We stopped in for lunch because of the great reviews. The restaurant is located in a strip mall. There are about a dozen tables inside with a rather nondescript decor. There was one server who was friendly and attentive. The menu offers a blend of Asian foods with a Burmese twist. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. We were the only ones dining in. I had the Tom Yum soup with chicken. The soup was warm and flavorful, I could taste the lemon grass. The chicken was really dry, however. I had ordered the Jasmine rice, but he brought out the coconut rice which was too sweet for me. My husband had the Burmese Pad Thai. The Pad Thai was ok with a lot of noodles.

This can only be defined as a dive. The decor is actually a little off putting. However, the food is very good. We have experienced the mango tofu and the eggplant with garlic. We ordered the coconut rice as the accompaniment. We also tried the samosas. The dishes were quite tasty. They can adjust the degree of spice based on your preference. We hope to explore more of the menu in the future.

We loved High Peak in Omaha, so when I learned it was closed, I was pretty bummed. All of my family had been able to try it including my mom, uncle, aunt, and grandma, and they all had enjoyed the unique Burmese cuisine that is not commonly found in the midwest. Eric R. and I recently visited my grandma to check on her in the pandemic, and on the way back, we decided to stop for dinner in Lincoln. I did a quick yelp search and realized that High Peak had reopened in Lincoln, and was not a far drive from our stop at Trader Joe's. The menu was comfortably familiar as I recognized all of the dishes we had tried in Omaha. I ordered eggplant, and Eric R. got a chicken curry noodle soup. We enjoyed our dishes, which fueled us for the remainder of the drive back to Kansas. There is an extensive menu, but the one thing I am sad about is that the sizzling shrimp appetizer was sold out/unavailable, which was the same case every time I went here in Omaha. I hope one day I will actually get to try this popular appetizer!

Had the Burmese Pad Thai with Chicken and it was amazing. Def would have done more spice next time. The 1 was natural but tasty. Tried someone's beef at 5 and it had a nice lingering heat to it. Tried the spring rolls and they were odd without the peanut sauce. Would definitely go back to try the other pad thai meals.

l've always wanted to try Burmese food and was super excited to find this spot in Lincoln. I've heard Burmese is a combination of Indian & Thai flavors, both of which I love- due to geography. I chose chicken kebat, which is an awesome spin on chicken tikka masala, along with Sesame Beef. Sesame beef seemed more like Mongolian, which makes sense. Both were awesome and unique. Highly recommend this place. great food and value.

Good food, good service and a casual ambiance perfect to eat there or take home. Don't know what to order just pick or use your favorite number and choose that item. Enjoy

An ample portion of entree & good value for the price. Just like anywhere else right now the wait time is awhile since Covid. I like the variety of option on the menu & the level of spiciness. Give this place a try at least a couple times! I have been going there at least every other week to try other dishes. Usually I have a fiery lamb with spicy level of 9 - the right amount of spice for me. Enough lamb morsels with some firm tofu, green beans & bell peppers.

Worst food I have ever tasted. The meat was over cooked and rubbery. I would not recommend this place at all.

We always order to take out because the service when you eat there is a little spotty. It is one of our favorite places for yellow curry.

They dont have all drinks on the menu and the menu is not updated. They did tell us what was not available but was a generic dont have these and just slid his fingers on the menu. I finally got an iced lemon tea. We initially ordered egg rolls and a hot pot. We ordered spicy soup together with bok choy fungus( wood ear mushrooms) Beef, spam, fishballs and jumbo shrimp and egg noodles with a side of white rice. The soup came with a burner and it wasnt powerful enough to boil the soup on the pot. The pot had no definite style to it. Tasted like soy bean soup with some sichuan peppers. Not excessively spicy and not very flavourful. Our ingredients took a long while to come out- and our egg rolls eventually never came. Practically all the ingredients were frozen with the exception of the fungi and the egg noodles. The sauce station looks thrown together with takeout containers and plenty of sauce. The bbq sauce had part of a spoon which was broken off in the sauce. The sauces are similar to haidilao type just not as fresh. But the chives looked a little greyish. Overall, service is not fantastic. We did remind them multiple times about the egg rolls, but it still didn't ever arrive. They at least took it off the bill. We forgot to check about the missing bakchoy. Not sure we will be back anytime soon. Hubby wasn't quite happy with our dinner last night.

The guy I went with unwrapped his silverware and the napkin was dirty on the inside. The food tasted delicious, but we had a hard time trusting it after the napkin situation. The salsa was good, the "spicy" one just has some hot sauce added in. It was cool they brought out bean dip too. Margaritas were amazing. Staff was nice enough. It's interesting because it feels like the restaurant is trying to be a sports bar and a nice sit down restaurant at the same time. It definitely doesn't have sports bar prices. It was very hot, I couldn't eat much because of how hot it was, and we heard the table of 6 talking about how hot it was inside at the table next to us too. It's also extremely loud in there, no music just the sound of clanking dishes. Overall it was good, I'd probably go back for margs and maybe an app to share, however I have a lot of other Mexican restaurants to try in Lincoln first.

Our waiter was fun, funny, and really added to the overall vibe of the evening. The margaritas were fantastic -- the best skinny marg I've had, perfectly balanced and definitely worth ordering (maybe more than one ). The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that the queso wasn't served hot, which was a bit disappointing. Everything else was spot-on, though, and I'd absolutely come back -- especially for the service and those margaritas!

We ordered cocktails and Calamari for our appetizer which was perfectly done and lightly breaded, the best we've ever enjoyed. Tasty homemade rolls with butter and Seasoned Olive Oil came with our creamy soup and salad. The Seafood Alfredo was to die for, the creamy sauce paired perfectly with huge shrimp, mussels, clams and scallops. The creamy brandy sauce that enveloped my husband's order was delightful. Our service was professional and accommodating. We never felt rushed, it was a leisurely dining experience. My only regret is not ordering the Tiramisu with a cup of coffee to make the perfect finish. Next time. The prices are totally reasonable for such delicious offerings. It reminded me of the old Legion Club, The Nebraska Club and Tony and Luigi's. All three of which are terribly missed. Lincoln is so lacking in providing a relaxing, lovely dining experience but now there is one restaurant we will gladly patronize. Thank you to the Chef and to all the kind staff for a memorable evening.

I got the Carsoni (pesto) and did both chicken and shrimp which was $22, it's enough for two meals though so this is fair. The sauce was flavorful, good consistency of oil and basil. Loved that it included mushrooms but could have used more of them in it, also had bell pepper and broccoli. I'm not sure broccoli goes too well with the pesto dish, but it was steamed well and soft. The shrimp were huge and they had 4-5 in the dish. We also did bruschetta as an app, and loved the fresh tomatoes/garlic/herbs on top. Loved the dipping sauce with the bread as im a balsamic/oil freak. The soup was just okay, it was a creamy chicken/potato but it was very pureed and not quite what I was expecting, I'm not sure there was even a chunk of chicken in it. I've definitely had better next time, I'll be inclined to try the salad instead. Drinks were fun, I enjoyed the black raspberry margarita flavor and a limoncello spritz although both appeared a bit too watered down and not too strong. Service was fine, however hard to really judge since we came during mid-day late lunch and I'm pretty sure we were the only table there.
