This is the best NY style Chinese take out place in Clermont. The only downside is the sweet and sour sauce has a fruit forward flavor to it which isn't traditional. Highly recommend the orange chicken. read more

Food was hot despite driver having difficulty find the address. There were no napkins or utensils. Bourbon chicken doesn't taste like other bourbon chicken I've eaten. It was a 50/50 kinda meal the other night: Egg rolls, eh, tasted meat-free and very unseasoned. Just dough & cabbage taste. Won Ton Soup - pretty good! No complaints! Chicken Fried Rice - Eh, not really a lot of vegetables and the visual appeal was... odd. The rice itself was quite dark, almost more black than brown, and the chicken was stark white indicating it likely wasn't cooked together with the rice. Average taste but visually odd. Chicken lo mein - good! Meal with black bean sauce - quite good! Really do love a good black bean sauce and it was done excellently! Picked this all up on a whim on my way home. I had to come out of Yelp review retirement for this one. Long story short, they made a mistake on our order, and my FIL went to go retrieve what was missing. Non big deal. Absolutely awful. My whole family got sick with diarrhea. We knew when we tasted the rice it was old and noticed some pieces of pork that looked almost black. Most likely they mix old fried rice into the new. I didn't finish which is probably why I didn't get as sick as my mom's husband. We ate there Saturday February 4th, 2023, it is now the 9th and he has been bed ridden. He had to go to the ER, after blood work, CT scan, and ultrasound they determined he had food poisoning. The swelling in his intestines caused him to get a UTI (originally he thought he had kidney stones because he couldn't pee so that's what they were looking for at first) Not only has he lost wages from having to miss the whole week but has spent over $1k in medical expenses. We've been going here for 3 years. However lately the food is hit or miss. Sometimes the taste is good but the quality of the food is sub par. Or the food just doesn't have any flavor. We always do the lunch special which jumped in price not too long ago. You get a ton of rice which gives the illusion of a lot of food. But you get an average amount of the entree. Includes a soda but they haven't had any diet soda the past few times we've gone. And we're not picky soda drinkers, just prefer diet. You get fortune cookies about half the time. They have a nice online ordering system. Too bad the food isn't worth it. Time to go somewhere else read more

The egg rolls are the size of frozen spring rolls and all you taste is the cabbage, we ordered the cheese wontons equivalent to the crab ragoons and they were okay. The sauce they came with is supposed to be sweet and sour sauce. However it tasted like warm kool aid and that is putting it nicely. I ordered the sesame chicken with veggie lo mein. That was tasty and did that correctly. My husband got the barbecue spare ribs and the sauce was very sweet and again tasted like koolaid. We were not impressed and will stick with one of the other Chinese restaurants here in town. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is the absolute worst chinese restaurant in all of Clermont with HORRIBLE customer service. The general tso's chicken tasted like nothing but freezer burn and was soggy, but the entire meal tasted like it was days old. When I called to ask them for a refund, they got loud with me and insisted I dig the food out of my outside trash bin and bring it back in to give it back to them. How does one begin to rate a dumpster. Well I will make an attempt. We ordered 2 boneless pork and fried rice lunches or at least what appeared to be spare ribs. The lunches looked somewhat okay when I bit into mine it was more like biting into nothing but fat. I took another bit and fat and another and another and soon had a pile of what looked like something from a morgue. Being Chinese I have never in my life experienced such food. We brought the food back to the restaurant and spoke to the woman that cooked the meal and she said ohhh nooo nooo you not get credit here you go write bad review. I know a dog can smell its own shit but seriously the food was not even fit for a dumpster. It was not about the money as what would you expect from a dumpster hole in the wall. If I had to choose between a toilet in a train station or the food here I would pick the train station toilet. The funny part about it is she instantly forgot how to speak English when asked for a refund or to make the meal over, I heard her say to the man in the back in Chinese that this person lie and say food no good that pork is all fat and I am stupid. Hellllllllllllo I am from China I speak the language. So with that being said the dumpster which honestly fails at both food and respect could not hold a candle to a dumpster. The only good thing about the place was it had a door so we could leave. I would offer them some extra money to get a better cook and better food supplies if they only had respect for the public. My advertising is free there's is not, word of mouth travel faster than what they can afford to advertise for. Its evident that the profit this place makes doesn't go into the food or help. I know one bad experience doesn't make for a bad review but from my end I could write further more. So as one Chinese man to another my suggestion is follow the proverb "Make happy those who are near, and those who are far will come." but I am sure the food will soon speak for itself and the place will fall victim to its own lack of care. read more

I wish I read the reviews. The worst Chinese ever. They said it was NY Style and I really expected Chinese like back home...I guess I'll go back to NY for Chinese. I had the lemon chicken and rice. The chicken fillet was 1/4" think overcooked and too greasy. This was completely inedible and after sitting over night the pieces were petrified as hard as bricks. This is the cheapest and laziest place i've ever seen. First they serve you spring roll wrappers with your moo shu pork instead of making fresh mandarin pancakes. Then they pass off frozen steamed dumplings as well. And the hot and sour soup? No day lilies, no wood ear or shitaki mushrooms, just button instead, no bamboo shoots eather. And who puts carrot and celery in their soup? Apparently they do. The chop suey isn't very good. The moo shu pork wasn't bad, but mostly cabbage and not so much pork.
