The massage I got here was... adequate. The whole experience was clinical, not the comforting, calming experience I prefer when getting a massage, and a couple things mean I won't go back. 1. I made an appointment and when I arrived there was nobody up front. I considered ringing the bell, but thought that would be intrusive to anyone already getting a massage so thought I'd wait for a minute to see if someone would come greet me. Another person came in right after me and he did the same. After a couple minutes, someone finally checked on the front - turns out there weren't any clients getting massages, the ladies just weren't up front. Vaguely annoying but no big deal, really. 2. The music in my room couldn't hide the fact that, yes, there is a noisy kids gym sharing a wall with this place. I read that in another review so... ok, not their fault. 3. The "went to a chiropractor for a massage for medical reasons" nature of the massage itself. 4. And this was the clincher. When my massage was over, the lady mumbled something to that affect, which I picked up on when she left and didn't come back. But she left the door to my room open. Umm, naked on the massage table here, needing to get up and get dressed, in the first room closest to the front waiting area, having to wrap the sheet around me to waddle to the door and shut it. I have enjoyed the Golden Dragon Foot Spa for 3+ years and have brought many friends and family along to enjoy this amazing experience! They do a very good job and can almost always accommodate on short notice! The only down side is the noisy kids gym next door, recent price increase (jumped more than 20%!) and when the therapist answers the phone during your session...would be nice if they let it go to voicemail or got someone to answer the phones. Other than that, very relaxxing Update: tried Golden Dragon again, increasing dis-appointment with the amount of time cut out of the "hour" massage to answer phone, dump water, and who know we what else, ending 5 minutes early, and then snotty attitude of $5 tip instead of demand for $10/$15$20 tip as they aggressively push for. Before price increase and decrease in quality I ALWAYS tipped 20-30%!!Won't go back. Time to find a new place! read more

I had a 90 minute message. It was great. When I go to get a message I want a deep massage, I'm not there for relaxing. After a 15 mile hike with weights the day before on my St. Helens I was in rough shape. She really did the job. I could feel the soreness leave my muscles. I was incredibly tense. Awesome foot and leg massage and that was it. Walked in to 2 guys in a couple chairs.. One ended up doing my massage and the other was snoring away... Which I got to listen to for at least 35min. The Vibe was no where near relaxing and if I wanted to hear alot of conversations (especially other languages) for a hour.. I would have gotten my nails done or ethnic food. Also, why the hell would an employer need to walk in while a paid customer is getting a massage done? And why would the massage guy need to converse while massaging me. I was very uncomfortable when he had me turn over to massage my back and used his elbow on my butt. The worst attempt for a back massage. He literally rubbed his forearm up and down my back like someone who knew nothing about massage. To add.. I got to stare at a dusty ass pillow on the floor. I will not go back. I should have stopped when he told me to turn over. The lady there even told me I could have said only foot and arms.. Was looking for a place to get a massage asap possibly a full body massage but mainly was focused on my back (due to my injury) and so this was the first place I found and called, which was on my way home. Lady said she could take me in now ( Saturday 3ish) I was surprised I thought they would be busy or I'd have to make an appointment. Nope, went in got myself a 1 hour full body massage at a fairly good price, I was a little cold in the beginning but she offered to get some extra blankets and turn up the heater which I thought was pretty neat of her to do. Then when we were done one of the ladies followed us out and hovered over us while we paid. I've gotten quite a few massages here before. It's about $35 for an hour which is better then almost anywhere else. You come in and they help you almost immediately and seat you on a super comfy recliner. Then they prepare a small tub filled with hot water and herbs and such. While your feet soak, they massage your head, hair, face, arms and neck. After 10-15 minutes, they dry your feet and start to massage them. Not a single spot is missed, every single pressure point is addressed. After about 20-25 minutes on your feet and legs, you flip over and they massage your back, butt, neck and legs for the remaining time. There is a bit of a language barrier, but you can easily make yourself understood with simple more pressure, less, etc. I have gotten massages from Iris and Betty, both are great. If you're a female, I recommend wearing gym/yoga shorts and a strapless tank. read more

I expected a foot and hand massage as advertised and my mother in law and I saw the price for an hour ($35) and thought "why not?" It was a birthday present and I chose the place so I was worried about my mom shelling out any amount of money and not being satisfied (not picky, just knows what she wants :) ) Turns out it's a whole body massage with a nice emphasis on feet (which a lot of masseuses don't give enough attention to) and it was impressive! When we got there we had reserved the double room so we could have a side by side massage. They started by putting out feet in a tub of warm water, we asked for pillows for our lower back (thanks to the tip someone wrote below) and soaked our feet while lying down. Then they started massaging our forehead, scalp, ears, neck, shoulders, arms, hands, legs, all the way down to our feet which they took out and gave the best foot massage I've ever had. SHE TOUCHED EVERY SINGLE PART OF MY FOOT FROM THE TOP OF MY TOES TO MY HEEL I thought it was over but then we were asked to turn over, YES PLEASE. Same quality on that side, she used her hands, elbows, whatever to work out knots and kinks and problems I didn't know I even had. It was a mix between a comforting massage and a professional who wants to make blood return to muscles that have been long neglected by spending a bit of time pushing pressure points and massaging them out. It wasn't all pain but when it hurt it hurt so good :) she noticed something in my left arm and spend just a tad longer there and for like an hour after the massage it felt like I was getting circulation there that was missing, it felt looser and stronger. I'm a mom of two boys and a 6 month old girl, I'm nursing and standing all the time and this was heavenly, at any price, but the price is amazing too. Keep this place in business. After reading the reviews I decided to check it out. It was a lovely experience! It's Basically a full body massage while clothed. Not as awkward as it sounds I promise! The place was clean and lit with low lighting. Relaxing quiet environment. Here are my quick tips: wear comfortable clothing, yoga pants, light weight shirt. Jeans and dresses/skirts aren't ideal. If you have low back issues ask for a pillow to place under your back because you'll be laying on your back with your feet soaking for the first 1/2 of the service. Remove any necklaces your shoulders/neck do get a get massage. Keep in mind this isn't your "typical" massage place. If you have any serious issues, I wouldn't necessarily go here unless you feel as though you can clearly communicate those to them. (English isn't their first language) When I need a little quiet time to relax, I'll be back. I was very pleased and will plan better as to not wear jeans and belt. read more

I got a coupon for 10.00 off so I figured why not try the place? I made a telephone appt & immediately there was a language barrier. Having no expectations other than hoping to get my feet worked on. They point you to a dark room that is separated by a curtain. She was constantly being interrupted my the telephone which she answered while trying to massage me. They were talking among themselves non stop & you could hear everything going on in the shop so not too relaxing. They barely touched my feet which disappointed me. There was an error with the charges on my debt card because they couldn't use the machine properly. I just felt the place was not professionally on handling my over charges & was extremely disappointed in the whole experience!!! read more

Such a neat and different experience! It was the most relaxing and best massage I have ever had!!! They advertise as being a foot spa but they massage everything. They don't use your normal massage table either it's like a fully reclined chair so it feels like your laying on a bed. They soak your feet in warm water and play quite relaxing music. I would recommend wearing pants that can be rolled up to your knees and a short sleeve shirt or tank top. Try it out! You won't regret it. This is a terrific place for "foot massage plus." This type of massage may be welcome to someone who is not comfortable with disrobing. All you take off are shoes and socks. I recommend wearing shorts and a tee shirt or similar for the ease of the therapist and your comfort. When you first lie back on the cushy table you may find a bit of pain in the lumbar region as your feet are dangling in a tub of water. I find that back discomfort disappears in moments. Otherwise ask for a back pillow. While your feet are soaking in a hot water and mineral bath, the therapist works on your head, face, shoulders and upper back. She then moves to hands, arms, anterior thighs and legs. Then the feet are given a thorough Asian treatment. After the foot massage, one turns face down. While you are prone, the therapist does pressure point massage on your back and buttocks. I bring my Kindle to read while she works on my feet. At times I am too relaxed to read. I have received many foot massage treatments in Asian countries where the treatment is only feet and calves and the procedure is two hours. Here in the States the foot massage is a hybrid of feet plus (clothed) body massage, using pressure points with hands and arms. The massage in one's feet is primary but the pressure point massage on the body is great. A 60 minute session is good; 90 is perfect. This is a great place! I come often! read more

Best $36 + Tip I have ever spent in my LIFE! ARE YOUR FEET IN PAIN? I didn't know what to expect coming here and was a little nervous at first. BUT WOW I was blown away. I was thrilled they had me soak my feet first for 15 minutes. After being in flip flops it was relieving to be in the hot water. I had asked for a woman but it didn't sound like one was available. But to my surprise I was greeted by Jenny. She surprised me with her strength. I asked if it was possible to spend more time on my feet than my hands since my feet hurt so bad. She said no problem. I was so happy to have my scalp rubbed because I came in with a headache. It felt amazing. She knew just the right pressure points in the arms and hands. But for my tight hard calves and hurt feet I was in heaven. I have never experienced anything like that deep pressure massage in my life on my shins, calves and feet. She even went up my leg a little bit. On a side note, you don't undress at all, shorts are a plus. And the room has 4 beds with a curtain between 2 of them. Quiet unless one of the guys starts talking to the receptionist really loud for a few minutes. But the massage felt so good I tried to block it out. Hot towel on the knees, legs and feet at the end was amazing and an unexpected delight. I will be back and bring my husband. Hopefully 2-3 times a month and absolutely after our next Home and Garden Show at the Expo center. After being at our booth all day in October we will need thks. This quiet place had been here for four years! How did I not know? I have been going to another reflexology place for years when there was one right in my back yard. This place was very quiet, the massage was good, pressure was good, I didn't expect the rest of my body being massaged when I requested the foot massage. Pretty much exactly what you'd expect from a Chinese foot spa. It's $35 for 60 minute reflexology which is essentially a whole body massage with a focus on the feet. It begins with your feet in hot water while you lay all the way back. They always start with a face massage (however, I always tell them not to touch my face because I'm weird about people rubbing cheap lotion on my face - nobody touches my face but my esthetician! Most of the time they don't actually understand me though, so you have to be persistent unless you want them going right in with the lotion on your face. And I'm sure it's not a lotion that should be rubbed on your face, especially if you have sensitive skin like me...). Then they do a head massage, arms, then take your feet out of the water and do about 10 min on each foot. The foot massage is pretty legit and kinda hurts at times but I deal because I think it's good for it to hurt a little, right? They then have you turn on to your stomach and finish you out with a back massage. The whole experience really depends on the person you get. I've been back several times and haven't had a bad experience but there is a woman that is far better than the others (wish I knew her name). I've had a man a couple times that I can smell cigarettes on which is ultra disgusting when they try to touch your face... but overall it's a solid spot at an affordable cost! I went in to check this business out because I was thinking of giving it as a Christmas gift. I tried the 30 minute foot reflexology. The foot treatment was great--but like another review I read, the foot bath needs to be elevated. I thought he did a great job of hitting all the pressure points and plan to go back for a massage. However! I had left a tip on the couch when I left, but as I was leaving the shop the owner asked me to leave a tip, which I thought was rude. A tip is for excellent service and is a gift. Exactly what I wanted. I left feeling tingly and refreshed. I even fell asleep! I wish they had spent a little more time on my shoulders and neck, so next time I think I'll opt for a different service. They accommodated me and 3 of my buddies on 24 hours notice which was awesome. We all had the 60 minute reflexology massage and we all left smiling and satisfied.
