We enjoyed a nice afternoon coffee upstairs, surrounded by shelves of books and thoroughly enjoyed taking it all in. We ended up purchasing some postcards, birthday cards, and other local goods made by some awesome Canadian artists. Definitely check this spot out!

I asked for it to be cooked medium rare and it was very tender. It also had enough salt and other spices for flavor. I don't know if it was because I was really enjoying the steak or not, but even the potatoes here tasted better than normal. The kitchen works quickly too; our food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. I also noticed the other tables were getting turned around quickly as well. We will be back next time we drive past Golden.
