They make you schedule parent visits if you want to go back but don't tell you that's an option until you're stuck with the choice of canceling your appointment if there is a parent already back there. They only allow one parent total in the back room. this is for all patients. So if another kids parent is back there you can't go with your kid. This is for hippa reasons. They claim that the kids do better without the parent but they have never had any reason from my previous visits to claim my kid needed me not back there. They said The dentists can assure the kids they are not scary if the parent is not back there. That was the creepiest thing I've heard. the receptionist also gave me update medical history paperwork unpon checkin but didn't tell me it needed to be returned before being officially checked in so I waiting forever before finally asking what the wait was for. They saw I was done and if I knew I needed to give it to them first instead of when I was called back then I would have. Courtesy says to tell the customer to give it back when complete. some doctors offices just take it when you're called back.
