens all the time. My package fell and got damaged. I have expensive fragile merchandise in there. The package has fragile sticker on it. It's somebody's business or a gift, enough with the shipping companies and such being so careless with our money! read more

Brought two of my packages here. My package for $424 never made it to usps and shipped back. Now I lost all of that money. I've read in previous reviews on google that people feel someone here is stealing their packages. I'm a firm believer that my package was stolen. I sent a package from this store two months ago and the man behind the counter entered in the wrong address. The package got lost. The nice young man Juan told me he would file a claim for me and make sure I was compensated for the another's stupid mistake. I followed up weeks after to find out that Juan, the nice young man no longer worked there. Every time I call I am placed on hold for ten minutes and forgotten about. I've left numerous messages for the owner to call me but no one seems to want to fix this problem. I will just write this experience off and hopefully people will see this review read more

My box needed a bit more reinforcement after I carried it from my car and bits of tape came lose along the edges of the box. The employee there made me buy tape while the big commercial-sized packing tape the store uses was sitting right next to him. I just needed a bit more reinforcement. I am a repeat customer and I deserved better. read more

This is my go to Drop off location for all of my UPS packages, the guys are always friendly and so patient with everyone (people it's 2020 pack up your own shit) I send out over 10 packages a week and I've never had any issues with any of the crew at this location, and they are doing an amazing job practicing social distancing. They packed and shipped 2 very different boxes for me; one was about 12" x 12" x 12" and the other one(a monster) was about 40" x 30" x 10". Both jobs were done beautifully, probably the best I have seen since I got a shipment from Sotheby's in New York. In fact, they are as good as Sotheby's, in my opinion - and that is saying a lot. Just sent me a quote for $210.00 plus tax to pack and ship a very small box of non-fragile photographs, value $150, with a ship weight of no more than 1-2 pounds packed. Their price breakdown included $85.00 UPS GROUND shipping and $100.00 "Fragile Bubble wrap packing". As a very frequent, long-time buyer of these types of photos, I would expect to pay a pack and ship business $25-$35 in this instance .. $45 would be getting ridiculous... but $210.00 + tax? That's just scammy. How do they have any customers??! read more

Needed a notary public last minute for a lawsuit. They have one available whenever they are open. What a huge relief. They also shipped a bunch of documents for us. When I omitted something I went back and he opened the package up, added the document and repackaged it. All without blinking an eye. I really appreciated his attitude. read more

I needed separate receipts for each package since I was sending one package for a friend. The person behind the counter said they don't give separate receipts for packages. Let me tell you something, had a package that was somehow sent there and that was the biggest mistake ever!!! My guest who is staying with me went there to get his package, David behind the counter told him it's not there and my friend said it was because on the update it said he signed for it to be there so there is one lie! So the david tells him to come back in a half hr!!! We came back in and 1hr and a half later figured we would give him a little more time, then David says no it's I didn't process it yet come back at 4-4:30, so we left to do our little shopping and the. Went back, now I went in there because david told my friend anyone can come get it now, but the attitude that horrible man gave me was ridiculous!! First of all you don't tell someone to come back in a half hr and then they give you extra time and tell them to come back again! They were not busy, it takes literally 2 mins to process this package and I started to get angry because he was helping everyone else and was not processing our package we just wanted to pick up!! Then he flashes a badge at me don't even know if it's real, but seriously how dare you!!!! I would give this place less than one star if I could but this is not how to do business!!! I was not leaving there with out my package! People don't have time to keep coming back and forth for a 2 min process!! Will never go there again and I don't suggest you do!!! read more

I often would go here to drop off packages, etc. for mailing. Usually, everything was already prepaid and I thought it was a great place to drop off everything from FedEx to UPS to USPS packages. Today I went in and needed to mail a box and pay for it. I wanted the cheapest "postage" I could find. I had gone online with USPS and I thought it would be about $12 to ship the box. I didn't want to wait at the post office, so I popped in here to mail my box. The man behind the counter said it would be about $24 for the package. I questioned him and said is that USPS? He said yes. I said I had gone online and thought it was about $12? He said no, the cheapest would be $24. I said thanks and left with my package. After work, I passed the USPS and decided to just go in and see what they said. Well, turns out it really WAS $12 to mail this particular package!! I said really? I went to Gold Coast and they said it was nearly double and assured me that if I went to the post office, that is what I would also be paying. Well, they really opened my eyes. The lady at USPS said she hears that a lot about that place, they really double the price for your "convenience". Well, since the post office is 3 blocks away, it's not a stretch for me to just drive over there. I figured that I would give this place my business but if they are going to rip off customers, no thanks. You just lost a customer! read more

when i am in glen cove and need to ship a package or a letter or whatever else needs to be shipped via usps , fedex, ups , etc and time is not on my side along with honest lazyness i will use gold coast mail . yes you will pay almost double compared what the post office charges but if you can afford to pay money compared to time and waiting on long lines then this place will suit you fine with the no wait on line set up. they also have rent per month po box mail boxes if you prefer to not have mail come to your home but again rates are higher then the local post office and few blocks away . i like the system of bringing my letter or items that need to be shipped and have the dude behind the counter do all the packaging work , all size boxes and envelopes are available along with postal forms and whatever you need for your shipping needs . was able to send a next day letter to california and got a text when it was delivered . pay a bit more but you do save time when time needs saving . read more
