She was very gentle without any pain or irritation with the eye pads. My only complaint is that the fan wasn't on my lashes long enough so I had some pain and redness later that day that resolved after 24 hours. No loss of lashes the first week. About 3 Lashes came out the second week. The third week I lost a few of my natural lashes but it doesn't seem like much. I'll update once I get them removed. Overall I would recommend reasonable price, quality lashes, on time service. Next time I would inquire about the glue or bring my own fan to make sure it is completely dry

I agree the salon in general is not the "let me get you water, how are you doing" type of place, but if you ask for anything they'll do it. For example, I was feeling cold and Alyssa gave me her own shawl to cover me, which I really appreciated. Maybe some of the stylists are good, but the management isn't great? Often that's to blame - like they don't give their stylists a budget to really take care of their clients, have blankets and water on hand, etc. In any case, the RESULT was GREAT with Alyssa, I've seen her twice now. Her lashes last a really long time - I was shocked. I used to live in San Francisco and saw a stylist who I thought did a great job, but her lashes would fall out after two weeks, and then I would have this inconsistent look where all of a sudden I went from very few lashes to a full set. The lashes Alyssa did still had some remaining at the end of a whole month on vacation, so I was overjoyed. It's not like the full set stayed, but enough remaining that I wasn't embarrassed and still happy with my look. And now that I'm back, an apt every 2-3 weeks means I'll have consistent lashes that don't significantly change every 2 weeks, so I'm happy. :) Alyssa is definitely going to be my regular stylist, the long lasting lashes are so worth it!
