The worker was very sweet. Paid for order and left. Small little shop. Still, a large variety of donuts to pick from. 6/22/25 Happy Sunday everyone! Custard filled coconut donut was Really DELICIOUS. Love the coconut flakes mixed with tasty custard filling. Fresh & Flavorful! I'm sure mother will enjoy hers when she gets up to have it! Good service & GREAT custard filled coconut donut. Working in Fresno for a couple weeks and wanted to take a two dozens of donuts into work and noticed this donut joint was just down the street so I stopped by at 7am. They weren't very busy and I was helped immediately by a very nice and kind lady working there. Got two mixed dozens where the nice woman mixed the donuts for me and my work loved the variety! They were amazing fresh donuts and of quality! Paid $34 bucks I think for both dozens so good price as well. If your in the area and want a donut, don't look any further and just stop here. Tried this shop out around 6am so they had been open for a good 30 mins and was a little disappointed in the selection available. No maple or chocolate bars, missing a lot of the usual ones and the lady said they weren't ready. Typically with a donut shop if you go early that's when you get the best options available. Other than that the quality was great on what we got and service was quick. Maybe they were just having a slow morning so I'll be returning to see how it is another day. read more

This is a classic no frills donut shop and I love everything about it. They have abundance of my all time favorite, the glazed old fashioned along with sprinkle donuts, maple bars, and some massive (and delicious!) apple fritters. You can call in your donut order for pickup and choose to customize it or just have them pick a dozen variety for you. Get here early though, we arrived at 8:30am on a Friday and they were almost cleaned out. Bummer. Service is fast and they do offer coffee, but it only comes in one flavor... black. So get your cake donut, a black coffee, and the newspaper because your morning is now booked. read more

Put this place on your radar!! I was treated by a co-worker to a box of donuts, and these did NOT disappoint! You can tell the employees take pride in their work because the donuts are made beautifully and taste just as good. The donuts are perfectly crunchy and fried where they should be and soft and cakey where they should. This is a "TOP 10" donut house. What I love this donut shop the most is they actually open at 5:30! There are so many donut shops that don't open as shown. My workplace was doing breakfast potluck and I wanted to bring a dozen donuts. This place was the fourth donut shop I went to that actually opened and it saved my day! The service was friendly. Great little family-owned spot to grab a few donuts when the craving kicks in on a weekend morning! I've been here a handful of times and always found the donuts fresh, light and tasty. When in doubt go for the classic dusted! They also have great (in value and stature) maple bars and lots of little specialty style donuts. There's a minimum card charge of $5. I never have cash so usually come for one donut and end up loading up instead. I like that they use the classic pink boxes. Every time I get her donuts I go to a grocery store, well VONS didn't have any donuts, it was 8:25 (not too early for the bakery not to be open, not too late to have missed ALLof the donuts...) AND they didn't have any cream puffs. So, then I go next door to Fresno Bagel, apparently Fresno Bagel only takes cash. UGH! Seriously?! I like getting a caramel long donut with custard filled inside. They will sometimes fill it with custard if wanting it, if not already there. The donuts run out fast at this place. They're usually closed before 10am and definitely by noon, because they close once they run out of doughnuts. I have to get here early in the morning for the best selection. They accept cash only. It's not a trip to Fresno without a visit to Golden Donuts. Possibly the fluffiest donuts ever.

I first tasted Golden Donuts when they were brought in to my work. I try to avoid eating donuts as they tend to be greasy and I usually end up with a tummy ache. But, since it was my boss who brought them in I felt obligated. In my eyes, the chocolate iced Old Fashioned is king. This was hands down the best one I have ever had! The chocolate frosting was actually really chocolatey (unlike our old stand by- Judys). And the cake was perfection! I give this donut a 10 out of 5 stars! Why am I taking away a star? I decided to pay them a visit after raving to my family about these donuts. I went just before 12 on a Friday and they were sold out and closed. I was dissappointed but thought that might be a good sign of the place's popularity. Made it a point to go before 7 the next morning. I found their selection to be slightly lacking. They had most of the basic donuts but 2 big disappointments... no crullers (#2 in my eyes) and no jelly filled (my kid's favorites). So, we will be back but won't make the trip often due to the lack of variety. read more

I was in the area and craved a freshly baked cinnamon roll when I spotted this place. I got three items on my visit. A chocolate bar, a glazed twist and a cinnamon roll. The woman who helped me was pleasant but didn't say much. I paid cash so I didn't encounter any minimum purchase problems. The chocolate bar was good. The outside a nice golden color with the interior still nice and moist, bordering on doughy. There was a generous portion of chocolate icing on top the would fracture and reveal more oozy icing inside. The glazed twist also exhibited the same golden exterior and moist inside. The icing on this twist was not as heavy as the chocolate bar and only gave a hint of inching. In my opinion just slightly more would have been better. I got too full to make it to the cinnamon roll. Best donuts in town! Their maple bars and chocolate bars are the fluffiest and the best we've ever had. Their apple fritters are to die for. Anytime my kids have birthdays at school they always want to take donuts from here instead of cupcakes. This family that owns this bakery is amazing, they are so accommodating that I can call the day ahead and order six dozen donuts and they will have them ready for me the next day. I never ever have had a bad doughnut, a greasy donut, a donut that leaves a film on the roof of my mouth from Golden donuts. If you want a great donut you need to come here. If you need donuts for your school functions, your office functions, or anything else... you should get them from here. I've had donuts from a lot of places and in a lot of towns and a lot of them claimed to be the best but this family really does have the best and not only do they have the best donuts they're friendly, and in a day like today friendliness matters. Supporting our local mom-and-pop family run restaurants, bakeries, doughnut shops. Yeah this is the place you want to go. My son was so happy that he was able to take 30 donuts to school for his class to celebrate his birthday and that they came from here. I only wish they had bear claw donuts more often. I've always gone before 8 AM and the selection has always been good and the donuts fresh. I love these donuts! I haven't been to many donut shops in Fresno/Clovis but I've tried 4 others and this is my favorite so far. They are light and fluffy and not greasy heavy. My favorite are the cake donuts and then the blueberry twist. Oh and my parents liked the cinnamon roll. Overall great donuts and friendly service! read more

They have been here and same wonderful family from about 20 years ago. Go early for the best selection and best service. They will close when they sell out which is between 12-2 pm. I go between 6-7am and go home with warm, soft fluffy donuts which my kids devour on Sunday mornings. The donuts are okay, the apple fritters are better at Judy's Donuts. Also, They have a minimum $8 debit/card and it is posted by the register not at the door. My issue with this is not everyone carries cash all the time and I don't want to spend $8 when I only want $4 worth of donuts. Wish I would have just walked out now, the donuts were not worth $8.
