Finally decided to try the Golden Chicken for dinner. A lot of the items on the menu looked good so I decided to give multiple things a try. I had the 1/2 chicken with beans and Yuca fries as sides. I also ordered the mayo sauce and the viniagrette sauce. The chicken, a generous portion, was very flavorful and extremely tender. The beans were also flavorful, the spices kind of reminded me of chili. The yuca fries were not as good as I hoped, they did taste a lot like fried potatoes with a more starchy texture, some were tender but some were a little tough. Both of the sauces were excellent, I used them as a dipping sauce with the chicken and the fries. The sauce especially enhanced the taste of the chicken...wow! I also ordered the plantains, they were very good and I recieved a generous portion. My wife ordered the cheese steak sandwich with fries. The sandwich was good, but the buns used got very mushy and kinda ruined the sandwich, I hope they would look for a more substantial bun to use. The fries were very good, although they could have used a little more time in the fryer to make them a little more crispy. We also tried the Inca cola, interesting, tasted great..kinda like a Peruvian Mt. Dew. Lastly I had to give the desserts a try. The churros were very tasty, the Carmel sauce covered them which caused them to be soggy, I would see next time if we could get the sauce on the side. The Tres leches cake was very good, would definitely order this again. The Alfajor cookies were very good also, not overly sweet and a good combination of soft cookie and sticky filling. The dining area was very clean as well as the kitchen area. Service was fast, the staff were very nice, and I especially appreciated that the person on the register went over my order to make sure that it was all there before I left. So glad to have a Peruvian restaurant open in town. I came here for my birthday and it did not disappoint! The chicken was flavorful, the rice and beans fresh, and the Aji sauces were DELICIOUS! ***Door dash review only*** Ordered the 1/2 chicken from here with chaufa (fried rice) and the pinto beans. Chicken was very flavorful, and moist with good flavor. The sauces were not what I was expecting and didn't really add to the meal for me, both the mayo and the house spicy sauce. That being said with this as a a DoorDash order, I'm not sure if there are more options when dining in (door dash did not allow for substitutions or requests), but I preferred the flavor of the chicken plain without the sauce. Highlight of the meal was unexpectedly the chaufa. It was so flavorful, spiced, with fresh scallion, bell pepper mixed throughout. I did not love the pinto beans and got based on reading reviews, but would not get again. This place seems to be a new Lincoln favorite, so I'd love to dine-in sometime to receive the full experience, just wasn't blown away this time. We went there just right when they open @ 1030am. My friend & I ordered 1/4 chicken with 2 side. I had yuca & rice. My friend had bean soup & salad. The meals came out in timely manner. We were enjoying the chicken, tendered & flavorful. We finished with churros & enjoyed them as well- came with caramel sauce. We came early on a Saturday evening, the restaurant was not very busy yet. The restaurant was bright and clean including the kitchen most of which you can see from the dining area) my sister order 1/4 chicken(white) with fries and salad, I had 1/2 chicken dark with yuca and salad. My husband had bisteck a lo pobre with plantain and salad. The plantains were sweet and delicious, the steak was well cooked the sauce were flavorful. The real standout however, was the chicken. Light or dark the chicken was moist and delicious. We will be back to try more. read more

They're doing a whole lotta things right here. I just left from my first visit and the food and service were both excellent. I got the 1/4 chicken (leg) with fries and salad. I was looking forward to try this new place and they do not disappoint! We had Lomo Saltado, Pesto spaghetti and Pollo a la brasa and everything was delicious! So worth the drive to Lincoln! The workers are so nice and attentive shout out to Diana and Ronaldo, sweet kids that work there. I am Peruvian and it's such an amazing feeling when you find a restaurant that advertises Peruvian food and it actually tastes like it! The restaurant is very nice and clean and the owner should be proud of such accomplishment. Congratulations and much success! My husband ordered the 1/4 dark chicken . I ordered the Golden salad without croutons due to dietary needs. Verified with the waitress that the salad would not have croutons on it. My husband received his chicken and the waitress handed me a plate also. Why did I need an empty plate if I had ordered my own meal? I kept waiting for my salad. We waited at least five minutes until my salad came out. Why wasn't our food brought out at the same time? Did they forget to make my salad? They finally brought the salad out with croutons on it and extremely thinly sliced chicken. It didn't look like the golden chicken at all. My husband asked our waitress for our bill and she never came back with it. My husband ended up going to the front counter and paying for our bill there. On a side note, the restaurant was clean. This restaurant has amazing Peruvian food! I ordered dark chicken and had fried plantains and fried Yuca for sides. I thought everything was flavorful and well-made. First time trying it today. Went in for a to go order. Got the half dark chicken with salad and golden fries (basically potato wedges). Sat down to wait for my order. Next table over ordered a couple entrees. One guy ordered some sort of steak meal and when it was placed in front of him, his eyes got excitedly wide and simply said "Wow" and then dug in. Next time, im gonna get that. As for my chicken dinner, it was great. Chicken was seasoned great, salad was fresh and crispy and I loved my golden fries,could have used a few more on the plate. Im a glutton. Lol Another thing I like about this business upon looking up Google reviews, the owner, William, provides excellent customer service. He personally thanks customers for leaving reviews, and for the rare experience that wasnt up to par, He takes accountability and offers the customer the chance to make sure their next visit is done right. This is my new favorite place. If you like chicken or just good food in general, give this place a chance. I will be back! read more
