Since this is the only skating rink option in the Biloxi/D'Iberville area, we were glad the kids had a good time. The music was great and the snack bar is actually fairly priced, which is a rarity these days. While the kids skated, I was able to hang out and shoot some pool. ​The facility is definitely dated. The pool cues have seen better days, and the 8-ball was literally a white ball with an '8' drawn on it in Sharpie. It worked fine, but the place could definitely use some small updates. The bathrooms are beyond nasty. The facility is in very poor condition, torn carpets, cones on the skate floor covering broken or water damaged boards. The staff are curt and rude. We took our whole family 5 kids ages 3 to 14. Security guards walk around telling any kids that are not wearing skates that they have to put on skates or leave. Even though they are standing with a parent playing pool or air hockey. Because one of kids got hurt and took off their skates we had to pull their siblings who were still skating off floor halfway through the session. If I could give this place a 0 star I would , the bathrooms are horrible , the toilets are clogged and there are no locks on the doors , The security guard named Kevin harassed me at the door and almost wouldn't let me inside , then he followed me and my friends around , and told us we had only 10 minutes to go inside the snack bar and eat our food. Tried to book a bday party here a little over a week in advance and of course that was too late. So my son got a group of his friends together and we went together and I just paid for everyone at the window. Now truthfully after reading reviews I was extremely hesitant to even go here, we'd never been before but I was out of last minute ideas and just prayed for the best. I went in a few days before the "party" to check it out and everyone was extremely nice! I'm assuming the guy I spoke with over the phone and then while there may have been the manager/owner. He was very friendly and allowed me to go in and look around to see if I felt it was a good spot. Now fast forward to the day my group went and we received the same great customer from him even with a packed house which is a huge feat. Even in the cafe area the ladies were all smiles and very helpful. The kids (some whom had previously visited) all had a great time! The food: It was fine, nothing special and I'll say the prices were good because I've had food on that level and worse than that from other establishment and had to pay double what they were charging. Basically don't expect spectacular but it's definitely good enough. We'll definitely visit again, most likely during the week. read more

We are not there for their birthday, so don't take away time from us to recognize people we do not even know when they have a bunch of people there specifically for them to celebrate with. If I could give this less than a one star review I would. And normally I usually don't make these kind of Yelp reviews unless I'm extremely bothered. My husband and I are from out of town and recently moved here because we're military. I guess it's our fault for not checking, but there is a dress code and they don't take card. First of all this place is as disgusting and gross, but we gave it a chance because there's not much else to do here. When we were met at the counter the old lady at the desk notified us that there's a dress code. Again we're from out of town and never had heard of rules like these, but I respect the owners wishes as it's their right to enforce them. I began to read them and they are extremely one sided. No straps, no midriff, no short shorts and honestly the list went on. Basically if your a women they expect you to come fully covered from head to toe (in the middle of humid summers ). Now I read in other reviews that this is a Christian owned skating rink which I have no problem with because I'm religious as well. BUT as I was reading the 100+ rules for their dress code the dusty old women literally grabs every one of her employees to come stare at what I'm wearing. (Mind you I'm in a tshirt and leggings, but I do have a bigger bust). Completely and totally embarrassing having all of them stare me up and down like I came in naked or something??? At this point I'm confused as to why they're all gathered staring and the dustier older man legitimately yells and ask me "WHY ARE YOU HIDING BEHIND HIM". Because I was behind my husband still reading their dress code rules. At this point I knew he was Implying I should be ashamed to be wearing what I chose to wore. I understand they have rules and want to enforce them but the way he delivered that message was extremely rude and disrespectful!! There is no cell service in this building. My daughter went with friends, and stepped out to call me to keep me updated. They would not let her back in, even if she paid again. She came home, upset, so I called to see what the deal was. The guy that answered put me on hold for a manager, and I heard him say "f*cking kids" when the phone was set down on the counter. Absolutely terrible place -- this place only gets business because it's the only skating rink around. They don't accept card, and it's strictly a cash only place. Are we not living in 2019? Also, if you're a older sister/brother or an aunt taking a little one to skate, you'll also have to buy a ticket to skate because you're not the parent of the little one. Just go ahead and lie and say you're the parent to save yourself $7. The building also has no reception, so if you're dropping off the little one to skate, there's absolutely no way you're going to be contacting them unless you go in yourself. Also, if the little one has to call or text you, they'll have to exit the building, at which point their ticket is invalidated since there is no re-entering. The rink itself is in disrepair and looks like it hasn't seen renovations in decades. The snack area is poorly maintained, so good luck finding a clean seat to sit in past the hour mark of the skate rink opening. The owner/older lady that was doing the ticketing just emits anger. The guards (lack of a better word) let a lot slide in terms of cussing, bullying, etc, so this isn't exactly the family environment that the establishment advertises. Save yourself the time and the trouble and find the little one better activities to do. :) read more

I do not recommend at all. The old lady at the front desk is very rude. She literally hollered at us because she can't hear and then in a very ugly voice told us that only 1 adult was allowed in and only kids paying to skate. Awfully strange that I have been there several times and brought all 3 of my children in each time even though only 1 of them skates and was never told that. This was the first time my husband who happens to be Mexican decided to go with us, and she didn't want him in there. They will not get my $ anymore. That's not how you run a business. This is 2023. I came here on a very rainy night and it was very musty inside. Large fans and ac were blowing whiched helped a bit. Wood floors are not all smooth but on Wednesday nights its only $3 with rentals! The last few times we have been there it has been terrible. Tonight we were denied admittance by an extremely rude old woman in the ticket booth. I had to fully closed preteens with me. We drove from Long Beach, and because one of the girls long sleeve shirts showed the top of her jeans when the woman made her raise her arms, she told her she would not be allowed in. Again we drove from Long Beach to visit this dying establishment, they now have security at the door and an extremely rude woman. Judging preteen girls by there fully modest outfits. I will never throw another birthday party here. I will never put another dime into this ridiculous establishment. Again, the girls were fully closed and the treatment was as though we were criminals. If there was a zero*I would give that one. These kids are in long pants and long sleeve shirts and denied access because of dress code. Maaaaaan nostalgia is a powerful feeling. I haven't been to a rink in DECADES but this one hasn't changed a bit. Everything about it is reasonable. The food is all junk but hey, that's the way I like it. Sorry to say this was a very unfortunate experince all around. I read the reviews and decided to give them the benfit of the doubt and find out for myself. I have been skating for 17 years and will do anything to keep skating in life...well, almost. The man at the door notified me that I was out of 'dress code' because I was wearing a spaghetti strap rasor back shirt and asked me to out something on. Then he proceeded to tell me I was not allowed to enter without a mask regardless of my medical conditon which prohibits me to do so. The gentleman was as polite as he could be, however when I asked to speak to a manager, he directed at the woman at the counter who was shaking her head "no" and waving her finger at me as if I was unwanted. Needless to say, if they are trying to run a family friendly and Christian establishment, which they claim to be, one thing I did not see or experience was the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. Who welcomed all and said the first thing we should do so others know we are of Him is to LOVE our neighbor. I hope someone who works there see's this review and can help make some changes. I took my 3 kids skating here and one of them didn't know how to skate. She tried very hard but was scared after she was accidentally knocked down. She turned in her skates and wanted to play games instead. We were told that since she didn't have skates on that we had to leave. Mind you I had already paid $28 to get in, another $22 at snack bar and give my kids money to play the games. The owner stood in my face and admitted that he was discriminating against a 9 year old child. Making her keep skates on when she was scared to skate. This man does not need to own a business that caters to kids. If all kids have to have on skates then all the adults should too. I will not ever spend my money there again. read more

The man wouldn't let my daughter get a new slushy even though the one they sold us was rotten, he tried to say it was supposed to taste like that and the kids LOVE it... It was a freaking $1.50 loss to him to just give her a new one and he flat out refused. I hate writing a bad review for any business because it can ruin a business reputation but i must advise everyone how bad their service really is. On 11/19/22 we were discriminated by the old lady at the entrance window. We approached the ticket window and kindly ask for 3 entry tickets for 3 girls ages 10, and suddenly she gave us an attitude out of nowhere for no reason at all and said we are not welcome here. This is a shame because she made us felt like it was because of our skin color ( she couldnt give us a reason why she's refusing our business. Is it because we're not white?). Haven't been here in a hot minute but back when i was a teen this was THE place to be on Friday/Saturday nights. No matter what every kid who had a life to live up to with their friends were here. Sure it's musty, the snack bar is a good 5/10 but shit you asked for old school and this is as old school as it can get. There used to be lined wrapped around this place you'd wait a whole hour just to be seen in here, i love the old vibe and you definitely learned how to skate and skate good here. I would give ZERO stars if that were an option!! This woman is the rudest business owner I have ever encountered! I brought my 13 year old daughter there today for a birthday party. She was wearing a tank top (which she has worn to school before) and the owner treated her like she was some hardened criminal! We walked up to the window to pay for the ticket and the owner proceeded to tell my daughter to turn around. When my daughter turned around, the owner said NOPE and slammed the window shut in our face! The back of the tank top came to the bottom of her shoulder blades. It was NOT revealing at all! I've skated here for years, and I've finally had enough of this place. I can no longer tolerate it. The owners are incredibly rude and disrespectful. Their dress code is absolutely ridiculous. One time I went there I was wearing ripped jeans, and yes they did have a few big rips in them but nothing too terribly major, and a t-shirt. The old lady as the front counter eyed me up and down and then told me I couldn't wear the jeans I had on because it showed skin and also due to the dress code. I felt very uncomfortable as she did this, like was I naked or something? Now I understand that it's a Christian-ran business and I respect that they have a dress code and everything, but it was just crazy. She then yelled to another person, the other owner, whom was a older male. He then screamed in my face when he saw what I was wearing. Me and my sister, whom was with me at the time, were both flabbergasted and taken back by the sudden outburst. Not only that, but towards the end of the session the security guard tried to throw both of us out. He was persistent on trying to get us out the door and physically pushing us out. He was super rude and aggressive. This place had always been really bad, except for when it first opened, but man has this place really gone down hill. I went to Golden Gate as a teenager and along with all 3 of my children. The owners make themselves known and present. Extremely friendly. Staff is great. Always smiling and does whatever possible to make the experience a great one. The place is old and could use some maintenance but that comes with an establishment that has been around for 20+ years. Absolutely horrid experience; not only did my wife and I come here to experience the locally owned businesses of the coast region after moving here, but we were accompanying our friends on their daughters 3rd birthday. In the end, within 15 minutes of us being there, we were asked to leave. Their reason was that we were not skating, even though there were other people not skating either. When we brought up this they told us they were going to call the police, even while I was being calm and collected while talking. In the end the security guard and the owners are very rude and don't care about being fair or even reasonable in how they run a business (they do not accept any plastic which is why we couldn't skate in the beginning) so we will not be returning for any reason. Terrible place to go. This was kinda cool in the late 80's, but not now. Took my five year old to skate for the first time and spent close to 25 for me, my wife and son. Son was scared and wanted to leave after only having his skates on for less than 15 minutes.. They refused a refund. So much for good customer relations. read more
