The soup was awful tasted like hot water not enough ingredients I told the waitress and she said sorry and walked away , I tried to explain but she wouldn't listen . I have eaten here several times. Never have I had a disappointing dish. I have only eaten once in place. We ordered several dishes and did the meal family style. Egg Foo Young- chicken-- the best i have eaten since i was young. The patties are single or 2 serving size. Chicken chow mein- so good Lomein noodles- so good Orange Chicken- so crispy but tender. The best ever-- ever. Beef n broccoli- very good Fried rice- very good Cream cheese wontons- not my thing i like the crap meat with it. Cashew chicken- sooo good Wonton Soup- the best I have ever had since i was younger. I recommend go or order with a large group. All 3 deliveries have been great. Everyone pick an item and share. This is the BEST Chinese food in Hemet/San Jacinto Valley!!! Always fresh, always hot and ready for pick up. Or delivery if you choose for a small fee. We have tried almost every dish and they are all good. I have no complaints except that it's not closer to my house lol but I guess that's good so I don't eat out too much!! read more

Decided on this place for a visit on account of the great reviews! I came in for an early lunch and was greeted and shown to my table quickly. The decor is a little dated and old school however I doubt anyone coming in is expecting cutting edge ambience. I noticed my table was clean and the rest of the restaurant looked tidy as well. They have a large lunch special menu. Specials include soup, salad or egg roll, rice and your main dish. I opted for the Kung pao shrimp. The hot and sour soup had veggies, egg, and tofu. It was ok, but I missed a truly hot or sour flavor. It tasted more like egg drop soup, however it did have the hot and sour color. The egg roll was veggie and really good! Not overly fried and it was large. I expected a tiny little roll. The sweet and sour sauce dip was nothing special but why would it be? My Kung pao shrimp wasn't that great. Veggies and shrimp were cooked well but I felt it lacked flavor. I asked for spicy and it was decidedly mild. I like you can get brown rice and it does not cost you extra. You know how people always say "I wanted to like this place but..." and you think to yourself "Yeah, I think everyone going anywhere they are spending money WANTS to like what good or service they are buying," then pat yourself on the back for being so insightful? You don't? So it is just me. Fine. My point is I now understand. The staff here were warm and the prices were right. I just was underwhelmed by the flavors. Delicious Chinese food with excellent prices and quality. Especially during the Corona craziness . My Favorite items so far are Spicy Garlic Chicken and Orange peel chicken. Unfortunately my service was bad so pictures didn't post but today I went with General Chow Chicken as it seems spicy but not crazy spicy. Prices are about 5.75 for lunch and $10 for dinner stuff. Came here to eat on my birthday and it was absolutly AMAZING. The food was really good and I brought my picky 7 year old son who lives in chicken nuggets so it was nice that they had a chicken and fries kids meal! Great food, excellent service. Thoroughly enjoyed everything tonight. Just what we needed on this freezing night. Really loved the flavors of the Hot spicy crispy beef and Chicken with Szechuan Garlic Sauce. Portions are mostly for a family of 4 in my opinion. I always loved the food there. I ordered a big fried rice and they gave me one soy sauce and wanted me to pay for more per pack. For a huge thing of rice, it should be free. I tried talking to the manager and she ignored me, looked right at me and walked on by and I was being nice too. Sad but for that I'll never go back. read more

We have only ordered delivery from here. 9 out of 10 times the order is missing something. Ive learned when they hand me the receipts to sign, I take the one that has all the food items listed on it so I know if they charged me for it and when I call back I can prove it.... cause they will argue with you. Also they dont package their food well so if you get soup or say the Honey walnut shrimp, it will leak all over by the time you get it. The food is good but the above mentioned is a constant which at this point of ordering from them for a year now Im frustrated enough to take them off my list of places to order from. read more

I've ordered from here 3x - One pick up and two delivery. The first time probably 3 stars. I was excited to return because menu is pretty long. Food was ok. I thought it was odd they charged me for extra soy sauce packets and chili packets after I spend $60. The 2nd time there was a big hassle ordering. Two different staff had to re-enter my order and card info about 4x. I ordered a drink it was not delivered. I ordered tofu with orange peel sauce. It was not good. The tofu was cut in very large chucks. The sauce was just poured on top. It did not seem like any genuine care went into preparing the meal. I tried to eat it but after a few bites gave up. The 3rd and last time I ordered pad Thai. It was horribly sweet. It taste like they added 10x more sweetener than the recipe called for. A complete waste of money. I couldn't eat it at all. Trash. I just moved into the area about 6 months ago. The food here was great didnt take to long to arrive maybe about 35 minutes or so and was hot and fresh. Will definitely order from them again. The food was salty. The staff yells and could be heard from the dining room. The staff is incompetent. One waiter helped out a lot after the first one (Wang) didn't know the menu. Wang was very confused with the menu items so we said the numbers instead but it did not help he has no knowledge of the menu. We ordered soup and Wang asked what size we wanted and we said medium. Our soup never came and the other food did. We wanted our appetizer first so they took it back and served us our soup finally. But they brought us the same food out that was stone cold and the waiter SLAMMED down dishes. The second waiter was responsibly frustrated because he had to take over for Wang. Ordered delivery for mom during her hunger phase for Chinese. They delivered on time and dishes were still hot. Mom said some of the best Chinese food she has had in awhile. Egg flower soup, chicken and vegetables, and chicken fried rice. She said wow! If mama ain't happy then nobody's happy...right! The food is good but the servers were three worst I've ever experienced in life they walk around like zombies with a sour faces. I had to walk up front to get more napkins and such. While eating one came up and tried to take my plate... Clearly I was still eating! Nobody checked to see if the food was ok,? Water glass was empty. I go to register to pay cuz nobody came to clear my plates and they were on their cell phones and they pretended to be doing something. I had a mask on when I came up to the register and they had the audacity to tell me to move to the other side of the table but yet when they were at my table taking my order she was touching my leg that's how close she was! I have never stiffed a waitress and today was the first day I left a zero tip and wrote on the paper worst service ever! Highly disappointed! Ordered mu shu pork and won ton soup to go. The way the staff bagged my food ended up with the sauce from the my shu pork spilling out all over inside of the bag ruining the mu shu shells, not to mention no plum sauce, and no sauce at all cause it was at the bottom of the bag! I tried contacting them continuously, but the manager was never in and the staff said they could do nothing for me! Told me to keep calling back, and when I did she want I'm! I live 30 min away and don't get into town often. When I was finally able to make it back in, the manager, May was in and said that because it had been so long ago she could do nothing for me! I had pictures to show how my order was when I got it home. She then accused me of driving too fast and making a stop as to where my food went flying! I was taken aback! I've been in the customer service industry for over 40 years, managed an Italian restaurant for 8 years and I would Never Ever treat or talk to my customers the way I was treated. Finally in the end cause I made a stink she gave me 20 % off! Very rude! Won't be spending my hard earned money @ the golden ginger restaurant, gladly go elsewhere! read more

It is a shame that the employees here are so rude and greedy. The food here is amazing. However they most a great customer today. I made a order to pick-up, as I always do. When I was preparing to head over to pick it up my dog got loose. I had to spend the next 45 minutes trying to catch him. Once that fiasco was finally over with I was getting in my car and I got a phone call from them, I answered and told them that I would be there in 20 minutes. I pulled out of my driveway and received a message saying that they were going to be contacting the police. I have spent $1000 of dollars there, I have ordered and taken as long if not longer to go pick up the food, and I have put up with their rude ways. However this was the last straw. I cannot believe that they would take it to that level when I literally just told them I would be there in 20 minutes. read more

Ordered a Dinner B with Moogo Gia Pan and Teriayki Chicken. I did notice that prices have increased dramatically . Got the order delivered and the Chicken was 2 thirds Broccoli with a tiny amount of Teriayki Chicken. I called Golden Ginger and told them at the prices they are charging i feel like i was ripped off. She pretty much told me tough sheet that that's the way they serve it now and everyone is getting ripped off. I want to make clear that she told me they are ripping everyone off not just me ! Great food I enjoyed every plate I tried. I tried the chicken plates and some of the beef plates. All of them are great.

Because I am a diabetic I need my food prepared a particular way to keep the carbs down. They nail it every time and I don't have to say it twice. I highly recommend this place.
