I went to this nail salon on July 10th and called for an appointment at 2:15pm. They were able to get my mom and I in for two gel spa pedicures at 3:15pm, and although their website says they close at 4pm there were many customers still getting their nails/toes done after that, they probably just stop accepting customers at 4 or a little before then. After going to two nails salons for gel pedicures before going to Golden Nails, Tosa Nails in Wauwatosa and another salon in Rib Mountain, Golden Nails was the first place to fix my big toe nails which each had a small hump. They do an amazing job at nail repair and all of the employees are extremely kind and hardworking. It is pricier than Tosa Nails and Lux Nails, but absolutely worth it if you can afford it! It was $113 for two gel spa pedicures. read more

It was also very over priced for just a simple french tip and fill. She also fat shamed me in japanese. And my nails look horrible. I'll always come back to this place when I get my nails done. The spa itself it very clean and the staff is friendly and polite. I did accidentally chip a gel nail the day after I got them done but I called and was able to come in right away and they redid the nail free of charge. The manager (and I use this term loosely.) Is the rudest, bias, condescending, unprofessional, prejudice, man I have come across in my life time. Why is he allow to interact with the public in a social setting. You make an appointment and get to your appointment and have to wait for an hour, or they tell you to come back. While I am sitting there for my appointment the (so call manager) is taking walk in. I am not sure if the owner is aware of this man behavior but you have and will lose money because of this person social skills. He leave the person he is working on to go answer the phone and checking out other people in the shop. This guy works at the first station/chair when you walk into the door to the right of you. Ugh. I really don't like writing negative reviews but man! was this a disappointment! On my first (ever) visit (12/17) I wanted a pedicure and asked the price. I was told $30 for the basic and was given a menu. The initial part of the pedicure was excellent - cuticles and dry skin removal. After that, it was all downhill. The foot scrub was non-existent (and that is my favorite part!). The lotion/massage - was a 'little' longer than the scrub but still unbelievably short. At checkout, I was told, "That will be $32." WHAT!? They then pointed to a sign that described the $2 additional charge for Covid stuff. I should have been told that BEFORE I received the service. My pet peeve - not getting full, accurate pricing upfront. I won't be going back - there are too many nail salons to choose from. read more

I spent almost $140 to be serviced for a full set, and a pedicure with my friend. During my service the gentleman proceeds to provide horrible service while doing my pedicure. The toenail on my toe is crooked, my hot towels were left on and cold. When he proceeded to put the lotion on and finish my services he didn't rub it in so I had to wipe it off. I wasted a whole hour on disappointing services. The manager refused to give a discount or offer any correction to the service due to the employees actions. Nina agreed to fix my daughter's nail and Grace (my daughter) sweet talked her into changing her polish color too. Not only did she change her color but she painted a design and applied a gem to each nail. She stayed a half-hour past close and was incredibly sweet. Nina did a beautiful job on my daughter's nails. Other customers were seated and helped before me. I arrived first and had a reservation. I called Golden nails and spa earlier in the day and asked what times they had available for an appointment. They let me know they were free at 3:45 PM and asked for my name and phone number to secure the appointment. I showed up at 3:40 and saw the place was packed. There were three or four girls sitting down waiting in front of me. I picked out my color (which took a while) and then was told to have a seat in one of the chairs. The man told me it would be a 10-15 minute wait at 3:48... which immediately was frustrating because I arranged my Friday afternoon around this appointment. I'm ok waiting 10-15 minutes, I know things happen & that's life! Once I realized that the 4 girls in front of me were JUST being seated, that's when I realized this was going to be much longer than 15 minutes. After 25 minutes of waiting, I decided to get up and leave. I think it's extremely rude to tell someone you have an appointment available at 3:45, and then not be able to get to them until maybe an hour later. It's inconsiderate of peoples time, and extremely rude. I will never be going back to this location unless I have 5-6 hours to kill or it's the last nail salon standing. Unfortunate because I hear they do a decent job. If you have 5-6 hours to spend at the nail salon, give them a try!!! read more
