Take out I don't know why I'm always so surprised that the employees here refuse to ANSWER THE PHONE for to go orders. I have been unable to reach this business to place a to go over more times than I can count. I truly used to love their food. I called again and I magically had one of the employees answer a few minutes ago and they instantly put me on hold. Then when I called back it went straight to voicemail. Although the food in general was tasting fine, the Sesame Chicken did not come with the Sesame. The waitress had to sprinkle it over the plate on the table after we told her. Strange!!! We ordered Potstickers. They never came. The amount of food brought for the lunch was too little for the price. This makes a bad experience. We live in Tifton and it would be nice to have our dining experience to be a good one in the town we live in at least. We were not happy. read more

I was waiting in the restaurant after I placed an order 35 minutes prior because of a misunderstanding when I called my order in via phone. One of the waitresses in the back was much more understanding and helpful than the woman who ran the cash register. I ordered two of the lunch specials, stir fried flat rice noodles with beef. I ordered this as I looked on the lunch specials menu from their website. I walked in and told the woman at the cash register what I ordered. She looked at me and asked if I ordered the flat rice noodle with beef. I said yes, then she said with soup. I said no and told her I ordered the stir fry. She said the pho? I said no. She continued to tell me I ordered pho. Lady, I know what pho is. I didn't order the pho and there isn't even pho on the lunch menu?? There's not a lot of choices for decent Asian food in the area so I would say not bad for the location. However, need some work on customer service. read more

We ordered wonton soup and I had sweet and sour chicken. My husband ordered beef chow mein. The wonton soup had no wontons in it and was completely tasteless as was my chicken. Unusual restaurant for me to rate. I'll start by saying all the food was good and tasty. That's the good part. While standing in the lobby waiting to be seated, I read too many posted notices for my liking. "We don't take these credit cards.....no soup with takeout lunch, .... We're short handed so be patient, and on and on about what they won't do. I just found that strange. Not inviting. Looking around, there were only 2 tables seated. They sat us at a table that wasn't quite clean. Then I noticed that all the tables had dirty dishes on them. Each time someone had to be seated, they took the dishes off one table and put them on a different table. Never actually cleared a table. Just moved dishes around. When our appetizer hit our table I had to call the waitress over and ask for silverware. She said she was working on it. There was no clean silverware. I figured it would take a minute for her to wash some for us, but when our entrees came there was still no silverware available. Never heard of that before. So, they have some issues to work out. Maybe for takeout the experience will be better. read more

So... if u can get over the fact that the restaurant is named after a city in Vietnam but the food selection is mostly Chinese and Thai... and u are greeted by the sweetest young man with a deep Southern drawl... it's all good. Value - We are a family of 4 and our bill ended up being $45 (tip included)... not bad. Grade - B Ambiance - suceeds in taking u "somewhere" (perhaps all over) the orient. Nice enough. Grade - B Service - Ivan was very friendly and polite. Yes Mam... Yes Sir. Didn't have all the answers but found them out. Grade - A (I would give Ivan an A+ but it took awhile for the food to come out - at 2pm with very few customers present) Food - delicious but I do not believe very authentic. I ordered Pad Thai but it tasted rather Chinese (weird but good). My hubbies ordered bun (Vietnamese) but it too was different than bun we've had in other places. It was delicious though. Easy on and off the highway if you're on the road! Super friendly service and huge portions that are shareable! Colorful and nicely presented, tasty enough and filling. We found ourselves puttering around Tifton today and passed by this place. It was lunchtime and we love Asian food, so after a quick Yelp search and a U-turn, we decided to give it a try! We usually order chicken pho but this beef and meatball did not disappoint! It came with a fresh, tasty egg roll and the pho was hot, fresh, and huge! I live in Valdosta, which is about 45 mins away from Tifton, but I will make that drive for Saigon Kitchen's food. It's the closest place for me to get my fix on Vietnamese cuisine favorites and fortunately, they do it right. My accompanying photos are from my latest order and I got the lemongrass tofu with vermicelli. Can y'all look at those photos? Do y'all see all those seasonings?! Each bite is a blast of flavor. Their nuoc mam (fish sauce dipping sauce)? Excellent. It gives just enough of a kick and it isn't watered down for certain palates like other Vietnamese restaurants I've been to. I also got an order of the friend vegetable spring rolls and when you bite into them, you can see the seasoning on the veggies. I'm not able to make it here too often because it is a drive out and I literally wouldn't be driving out that way but to grab their food, but I definitely hope to try more of their dishes. read more

I used to be a huge fan of Saigon but it has gone downhill very fast. They have changed their set up. Instead of ordering at the table, you order at what used to be the hostess stand. You then seat yourself and hope you can find a clean table. Recent times I have been in half the tables have not been cleared off. Now they serve your meal in styrofoam containers. For the price you pay for the food, I am extremely disappointed in this. If we wanted to go containers we would order to go food. Additionally, they charge you $1 for WATER! They could save money and the environment if they would use less styrofoam and go back to the traditional set up of Saigon. The lunch special also no longer comes with soup. Today, the person we placed our order with lost our ticket so we sat there for almost an hour without food. When we finally asked, they said they didn't know what we had ordered... It hurts me to leave Saigon a bad review because it used to be the best Tifton have, but at this rate they will be out of business soon. read more

We had Vday dinner there in 2017. We were promptly greeted and seated. Good ambiance! Steamed Dumplings were good but were not as hot as we like. Maybe sat before being served. I had house Pad Thai and it had a great selection of meats and veggies. Noodles were perfectly done! DW had spicy mixed veggies with Chicken. Her dish was great but found the fried rice to be bland. We finished around 6:15 and service seemed to get more stressed even though the restaurant didn't seem busy. Overall good value and good food. We will try again! read more

I was totally amazed at how great Saigon Kitchen was. Do not let the outside appearance influence you. Saigon Kitchen is clean, clean, clean inside. The staff was super friendly and attentive, but let's talk about the food...we loved it so much we went two nights in a row. I live in the Dallas area and my friend lives in the Austin area, so we weren't sure what to expect. Boy, were we surprised!!! We have loved everything we have eaten so I'll simply list those items: round steak pho, shrimp fried rice, crab rangoons, Saigon soft rolls ( they made mine with chicken at request), fried egg rolls & Thai Chicken Fried rice...ALL incredible! My only complaint is that one my one day off (Sunday) they are only open for lunch from 11-3. I'll get over it but you MUST try this place. read more

Depending on the time of day and what you order is what you will receive. Last time we ordered delivery it took over an hour and didn't receive all of our food. When I called she said she would send out the missing food and it took another hour to receive one side appetizer after everyone had finished dinner. This wasn't the first time our food was miss given- once we ordered beef and got chicken. Once none of our meals we're served with rice- that was ordered. But!
