Overall: 3.7/5 rounded up. Interior: VERY clean, which is unusual for a Chinese place. Open kitchen for the most part, the kitchen back is pretty clean and tidy as well. Service: prompt and fast. Food: ordered my usual general tso, hot and sour soup combo. Hot and sour soup: Heavy on the msg, overly sweet without enough tang. Not too salty, would likely not order again. General tsos: They use dark meat, which is a plus. However, much of the pieces is mostly breading, which would be a down side had it not been for its crunchiness. Sauce was on point, slightly spicy. Good typical Chinese takeout. Nothing special, but the food was good. I asked for extra spicy and they actually made it more spicy than other takeout places, but I would have preferred it to be more spicy. I'd still prefer Asian House (off 13) for Chinese food. read more

Best Chinese food in Delaware- for flavor snd freshness. The beef is very good, but they must cut back on too many onions and pepper, and way too little beef in their dishes i their beef dishes. Like 5-7 pieces of meat in a big bowl of onions, is not enough. Do better, your food tastes delicious! read more

Food was delicious just forever to get. Usually they're running a lot faster than they were last night but it was definitely a busy night for them. I got the sweet and sour chicken combination with pork fried rice and an egg roll. My mom got the tai chi chicken and vegetable lo mein. Food was delicious and I appreciate the little kind of air lock delivery system for the food ( put it in the box, close their side, you open you side and remove your food) but I was really bummed they forgot to include my sweet and sour sauce and my egg roll meaning I had to return to the restaurant after getting home and discovering this making my long wait even longer. Initially, I didnt really care for the Chinese food's appearance but I gave it a try. It was good once I tried it but it wasn't the absolute best I've ever had. I've had better from other locations. My family and I became residents of DE, in the summer of 2019. I'm a Jersey native, and very particular about my Chinese food. By far China One is at the top of my Delaware Chinese restaurant list. For me, it starts with the customer service. The personnel are always kind; the establishment is always clean; and, the food is always on point. I have never encountered hair or pest (i.e., roaches) in any of the meals my family and I have ordered. I appreciate that the fried rice is yellow, and not white rice drowned in soy sauce. In addition to the portion sizes being fair, the prices are reasonable; and, the flavor as well as presentation is always quality. Of course this is American-Chinese cuisine; but, it is good to know the places to check out and those you should skip. Put China One on the "Yes List"!!! read more
