We were shopping in the area and wanted Chinese food. The place we went on our last visit was closed on Tuesdays so we turned to Yelp to find another one to satisfy our craving. We landed on Golden Dragon. Although it's tucked in the back corner of a shopping center, there is plenty of Parking. The guy who took our order was nice. He even let us know that by spending an extra $2, we could get a free 2-Liter of soda/tea. Since we were going to buy drinks anyway, it worked out. I got my chicken and broccoli steamed with fried rice and an egg roll. My food was good and the rice was very flavorful. Portion size was decent as well; I only ate about 1/2 and needed a to-go container. It was a solid option for Chinese. I'd eat there again! read more

Spent $52 and had coupon for deee general tso chicken of you spent more than $50. They refused to honor the coupon becaise I ordered online and went to pick up and showed the coupon. That was supposed to be somebody's dinner but I refused to spend any more money here since they were so rude. He said I could get a soda from the refrigerator for free. I got the soda and also got an iced tea that I had ordered and ALREADY PAID FOR but they did not have in my bag (which has happened before). The so called manager starts SHOUTING at me and ran out from behind the counter saying no iced tea! At which point I told him I paid for it and he was trying to rip me off further. I will never go here again - constantly trying to short people in their order and extremely rude. Not to mention the filthy kitchen and the 2 cockroaches running around the kitchen as well. Got the Singapore noodles which were average, nothing special. Noodles were mass produced but well cooked. Vegetable and other additions were a little on the light side compared to the volume of noodles, but acceptable for a take out fast food place. However, the fried rice was terrible. The grains were soggy, light on the char siu, and the flavor was a bit "off". Can't really describe the flavor better since once the mouth feel was bad and the flavor poor it went in the trash. I have to admit I never had much of a reason to go to the Eden Square strip mall, where Golden Dragon is located. Now that Lowe's is gone, I have even less of a reason to be here. But Golden Dragon was one of the last Chinese takeouts that I hadn't tried, so I had to do it. One thing we noticed is this place doesn't get much business either. On a Friday evening, we were the only customers that whole time. Perhaps it's the result of a major anchor tenant like Lowe's leaving. Service was pretty good and reasonably fast. However, one wouldn't expect to wait too long anyway if there were no other customers. The food, however, left something to be desired. The fried rice wasn't the best. It was only a shade better than the horrid yellow rice at some other takeout places. The egg rolls weren't fresh. They were oily and hard, as though they had been kept overnight and refried. On the plus side, the sesame chicken was just fine. However, I'd look elsewhere for better egg foo young. read more

I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed with this little establishment tucked away in the corner of shopping center. The food was fresh prepared, very tasty, and reasonably priced. In addition, the service was excellent. The young lady that took my order was quite pleasant, and the rest of the staff were well groomed, and had smiles on their faces. Tonight I ordered the following: Wanton soup Fried dumplings Broccoli beef Chicken with orange flavor Roast pork lo mein The chicken with orange flavor was fantastic. Made with very nice orange peel which brought a nice fresh tang to the dish. Speaking of fantastic, the roast pork lo mein was out of this world. I was very impressed with everything that I ordered, but these two stood out as simply unexpected. So good, and so yummy. This is my favorite Chinese food take out in this area. Food is always on point and the employees are always friendly. Prices are reasonable. They have a small area to eat there but most of the business is take out. Their menu has coupons, which they honor all the time. Haven't had a bad meal ever from here in the past 17 years. read more

For the most part, we eat Chinese food at least once a month. This is the only place we've tried since we've moved to Bear. It's close and the food is delicious, especially the won ton soup. The girl that works there is great and always is pleasant. They give you a free soda if you order over a certain amount. There's room to sit in and eat at their tables and chairs in the dining area. It seems to be more like a take out than a restaurant atmosphere to me. We've never eaten in the dining room. Food is done super fast and the place seems clean. They cook it in front of you. They do take special orders like no vegetables or no sauce but on the downside, they don't deliver. We will continue to frequent this establishment. read more

The food was good, however that was the only place I used my credit card and the following morning I had charges pending from San Francisco. I called them and they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about and asked for my card number so they could look into it! As if I would give them that number.
