We go for lunch here very often. Clean with friendly staff. The food is always fresh and mostly very hot in temperature. Usual Asian food with hibachi section and sushi, small salad and dessert bar. Lunch is very tasty with both mild and spicy options. Also available is fried chicken, chicken tenders, ribs, salmon/tilapia and other American food. We came here pretty often and usually have little to no issues, so I've never felt the need to make a complaint or post anything negative here or anywhere. The only other complaint we've ever made about this place was about seeing flies on some of the food. Which wasn't a big deal they fixed it and took it right away. Other than that, we've normally had good experiences here. However, tonight's experience was completely different, and I feel like people should be aware of what happened. We waited about 20 minutes for a manager to come speak with us. We also waited probably another 5-10 minutes for us to get our waitresses attention so we could tell her about the food to even speak with the manager. When he finally came over, he seemed like he didn't even want to deal with the situation, even though I was on crutches. He told the waiter to have us come to him. Then we asked him to come over because of me being on crutches. We explained that there were several issues with the food. Almost everything we got was cold and did not seem to be kept at a safe or appropriate temperature. The meat was very chewy and hard, the macaroni and cheese tasted stale like it had been sitting out for hours, the pizza was hard, and the sushi was warm with very hard rice. On top of that, we found a hair in our daughter's food. After we told the waitress about it, they finally started putting out some fresh food. The service was also disappointing. We waited quite a while just to get a high chair for our daughter while the waitresses were on their phones and talking. They were right across from us at a booth. When we brought our concerns to the manager, instead of trying to resolve the situation, he was rude and had an attitude with us. We asked for a refund because we were barely able to eat anything. Even my five-year-old son said the food was nasty. Instead of acknowledging our concerns, we were told that we shouldn't come back. by the time we started to talk to him we were getting very frustrated as you could see in the video. I normally would never make a post like this, but this was extremely disappointing, especially considering this is one of the buffets here in Moultrie. There were multiple concerns involving the food, cleanliness, service, and what appeared to be food-temperature issues. I honestly feel that a health inspector should come check the establishment to make sure proper food-safety and food-handling standards are being followed. People should be able to feel comfortable bringing their families, especially their children, to eat somewhere without having concerns about the food being fresh, properly handled, and safe. Unfortunately the waitress took our plates before I could get any pictures. We came in expecting to have a good meal like we normally do, and unfortunately, tonight was anything but that. I have been eating at this restaurant for over a year but will not eat their again until they improve their food inspection rating. This tells me the owner does not care about his restaurant or customers. I can only give one star because It won't let me post without one . my family and I have been going to this place once a week for the past three years but today me and my friend was treat very unfairly and was told I had to pay extra for sushi after already paying. every Sunday I go for sushi but sometime I like to get fried rice or noodles; so about a year informed me it would be better to get a whole to go plate because they dont have to-go side boxes which is what I have been doing so today when I done it the front door host who claims he is owner yelled at me it wasn't allowed instead of saying their policy has changed he then told me he rather give me a refund and told me not to return if o don't like it. I've never been more disrespected and embarrassed I will not come here ever again. They have the same options EVERYDAY very limited options on sushi, I only come here because it's close to my home but u rather drive almost a hour away than to be humiliated.
