I have permanent damage for life, now that a "nail-file" like tool was used to cut away at perfectly good tooth, down below my gums and now I have what I describe as a tunnel that cuts through a mountain, I have a hole that I can literally stick a tooth pick between the bottom of my two teeth. I have nightmares about this. I have to floss several times per day to get huge chunks of food out of there. I should have left when she seemed like she didn't care the first time. I overall feel abused and neglected with everything I went through, it makes me sick to my stomach.

I am extremely upset with the front office staff at River Run Dental at Colonial Heights. They are…read morerude, and lack accountability and responsibility. On multiple occasions they have incorrectly submitted claims to my insurance company causing the insurance company to not pay. Sometimes submitting my procedure to an old outdated insurance, sometimes submitting my claim attached to a doctor that is not covered in my network. (a doctor that I didn't even see) Each time the front office has been rude and dismissive, gaslighting me too feel as though I made a mistake and am late on payments. After I have spent my own free time to follow up on why the insurance did not cover the procedure, it has always been because the dental office has been careless while submitting the claim. When I call back to the dental office with this new information all I get is more attitude and told they will look into it and will call me back, but they never actually do either. The dental hygienist, and dentists have all been pleasant and professional, but unfortunately the front office is a mess. Because you can not separate one from the other, I highly suggest going elsewhere.

Now apparently that is normal here because his follow up was the same way an hour after the scheduled appointment and I was told they're preparing the room. For an hour? Come on man. What bothered me the most was I went back with my son before he was sedated. In the room sitting on a counter was an instrument covered in blood from the last patient. Unreal. Next they come out to get me and say we're going to give him ibuprofen which my son is severely allergic to and it's all over his file in a big red stamp. These people are either lazy or clearly don't know what they are doing. Either way my next visit for my other children will definitely not be here. I DO NOT recommend this business and think the drive to a Richmond provider is worth it.
