I'm not sure if his name is Henry or harry, and I had difficulty understanding him due to the language barrier, but oh my goodness all of that didn't matter because he worked wonders on my poor feet. Let me preface that I've been here before, and have had many encounters at other establishment, but none lived up to this experience. I came with a friend after a long 12 hour shift, and had noticed that am that my left foot was very sore and the ball of my feet were tender. I was massaging my feet driving because it was so uncomfortable. So when I got off I debated between being good and working out or getting this massage to make me feel better, and boy am I glad I chose the later. For $30 you get an hour foot massage and this includes a 10-15 min head and neck massage, also heavenly. I told my masseuse the problem spot and he put a lot of pressure on it which made me wince but it also felt so good. My friend and I walked out like we were on cloud 9. This establishment is clean, has great masseuse, and for the price and location, it's hard to beat. My only con is that due to the language barrier, communicating can be hard, and sometimes the masseuse likes to talk to each other during the massage and makes it harder for the client to relax. But overall it was a great experience and I can't wait to be back.

For the foot massage they started with a 2 minute foot soak with only water which I found surprising since all other reflexology places I've been to always use soap water. For the massage they use those blue latex gloves so it takes away from the experience which I did not like. Felt very dry despite the lotion being used. I originally had a lady and her pressure was very weak and I think she was doing her best but she was older so not sure she could really give deep pressure. A man arrived about 15 minutes into my massage and they switched out which was great because he had much more pressure. However, did not help because the gloves they use cause a dry feeling. After the foot massage I moved on to the chair and that was HORRIBLE! He did not use gloves with the chair massage but her also did not use lotion so once again a very dry dull experience. Lastly when I went to check out the man told me the machine was down and if I could pay cash. I told him the lady did not tell me that when I checked in. He asked if I could leave them my credit card information on a piece of paper (HECK NO)! That's literally insane to ask someone that and also who is crazy enough to leave credit card information on a paper. Once I told him I was uncomfortable doing that, all of a sudden the machine magically started working. There are many other places so I don't suggest coming and I won't be back. The staff was nice and who knows maybe I just got unlucky that day. Either way I will not be back.

And the way she massages with hot stones? Amazing. I love that she keeps the hot stones and hot towels on the body to aid in muscle relaxation. Her technique cant be replicated. she really spends her time getting into every muscle group. Her timing is perfect. The way she follows the bone and pushes towards/away the bone on the muscle. I mean, I dont know even how to describe it. She is also very warm kind-hearted. Shes like my aunty Ask for Liya. You will not be disappointed. She took her time at the desk working and chatting with me - later talking on a the phone with her brother. Eventually she left to set up the room. My massage began at 11:09. I wasn't concerned at all since I figured she'd just start the full hour from there (since the late start was on her, not me). But to my surprise she ended at 11:57! I feel like 12 minutes is a significant chunk of time. The friend who recommended her to me mentioned that her massage was cut short as well (although not as much). When we finished up she offered me a package deal. As much as I enjoyed my massage, I don't feel comfortable paying $79 each for three massages if she's going to cut them almost a quarter short. I'm willing to pay more for a great massage - but I expect to get what I pay for.

Finally when she added an online schedule, I booked one appointment for my bf. The place was a bit hard to find and more medical office like than spa but neither of us would have cared for a good therapist. After I picked him up an hour later, he said he felt pretty good tho the request to work on legs didn't really register she worked on the back more. (Ok, I know yelp was supposed to be the first person experience, so I am going to focus on the booking part, which I did all of it.) After I booked the second appointment, I got a call from Danna the day of saying she had to cancel due to her heart problem and said I could reschedule. Which I did rather promptly knowing how hard it was to find a slot. By the time the rescheduled appointment came around, I got another call saying the office had a water or electrical problem beyond her control and had to reschedule again. At least compared to Dan A and Krissy K, Danna did let me book beyond the Groupon's expiry date. (Just FYI, Groupon seems to split the deal price with the business.) Going online again, she was booked for solid and calendar only goes until April. Finally I gave up and called Groupon and got my refund.

Like most folks these days - I've been stressed and worried. So I decided to treat myself to a…read moremassage. This place is close to my home and I was in the plaza running errands - so it seemed like a good choice. Unfortunately - I have to give this place 2 stars - and that's actually being kind of generous. When I arrived, an Asian gentleman was actually exiting a suite a few doors down and he was accompanied by two little children. He was carrying what looked like a bucket or a caddy and a drill, so imagine my surprise when I realized he walked in behind me and it turns out he was the receptionist and the masseuse. Some things to know: 1) the receptionist / masseuse is male - there are no female staff members available 2) the receptionist / masseuse speaks little to no English. So communicating your massage needs will be extremely challenging. During much of my massage - I could not understand whether he was saying "Hurt?" or "Hard?" and he could not understand me when I said "that hurts" or "too hard". So when I was trying to tell him he was hurting my coccyx - he actually seemed to think I wanted him to press harder. I finally got him to understand by physically touching his hands and moving them away from the area. But then - he seemed to think I wanted no pressure for the rest of the massage. 3) I know this may be an odd thing to mention - but there is no liquid soap in the restroom. They use bar soap which I have never seen in a business restroom and I thought there was some sort of rule against this for business establishments. 4) Speaking off - when I undressed for the massage, he didn't go wash his hands before. And keep in mind, I'd just seen this man carrying power tools. I'm sure he used the hand sanitizer at the front desk, but I could hear him outside in reception talking to the little children while I was undressing and at no point did he walk down the hall and use the restroom. I knew where it was because I used the restroom before my massage. 5) At first - I could hear the kids in the reception area, talking but once the music came on - it drowned them out. The music was quite a bit louder than you'd typically experience during a massage. I don't know if it was deliberate - to drown out noise from reception and the other suites - but once again - there was no way for me to communicate this to masseuse. The gentleman seemed friendly. And the prices are on par with what you'd expect for this type of place. But the soap thing - coupled with the inability to request a female masseuse and the language barrier issue - means I won't be back.
