We had a contract for him to remove fill dirt and put down erosion control, and he did not seem to follow the contract on many levels. We had to hire someone else to correct what they did because we continued to have issues. Consultants told us that he left 3-4 feet of dirt that was all supposed to have been removed down to native and that he put the erosion materiel the wrong way on the hill. We asked him to come back and fix what he failed to do, but he refused. If you want someone honest, in my opinion, I would not recommend anyone hire this guy!

As we are new to the area, we put out some feelers and were introduced to Levi, Joel, Esther and Debbie at Left of Center. Levi and Joel came to the home to assess the issues. They provide feedback, direction, and options. They were patient, knowledgeable, communicative, and thorough. We brought the team on to repair an upstairs railing and balusters that was in disrepair and asked for a complete redesign. The LoC team worked with our schedules, came in and did an OUTSTANDING job! The work was not only impeccable but done with such care and attention to detail and in a timely manner. They really cared about our home and the work they were doing and left the area spotless; you would have never known they were here! My wife and I could simply not recommend Left of Center more. We will for sure be hiring them again and will do so with complete confidence!

We were in constant communication and he kept me updated every step of the way. And the results were fantastic. Long review/full story: We worked together with an engineering company to draw up plans to remove a 30 ft load bearing wall. From start to finish, it was a roughly 4 month process (because of COVID) and Josh worked tirelessly from the planning process to a finished project. He does his own work and takes pride in the work that he does. He was very upfront and honest about any issues we were going to face during construction, and we worked together to find amenable solutions. Oftentimes, there are hiccups, delays, and unforeseen problems when dealing with construction and it's the contractor's job to communicate what's going on to the client and Josh is superb in this aspect. Over the 3 week construction process, we were in constant contact and tackled the problems together. Josh runs a top-notch company and his work is impeccable.
