Unfortunately, I can't recommend this salon based on my experience. I asked for a micro French manicure and showed the nail technician reference photos of exactly what I was looking for. Initially, I was given a natural-colored manicure without the French tips I had requested. When I pointed this out, the technician redid them, but the process felt rushed, and I was ultimately disappointed with the finished result. I had my nails done Sunday afternoon, and by Thursday, the polish was already chipping and peeling, as shown in the photo. I'm also not particularly rough with my hands, so I was surprised to see this much wear after only four days. For the amount I paid, I expected both a more polished result and for the manicure to last considerably longer. I understand that not every service will turn out perfectly, but given the cost, quality, and overall experience, I unfortunately would not return or recommend this salon. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this salon. Some of the staff were very rude and unprofessional. I was charged a lot for a service that I wasn't happy with. I asked them to change the color of my nail polish because I didn't like the result. Even though I had already left a tip, they still asked me for another tip after redoing my nails. I don't mind tipping when I receive good service, but I don't think it's appropriate to ask customers for more tips, especially when they are already unhappy with the service. I went in for a dip manicure and my hands just essentially got beat up for an hour. I left bleeding in multiple places, which I tried to mention when it was happening and got ignored. The clear coat just kept getting flung everywhere and I keep finding it caked on my arms and fingers, the dip is way too thick so whoever ends up taking it off is going to have a heck of a time, my fingers and cuticles are incredibly sore and don't even look good, etc. I think the lady who did my nails knew I wasn't thrilled either because she quickly got up and just brought the payment machine to me to pay before I could look more carefully at my nails. I've never had an experience like this before and hate leaving negative reviews but I was just trying to treat myself since it's been a bad month and it just ended up making me more stressed. Especially considering it was $50 that I could've spent better somewhere else. read more

My pedicure was disappointing in that the nail tech was watching the video on the wall screen behind me during the entire treatment. I might as well have been an inanimate object he was working on. As a result, the pedicure, which I had been looking forward to as a special treat, was not relaxing or enjoyable. There was no indication on the nail tech's part of giving a hoot about his work. He worked mechanically and by rote. In fairness, my nails looked okay when I left. So, there's that. It was nothing, however, I couldn't have done easily myself at home and saved the expense. Like most women, when I go for a pedicure, I go for the pampering and relaxing experience, not just to have polish painted on my toes. Within reason, I anticipate a modicum of friendliness and interest from the nail tech. The nail tech did perk up when I was at the counter and it was time to pay (tip time, right?). I came in with my mom about an hour ago to get a gel acrylic fill and she got a regular acrylic fill. Both of our nails were oval. She charged me $17 more than my mother because she cut them to being square and then had to re-file them to being oval, even though they were originally oval?? I ended up paying $47 for a fill in, which I've never been charged such an exuberant price before whilst my mom was only charged $30. My mother and I won't be getting our nails done here again. RT nails on Tanque Verde charges me only $33 for a gel acrylic fill and I would recommend that place over this one any day. read more

My normal place was full so my friend recommended this new place to me - I was not disappointed! Don and Lynn are so sweet and welcoming and did a fantastic job on my pedicure. Don took great care of me. It's obvious he's a perfectionist and really took his time to make sure he did a good job. The massage with my pedi was outstanding - Don hit some really good pressure points and made my feet and legs so relaxed. The place itself is very clean and comfortable and well decorated. They welcome walk ins as well as take appointments. I highly recommend and will definitely be coming back! read more

I have been here for pedicures several times. I have always gotten great service. Lyn is a very personable individual and very capable.

My Mom, my daughter and I scheduled same day pedicures together. We were greeted right away, very friendly staff and they have so many colors to choose from. The pedicures were very relaxing, great leg and foot massage and we didn't feel like we were being rushed. Lynn did my Mom's pedi and she said she was very gentle and thorough. I didn't catch the guy's name who did mine, but he was fantastic too. Our pedis came out great and I would definitely recommend this place. read more

A Friend recommended we check out DJ's Nails location near Home Depot on Oracle. Great service! We called, were able to schedule ahead of time and appointment (they take walk ins also) and found the team to be friendly and welcoming. Chairs were super comfy and our pedicures were fabulous. They have a range of services, including pricing for kids mani/pedis. My Mom uses a walker and they were available and ready to assist if she needed help getting in/out of the chair. Super friendly. The service was mediocre. The technician doing my pedicure did so as if he were in a hurry to be somewhere else. I don't feel as though I got a good pedicure. At the end he just got up and left me with my feet propped up to dry. He didn't come back until I tired of waiting and put my shoes on and stood at the front to pay. I will not be back read more

Okay so I've never written a negative review for anything before but my experience was so bad that i wanted to warn anyone considering this place. I took my mom to get a mani/pedi for Mother's Day on Saturday and it was the worst nail experience I have had since I've been old enough to wear nail polish. They started with pedicures and I watched the guy who was giving the leg/foot massage give all 3 of us massages without changing gloves. He was dipping his hands in our dirty foot water and then moving to the next chair and using the same dirty gloves on each person. I don't care if we're related I don't want my moms dirty foot water all mixed in my lotion on my legs. They cut my nails completely crooked and didn't file anything down. When it was time to paint they never put a base coat in and only did one very thin layer of polish and a light top coat that ended up being very bubbled once dry. Also the pedicure not only does not come with callus removal but that is an EXTRA $7 on top of the pedicure. Not an instant negative but also one of the only places in town that doesn't include it. Then we moved over for the manicure and honestly I should've known how it would go based on our pedicure experience. The girl who painted my nails was truly the worst nail tech I've ever had. She started by cutting my nails without asking me even though I was intending to keep them long (and worked hard on getting them long), she filed most of the nails crooked and didn't fix them when asked, she didn't cut any cuticles or hangnails and then she painted a hair (A HAIR!!) into my nail. I pointed it out and she tried to pull it off and it wouldn't go immediately so instead of taking the polish off and fixing it, she just PAINTED OVER IT. When she was done I had crooked nails that weren't even fully painted, I could see the nail on all edges, yet somehow still had nail polish all over my skin around the nail. I will also say that these were GEL nails and it has been less than a week but all 10 nails have chipped. My brother got regular polish and his were almost completely gone on Monday, only 2 days later. After the horrible experience we were telling people where we went and 3 separate people told us "they did the same thing to me" or "I wish you told me before you went because I would have warned you not to go". Including a random girl I've never met working the Dutch bros drive thru. This was the absolute worst nail experience of my life and I will be warning everyone I know about wasting their time and money here. read more
