    Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf
    Renee D.

I found Dim Sum House on TikTok and came in excited, but I'll be honest...I was disappointed with the Char Siu. I grew up going to dim sum, so I know exactly what it's supposed to look and taste like. This version felt like regular BBQ pork with honey poured on top, which just wasn't it. That was a letdown. That said, everything else we ordered was delicious. The Chinese broccoli was perfectly cooked, the shu mai and har gow were solid, the BBQ pork buns were fluffy and flavorful, and the sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaf was really good. The black truffle dumplings were also a new dish for us and surprisingly delicious. Huge shoutout to our waitress, Naysha, who was amazing. When I told her I didn't like the Char Siu, she immediately took it off the bill without hesitation...great customer service goes a long way. While the Char Siu missed the mark for me, the rest of the food and the service made up for it. I'd definitely come back and just skip that one dish next time.

Super authentic Chinese restaurant with delicious freshly made dim sum dishes. They also have a variety of entrees you can order. I love how this is a true Chinese flavored restaurant vs Americanized Chinese restaurant. Portions are huge, super family friendly. Restaurant is spacious and service is good. They even provided us with free charger to charge our phones. Very happy with my dining experience here!

A must go to for dim sum. Incredible selection of dim sum and an amazing chow fun noodle dish. Excellent service and decent price

This was their Orange Chicken, the breading was more like you would expect on a sweet-and-sour chicken

This is a take out review: The food came hot and delicious. Since this is a takeout review, I don't have any comments on service or ambience. I'm gonna start with the hot and sour soup, which was delicious. I was craving this, but I don't normally get it with seafood tried it in in the future. Probably wouldn't get the seafood but would definitely get the soup again. The salt and pepper tofu was the sleeper hit! This was really delicious. There was a generous amount of toppings, jalapeños, green, onions, and chilies. Definitely recommend this when you're looking at appetizers. The bowl of rice was interesting. I didn't feel like one would be enough and at $1.30 it was a decent deal so we got four and that was more than enough for all the food we had. The barbecue bao steamed buns or for my son and he really enjoyed them, I tried one and they were good. Mongolian beef was delicious, I thought it would be spicier. The heat level wasn't very high that you can always add extra chili crisp Pan fried dumplings can't go wrong with that super good. Charcoal egg yolk bao buns were not bad but I've had better. I would try this again live at the restaurant, because normally these buns are really good, but you wanna eat them hot and fresh getting them to go and then eating them at the end of the meal probably didn't do them justice. Overall, this was really solid and I would be willing to go in and sit down for a meal and see how things were in person.

I've visited Dim Sum House several times and even ordered through DoorDash and I've never been disappointed. The food is always fresh, perfectly seasoned, reasonably priced, and the portions are generous. The service is consistently excellent, too. When dining in, they serve meals family-style, which works perfectly given the large portion sizes. Some of our favorites include the house fried rice, pork fried rice, sesame chicken, grilled chicken with broccoli, pan-fried gyoza, soup dumplings, purple red bean buns, grilled chicken mix, and barbecue rice rolls. Honestly, everything we've tried has been delicious. They also offer great dine-in specials Monday through Thursday, such as appetizer day, wine day, beer day, and even a buy-one-get-one fried rice day, definitely worth checking out! If you're in the area and want flavorful, satisfying food at a fair price, I highly recommend visiting Dim Sum House.

We were finally in the area to check this place out and we were definitely not disappointed. We were immediately welcomed in and sat. It was the weekend at lunch time and when we arrived it wasn't very busy but as we sat more and more people came in. Service was phenomenal and the food came out quickly and it was delicious. We love Yummy house so we knew it was going to be amazing. We had to get the salt and pepper shrimp it's a must for us at Yummy House so we know how amazing it is. Everything was perfect. Such a great meal and can't wait to go back.

Stopped here for a lunch on the weekend and it was very good. They didn't have the carts but instead you order off the menu. I do like the carts to help me see the items, but our server was very helpful in answering questions and giving recommendations. Most of the items were really good. I really liked the sauce for the shrimp rice roll. It's been a while since we ate there, but I believe it was the pineapple bun that we weren't a fan of. Also, next time we will order slower, we were full so fast!

I love how spacious and bright it is inside. I've only been on weekdays. The wait for the dim sum to come out is a little long but worth it. Both times I came the dim sum comes out steaming hot. The only thing that was lacking was the portuguese egg tart which really in my opinion looked like a plain egg tart. Try their lunch specials as well, the portions are huge!

Our server was attentive. The restaurant is clean and big with plenty of seating. I HIGHLY recommend the Pineapple Buns! I thought they should have been delivered at the end of the meal as they were sweet and reminded me of a dessert but they were one of the first items that came out to the table! Iced cold brew coffee was delicious and sweet. Pork and Shrimp Shu Mai had more pork than shrimp in them. Shrimp spring rolls had 2 decent size shrimp per roll but the spring roll was a little gummy. Overall a good experience and looking forward to returning.

Stopped by for lunch and tried the har gow, XO fried noodles, Mongolian beef lunch special, and honeycomb tripe. Not many places serve honeycomb tripe, so that was a pleasant surprise--and it was delicious! The Mongolian beef was a bit on the sweet side for our taste, but the portions were perfect for lunch. The XO noodles had great flavor, though the noodles were a little thicker than expected, same for the har gow skin. Overall, the food came out quickly, the service was excellent, and the restaurant itself was super cute.

We went for lunch around noon on a Sunday and we're seated promptly. The restaurant was a little over half full, but service was still very quick. The restaurant is very new looking on the inside and decorated how most modern Chinese restaurants in Orlando are; clean and minimal. You order dim sum off a laminated picture menu with dry erase markers, indicating how many of each item you'd like. The items come out as they're completed, so you get to graze and take your time. We ordered ask the traditional favorites, they definitely seem handmade and not mass produced frozen, unlike what we're starting to see a lot more of nowadays, at that was a refreshing surprise. Servers were very attentive and polite. We will definitely be frequenting this restaurant when we're in the area.

Not sure what to say. The quality of the ingredients are on point and maybe because I never get the actual Dim Sum is why I never really love the food. I like it don't get me wrong, but it's different flavors from what I am used to in other Asian restaurants, so I believe it's just a preference issue for me. The rice to me is the wrong rice. Anybody who eats a lot of Asian cuisine will understand what I mean by that. But people love it. I came when they first opened. We got their wontons which were really good. My daughter felt their sesame chicken is not really a sesame chicken. It's more of a honey chicken with a few sesame seeds on top. The quality was great. She just doesn't overly love honey. A little is fine, of course but the whole thing just pretty much tasted like honey, was drizzled all over it. I got the Mongolian beef and it was good. But because we didn't love it. It took me a long time to come back. Until today. The spring rolls are crispy and delicious, but there really isn't very much vegetables in it. I really wish they could put a little bit more for $8. Mine were pretty hollow today with a few carrots and a piece of veggie here and there. I know it is tiny roll, but I've had these before other places and they usually do have a pretty good amount of vegetables. My meal came with a soup. I chose creamy chicken and corn soup. The flavor was delicious, but I'm not into the slimy soups. I did not realize their version of creamy meant more like an egg drop soup consistency, and not actually like a dairy creamy and the chicken in it reminded me of something that came from a can, but I'm sure it's not. It's probably just boiled chopped up chicken pieces. It just not my bag, but I will say as I did before the flavor was good. My meal was the walnut chicken. Now I've had walnut chicken or shrimp from many places. The sauce on it however, was very thick and not that flavorful. The chicken breading was good, but they had overcooked the chicken so much. It was really dry inside and very chewy. The walnuts were really delicious. I ended up not eating it and my very sweet server noticed and ended up getting it off my bill (of course he offered to remake it, but at that point, I just didn't want it anymore). He however brought me some pineapple buns and they were really delicious and sweet. That was really nice of him. Ricardo was a wonderful server and I tipped him to reflect it not what my bill reflected. All in all, I feel that restaurants are a preference. This does not happen to be one of mine, but that does not mean they're a bad restaurant. The quality is definitely there. The service is definitely there. I recommend you definitely try them out if you haven't because if their flavors are your preference, you're going to love this place. For this reason, I'm giving them a four out of five stars. They don't deserve to have their ratings brought down.

    So good
    Lori L.

Really good. I made reservations and was happy that they were able to accommodate. We ordered a lot on the menu and the service was good. I suggest going for an early lunch before they get busy. Their dim sum was delicious and all their portions were good. The beef chow fun and the fried rice were also nice to have in addition to our dim sum. The bunny specialty dessert was so fun for the kids. My only complaint was I went to use the bathroom and they had NO toilet paper. I went to the host stand to let the girl know and she was literally squatting on the floor on her phone. I told her about the situation and she said "ill let someone know". Why can't you just put the toilet paper in yourself? Pretty lazy and unprofessional.

I had heard great things about it and hadn't gotten the chance to go until recently. This is mostly because they're located in Windermere, which is a bit aways from most of Orlando. It was chosen as the dinner location for a work dinner for Asian American Heritage Month. May might be over, but Asian food is forever. It's in a very cute location with shops around and ample of parking. They had tables set aside for us and they have a full menu as well as the dim sum menu, which you mark how many of an item you want. Family style dining as is most Asian dining. The interior is super nice and it does feel upscale. They have large tables and some smaller ones but it's not a huge restaurant space. This means the meals feel very cozy and intimate. We got the squid ink shrimp dumplings and regular shrimp dumplings. They were both a 9/10. I will say that squid ink anything does not add to the flavor, just the color of the food. Squid ink is slightly more expensive. The shumai was a 9/10. By the way the dumplings were huge and about 4 pieces per order. We tried the curry fish balls, which essentially is fish balls like the ones you get at hot pot cooked in a yellow curry. It was my first time trying this and I thought it was just ok. This was a 5.5/10. Some ordered beef and broccoli for the table and it was delicious. Definitely a large dish to be shared. That was an 8.5/10. We tried their wonton soup which came with noodles and bok chop. This was an 8/10. The fried shrimp balls were excellent and is a 9/10 for me. Normally, I think they are either too savory or oily. However, these ones had great crips and really well balanced flavor. We tried my favorite dim sum dish, which is the rice rolls with shrimp. This was a 6/10 for me. It just wasn't my favorite one that I have had. We also tried the mango custard bun, which was a 8/10. Overall, I would give them a 8/10. It is a little on the more pensive end for dim sum but the atmosphere is nice and service is pretty good. I love dumplings. I could eat dumplings any day, all day. It truly is one of those things I would have as a part of my last meal on Earth.

All I can say, this place simply blew my mind!! I never expected this resto to be this GOOD! Came in around 7:15 pm and there's were a few people waiting and I signed up on their Yelp waitlist kiosk. But I got seated about 5-10 mins upon arrival. So when looked at the menu, they had 3 dishes that were Michelin guide recommendations. The first one is their wonton soup, the pan fried Peking duck buns and the steamed buns with bokchoy and mushrooms. So I was curious and had to order the wonton soup and since I love Peking duck, I ordered the buns. Here's my assessment: 1. Pork and shrimp wonton soup - 15/10 - the soup was pretty neutrally flavored but still good to my liking but oh boy, the wonton was out of this world!! It came with 6 large wontons, some bokchoy, seaweed and the broth. I always ask for chili oil and when I took a bite of the wonton, the sudden burst of deliciousness that I felt in my mouth was indescribable. Then I dipped the wonton in the chili oil and it added another layer of umami flavor. This is prolly my Top 2 wonton soup I've had in my life next to the one I've tried in Hongkong years ago!! Every wonton I ate the more I just want to eat more wontons . It's INCREDIBLE. 2. Pan fried Peking duck buns - 20/10 - this should be a Michelin star dish!! The bun was a little sweet, soft but that first bite felt like all my salivary juices just exploded. This is the BEST BAO BUN I've had in America. The most perfect combination of sweet, savory, salty, with a touch of five spice and a gastronomically out of bounds dish - It's UNBELIEVABLE!! Every customer should not leave this resto until they've tried this one!! Trust me, you may want to eat at least 4 pcs of this. I would have wanted to get 2 more but I was already full. 3. Steamed bokchoy with garlic - 10/10 - love the freshness of the bokchoy, well poached and the garlic was just enough that it was not overpowering yet it was garlicky. I wish we can have Kung Fu Kitchen in CA but I guess FL is more business friendly. They also have their sister flagship resto in NY!! So if ever you come to Disney World or Orlando for a work or business trip, pls do yourself a favor and make sure you put this resto as part of your itinerary!!!

We had the salt and pepper squid appetizer. It was plentiful and great with the accompanying sauce. However, we didn't like the breading. And I dared to bite into one of the peppers that accompanied it and it set my mouth on fire. For dinner we had the Szechuan scallops and the XO fish. The scallops were tasty and the dish had lots of broccoli, peppers, and mushrooms. The sauce was a bit sweeter than we expected. The XO fish sauce was very similar to the Szechuan sauce and though the fish was a tad salty, it was still savory. The asparagus that accompanied that dish was chopped (easier to eat) and there were plenty of sweet snap peas and bell peppers. We adore snow pea tips and were in the mood for lots of veggies. So, we got an order to accompany our meals. We did take home most of it, along with lots of broccoli (for me) from the Szechuan scallops. We were treated to a complimentary Chinese-style dessert made with peeled split mung beans and thickened with tapioca starch into a gooey, translucent pudding that was served warm. Our meal of 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, 1 order of veggies, a pot of tea, tax, and tip was $138.

Everyone is friendly but not overly nice The restaurant vibe is what you would expect from a mom and pop spot...take that as you will. It hasn't stopped me from eating there and the food is always fantastic and fresh. For most visits we get it to go cause we live far away and we always get a bunch and literally get 2 to 3 meals out of it for our family of 4. Here is what we typically... Chicken Lo Mein - nice thin noodles, real chicken, fresh veggies Chicken Fried Rice - lots of egg and chicken and some veggies General Tso's chicken - my 8 year old's favorite - we got no spice Sui Mai - includes pork and shrimp - big and juicy Shrimp and Chive - my wife's favorite - it's just delicious Seafood dumplings - not sure all the seafood but also awesome Pan fried pork potstickers- for my older son cause he has shellfish allergies Appetizer portion of Roast duck - super tender, great flavor, crispy skin Appetizer portion of Pork Belly - it's pork belly...enough said Sesame balls - these are more of a dessert, not overly sweet but a nice finish to the meal Lastly we tried something new...the turnip dumplings which were small squares of turnip paste?? That are fried and tossed in something spicy - these were awesome! Definitely adding into the rotation. Overall this place is awesome and worth a try!!

I was able to learn more about some of the dishes when a friend of mine, who speaks Chinese helped me know what to order. I don't think I would have ever imagined the shrimp ball to be so amazing! The flavor is unique, but truly shrimp and the crispy noodles are crunchy. The steamed red roast pork buns are what you expect, sweet, savoring and delicious. The noodles are called paste and they are filled with which ever you pick. The turnip cakes are so delicious. I had no idea they would be that good. Shrimp dumplings are my favorite. Chicken feet are fun, but they are very fatty. So these were not my favorite. The custard buns are very good and the egg tarts which are not pictured, but sometimes available. The hot tea is so soothing. Make sure to get a hot pot of tea!

They often get mentioned in local periodical awards, so I've been meaning to stop by here for a while now. Finally, I had my opportunity. We arrive right when they open, get seated, and get some nice oolong tea brewing while the ladies with the carts stock up and start tantalizing us with their scrumptious dim sum. Fried shrimp, dumplings, shumai, ribs, buns, and my absolute favorite, sticky rice. It all just came flying one after another after another, and it makes life so much better when you can share these delectable little treats with a table full of people. Eating more of one thing means you don't get to try as many things. That's no good. So we came, we saw, we conquered. Ambiance was the nice, stereotypical American Chinese tranquility. Servers were all very nice. And the dim sum were all pretty much on par quality as the rest of casual places like this around town. Overall, this was a very nice experience. I will plan on coming back.

We ordered the peking duck- waitress brought it out to show us and then took it back to the kitchen saying she forgot the pancakes. Then she took a long time to come back out with the cut up duck and sides. It tasted all right. I enjoyed the soup dumplings. We tried a dim sum dumpling that had shrimp and some other meat (waiter was so quiet I couldn't hear him) and it was okay. We also tried a tofu wrap and a chewy shrimp wrap that was 90% wrap and had 2 mini shrimp in it. We also got the bok choy and it was okay. Very oily. The spicy oil was good. The hot tea was good as well. Bathroom was clean. Service was sporadic and the dim sum carts were not coming around nearly enough for how many people were in the dining room. The food was okay- I think if I came back I would order off the menu instead of dim sum. We were there around 1pm on Sunday. It was relatively busy and there were many people in and out of the dining room.

The restaurant itself had a modern, clean atmosphere, and the interior reminded me of some Asian restaurants I've visited in France. It felt bright, spacious, and inviting. Some of my favorite dishes were the crawfish in Cajun sauce, the sushi rolls, the hibachi, and the cheesy crab dish (I'm not sure of its actual name, but it was delicious!). A special shoutout to our server, Eva (Wawa). She was friendly, attentive, and always made sure our table had everything we needed. Even while taking care of several other tables, she consistently checked in on us and provided excellent service. Overall, Kizuna Buffet offers great value, quality food, a modern atmosphere, and outstanding service. If you're looking for a good buffet in Orlando, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try, and I'd happily come back the next time I'm in town.

The…read morerestaurant itself is spacious and has a nice atmosphere, and the staff was friendly, but the food quality and consistency were hit or miss. The sushi was one of the stronger parts of the buffet. The Volcano Roll and Las Vegas Roll were both highlights and had good flavor. The hibachi station is also a nice addition, but the setup raised some cross-contamination concerns. I noticed guests using the same tongs around the raw chicken and shrimp, and some people placed utensils or items that had touched raw chicken directly onto plates containing noodles and other ready-to-eat ingredients. A more controlled system with clearly separated utensils or staff assistance would make the station feel much safer. As for the buffet, the pepper chicken was very flavorful, and the potatoes with onions were another standout. The crab rangoons tasted great, but they were piled so heavily on top of one another that several became soggy instead of staying crisp. The dumplings were okay, the pork spring rolls were not especially memorable, and the vegetable spring rolls were better. The steak was good during my first trip through the buffet, but the next batch was overcooked and bland, which showed some inconsistency between refills. There were enough decent items to make the meal acceptable, but not enough standout dishes to make us excited to come back. With better temperature and texture control, more consistent batches, and stronger food-safety practices at the hibachi station, the experience could improve significantly.
