What a fantastic roofing company to work with. We were nervous to work with a roofing company due to never using one before and not knowing who to trust for such an important job. We are so happy we found J&K Roofing, Tim came out right when we had scheduled to check our roof after the June storm. As we expected it was time for a new roof. Our insurance wasn't easy to work with and was fighting even on things just to bring our roof up to code. Tim worked very hard going up the ladder with our insurance until he found the person to make it right. He got the supplemental claim processed. Wayne assisted us with any questions we had and signing the contract as a tag team effort with Tim so that we never had to wait to be taken care of. We got in the "queue" and other than weather everything ran on schedule. The crew that came out to replace the roof was super nice and were very professional. They kept the surrounding area as clean as possible even during construction. I was super pleased with all the tarps they laid down to help keep things clean. They were even able to take an old swamp cooler off the roof and redeck the area so the roof is whole again. They cleaned up very well at the end of the job and we barely found any overlooked nails. J&K Roofing replaced the roof on my home in Broomfield around 10 years ago. Since then, I've had several other contractors accidentally damage the new shingles (painters punching holes with a ladder, solar installer tearing shingles, etc). Every time I contact J&K to get the damage repaired, I'm treated with respect, courtesy, and I receive prompt service. J&K was able to resolve leaks created by my solar installer that the solar people (SunRun) were NOT able to resolve. SunRun wants to slap on more tar without addressing the root cause, effectively ensuring the leak will eventually return. J&K fixed the issues properly with more shingles where appropriate and with their extensive knowledge and experience. After the leak was fixed, the gentleman who did the work named Carlos showed us the nails from the affected area explaining how the various rust patterns on the nails tell a story about the leak. It was like CSI for roof leaks and I was incredibly impressed. I had no idea you could learn so much from a nail. Bottom line is that in addition to doing exceptional work, J&K Roofing has repeatedly demonstrated a willingness to stand by their work with a rare professionalism and a smile. My name is Xiaoyu Li, I am a retired Electronics Engineer. After we finished the stucco around our house, my wife was really interested in the Stone coated metal tile roof. The reason we picked up J & K to be one of the candidates, was because we looked at a similar job they did nearby, and got a very good recommendation from the owner. We have 35 solar panels on our two story house. Due to the solar installer preferring shingles under the solar panels, the roof had to involve three different sections: tiles, shingles and flat (on top of the sun room. We are very pleased with the service we have received from J&K Roofing. They replaced our roof four years ago and everything was wonderful until the very destructive hail storm in June 2018. After the storm our insurance adjuster documented significant damage so we contacted Danny of J & K Roofing. He agreed that we needed a new roof so we scheduled a convenient time for the work. The week before we were scheduled Danny called us and said, "We can be there on Monday." We were expecting them to deliver the shingles and then do the work sometime that week but we were pleasantly surprised when they delivered the shingles at about 8:00am and a crew of 7-8 roofers set to work immediately. By 4:00pm we had a new roof and everything was cleaned up. We've watched other roofing companies do work in our area and sometimes it takes them more than a week to finish a job and they leave a mess behind. J&K Roofing handled my roof replacement after hail damage back in 2020. It was a messy large job with steep pitches, poor access on my treed acreage in Evergreen that required the workers to carry all the shingles up to the roof by hand slinging a package of shingles over their shoulders. The whole crew worked so hard and were very friendly and accommodating with their vehicles so I could get in and out of my driveway. The project included coordination to remove and reinstall my old solar collectors. Brent Yastremski was the project manager and handled this whole project so professionally and did all the coordination with my insurance company and the solar collector sub-contractor. Outstanding service from the start. Our neighbor just had his roof completed and when I spoke with him, he said they did a great job and was very pleased. I spoke with Chris about replacing our 25 year old shake roof and he was very helpful, offered advice and what options we could take. We elected to have a class 4 impact resistant asphalt shingle installed. The installation crew came out between snowstorms and over two days the project was completed without a hitch. The crew did a great job cleaning up their work despite the snow on the ground, city inspection went off without an issue and Chris checked back with us to confirm we were satisfied with the work done. During last winter's winds my elderly neighbor lost his roof. J&K was there hours afterwards and had his home secured with a temporary fix. They had him completely repaired within 10 days. I used J & K Roofing for my first roof replacement. We have a medium size house and was completed within two days. There were challenges with supply and scheduling due to Covid, but Wayne kept me up to date on every change and provide a completed job through the difficulty time. He even accommodated my request for a walk through after the job and provide personal service with cheer. The cost was average compared to two other quotes we got, but provided quality service that I would surely pay for. Needed a new roof and gutters. J&K was very responsive and flexible with my schedule. Replaced the roof in about a day and the gutters were replaced 2 days later (those guys went above an beyond by getting rid of a lot of wasps' nests hiding behind the gutters). This was a few months ago and everything has been great so far! They did leave some nails and other material scattered through my yard, but I understand it's a lot of little pieces to try and clean up. Also, gaps between the gutters and the side of my house (not affecting functionality), but they told me after that I'd need wood installed between and they don't do that (forget the term). I had a roof leak. It was not a very big leak but sometimes water would enter a downstairs room and ruin the drywall. I called several contractors and got quotes for over $2,000 to fix the leak. I called J&K Roofing and they sent out Noah to look at my roof and give me an estimate. Noah took off the roof tiles on the area were the rook was leaking and he could not fine anything except a small cut in the roof felt covering my roof. Noah told me that the cut was very small and that he suggested he would put tar on the cut and that should fix the problem. He said would not charge me for the repair since it was so small. WOW!
