The property has three cottages and we stayed in The Haven, which is located at the back of the property literally a stones throw from the river and walking. The owners were fantastic - friendly, informative and accommodating (we stayed an extra night and they did their best to prevent us from moving into another cottage!) The cottage was spotless and very well decorated. The Haven is the most private of the 3 with a little patio at the back for BBQ'ing when the weather is warmer. There is a large spa bath located in the bedroom - perfect for relaxing and warming up. My wife and I were highly impressed and have no hesitation in revisiting. We were fortunate to take advantage of a spring deal which made it extremely worthwhile!

Whilst the site doesn't have a pool, it does have a beautiful creek running through it that allows you to get away from the token annoying child dropping bombs in the pool. The camp ground is located a quick 5 minute walk into town, has a service station at the entrance and has plenty of entertainment for people of all ages. Make sure you book into this camping ground the next time to roll into this neck of the woods - you won't regret it!

The heater worked really well which was a major plus in the middle of a very cold winter. Parking was available directly outside the room and I felt fine leaving my car there. The room was spacious, clean and had an awesome view overlooking the park. Hence the name. The beds were super comfy with plenty of pillows to choose from. The telly was easy to use (sometimes you need to read the instructions to get them going) and most importantly I felt really safe in the room. There was a safety door chain with a sign urging us to use it for our safety. We pre booked which was easy and check out was quick and easy too. The only negative was that there was a bit of noise after 10.30pm from guests upstairs. Not too bad though. The motor in provided a number of extra touches such as sweet biscuits which we had for breakfast, a pa met of coffee for the plunger and a corkscrew. (It is the wine region after all.) I really liked this motor inn and recommend it highly.
