I was at this salon as a customer while this incident happened, and I feel it's important to share what I personally witnessed. A stylist informed a client that she believed she had lice and, for health and safety reasons, had to stop the service. From what I observed, the stylist was acting professionally and following what most salons would consider standard hygiene and safety procedures. About two hours later, the client returned with family members and another man. They came into the salon yelling at the owner. By that time, the stylist who had been providing the service was no longer there. The owner apologized, offered a full refund, and even offered to do the client's hair free of charge to resolve the situation. Despite those efforts, the group continued yelling and threatened the salon's reputation on social media. I later noticed a wave of negative reviews, which seemed inconsistent with what I personally witnessed that day. I am writing this review because I believe people deserve to hear from someone who was actually present. The owner handled a very difficult situation calmly and professionally, and I don't believe the staff deserved the hostility I witnessed. read more

My close friend had an incredibly unprofessional experience at this salon. During her appointment, she was publicly accused of having lice by Nayelie in front of the entire salon rather than being spoken to privately. She was charged in full when the service wasn't completed & left the appointment humiliated and crying because of how the situation was handled. Her brother-in-law returned to request a refund because she was extremely shaken up. When she returned, the owner and another employee checked her hair and stated that they did not see any lice. The following day, her brother-in-law unexpectedly ran into the salon owner at Target. He observed her waiting outside in her vehicle for approximately 35 minutes and recording him as he left the store. Regardless of the reason, this behavior felt deeply unsettling and only added to an already uncomfortable experience. They expected professionalism, compassion, and respect, but instead experienced embarrassment, intimidation and a lack of appropriate customer care. I just had an appointment yesterday. such a lovely service! not to mention the environment very beautifully decorated. I had my hair done by nayelie; she did such a wonderful job. she's very friendly and understanding. I had no issues at all. she is very skilled and I do see myself returning in the future! I've been going to Christina for a few years now and she's so talented and sweet! She was able to take my thick dark hair to level 9-10 blonde in one all-day session (I know that's not really recommended but it was what I wanted and she delivered). After 2 years I'm back natural, but I still had some blonde on the ends, and she was able to use gloss to match it to my natural no problem. She also does amazing cuts and blowouts!!! Kim (@thekimmster) is wonderful. I hadn't had a real haircut in at least a year and a half and it was soo necessary. I knew I could trust Kim cause I worked with her for many years and she was my stylist back then. And was so lucky to finally get back in with her. Her consultations are very thorough you know she gets it. Plus, Kim's just a cool person. The salon itself feels so comfortable and calming. The way it's slightly divided gives it almost an individual studio vibe but the space a full salon has. I will be going back in soon for another cut and for sure come highlights. read more

I've been going here for a couple of years now. I see Jennifer and she always does such an amazing job on my hair, and on top of that is super kind. I've had my hair colored twice and have had multiple hair cuts by her and have loved them every time. She has also cut my daughter's hair a couple of times and she was over the moon with how it turned out. I've been getting my hair cut by Carol for a couple of years now, but her ig @_cosmicglamhair inspired me to finally start coloring my naturally thick, very dark brown hair, and I'm so glad we did! I was worried about damaging my hair or not being able to maintain the up-keep, but the first time I left Carol's chair with my new copper, I felt so good and started turning heads the second I walked out of the salon! We've continued to lighten my copper hair in our next sessions, and I'm happy to say that instead of the super compromised hair I was worried about, my hair is smooth and healthy and turns compliments even after several weeks! Carol's patience with hearing out my concerns and her guidance with hair aftercare and product recommendations has definitely been a big part of that. Also, shout out to her blow outs that last for days! Lastly, the salon in general is really great.
