Hands down worst salon I have ever been to. I asked to get my gel nails soaked off. That seemed to be a task they weren't capable of, the lady brought out pliers and a nail extension to shimmy in between the nail and gel to take it off. I asked for coffin shape but some of my nails came out a little bit more square than I wanted, and both my thumbs are different length. The polish job wasn't the neatest, but it wasn't awful. BE CAREFUL LADIES. POTENTIAL INFECTION PENDING ... The service I got was subpar from the other nail salons that I have been to. You pay the same amount as if you would pay at polished or gloss downtown but you risk infections with the dip powder and instruments in general. I recently got my nails done and when the lady started, she did not cut down my cuticles. She pushed my cuticles away with an instrument that was not wrapped/ sterilized (from what it seemed like since it was taken straight from her drawer). Then she went straight to the drill bits which she drilled down a lot of my nails. After that, she did not ask me to go wash my hands to get the debris off. As she continued, she dipped each finger into the dip powder jar. THE WHOLE JAR! My fingernails has been feeling a bit sensitive for the past two days. I am unsure if it's the sensitivity from all the drilling down of my nails or if an infection is starting but I DO NOT recommend because they are not up to date with their hygiene protocol. It's disgusting thinking about how many infected fingers have been in that dip jar. Truly, someone could have a viral infection (ex: herpetic whitlow caused by herpes virus) or a fungal infection. I will not be going back despite how kind they were just because their hygiene disgusts me. Be careful, ladies! UPDATE: 15 days later, my big thumb nail looked dark underneath so I peeled off the dip and it is confirmed a fungal infection. I knew it! This place needs to do better! Always a good experience here. I have only made an appointment once but they are usually pretty accommodating. They do great pedicures. It's a clean environment. They give you a nail file and buffer for $1 and let you take it home. They do expect you to bring it back every time you visit or they will have you buy it again. When I asked Tracy to come over, the nail tech start yelling in his own language to Tracy. When Tracy came, SHE DIDN'T look at the nails, but said "this is normal. We only use the best product." I came here for a pedicure and while cleaning my cuticles up the nail tech cut me and I was actively bleeding. She then proceeded to put something on the cut to stop the bleeding, which burned and I asked what it was and she ignored my question and said just put your foot in water. Whatever she used to try to stop the bleeding, she got my blood on it and put it back in the drawer-HIGHLY UNSANITARY!!!!Then it came time to paint the my nail my toe was still bleeding at this point and I said I don't want nail polish on the open cut. Then the owner came over and explained "it's ok to polish nail and use acetone to clean up edges and it won't affect the cut". Who wants nail polish and acetone in a FRESHLY OPEN CUT???? I was pretty happy upon arriving; being able to be seated right away, it was timely service upon arrival. That being said, my nails were done with precision and quality. The nail tech even examined them from the back, at another angle, which I thought was thoughtful and showed attention to detail. There was a mix-up with my feet...I was in a conversation w/ the lady next to me having her toes done and there was a loss in translation, which resulted in me temporarily having white toenails. I was a little upset, thinking that I made it clear I wanted my hands to match my feet (even if there was not enough toenail for them to do a French manicured look w/ my toes!). That was taken care of, even though when I offered an apology, it seemed to fall on deaf ears, as thereafter I didn't have any other conversation/words with the nail tech. This will be a "one and done" for me. Tried this place based on the good reviews but was once again, like at other nail salons, inflicted pain due to a technician rushing and not caring about my nails. I was seated promptly, which was nice but I was not given any time to pick a color. I had to try shuffling through the color swatches while he was grinding down the acrylic which was painful. I repeated told him it was hot. Then I picked colors and he began to paint them without shaping or shortening the nail. He didn't even ask what shape I wanted. At that time I asked if he would please shorten the nails and he became annoyed and proceeded to push the drill bit strait onto the end of my nail, VERY HARD AND ROUGH which burned the end of my finger. After the first coat of polish I noticed some huge bubbles/clumps on one of my nails, but instead of fixing it when I showed him, he painted over it causing my nail to appear lopsided and uneven. The shaping of my nails is very crooked but at this point I didn't bother saying anything because he was clearly annoyed. I'm beyond tired of being treated this way when I go to a place for something that I should be enjoying that I'm PAYING for. If anyone has suggestions of a good nail salon please message me. Speaking halfway decent English would also be a helpful commodity. Normally I wouldn't care but it's hard to convey exactly what you want when the person is frustrated because they cannot understand you. After work I had time to spare before my flight, so I needed my nails done because only 4 fingers still had polish on them. I used Yelp to find something close by and this showed up on my phone, so I decided to try it was a little tricky but I found it. Lots of parking which was a plus in my book, walked in no one was waiting (YES!) I was directed to seat #10 and got started on the process. It was pretty busy and I was lucky to get in before the crowd that came in after me, I got a shellac polish removal from the nails that still had polish on them. Manicure and polished, not much conversation which was fine by me :). I wasn't impressed with the manicure she didn't do much other than put the cuticle cream that they normally do on my nails and pretend ( Yes i said pretend ) to remove the cuticle. I've gotten a few manicures and this is the first time there was nothing, no dead skin, nothing. I was surprised because I had dead skin around my nail bed, but being that I was in a hurry I had nothing to say. Why I didn't say anything she was helping my nails look better than when I first walked it lol. 1. Didn't really removed the dead skin 2. Didn't buff the nail 3. Made them round and had to file a lot more to redo the error which then resulted in my nails being shorter (very short) 4. No buffing was done 5. Too much of the clear polish top coat because she had to clip it off after Would I go back no.. if I'm in the situation like Friday and that's the closest one maybe / not really. But then again everyone has preferences when it comes to their nails or who they want doing their nails in a nail shop. Went there for the 1st time on Friday and got a full set! Monday, one nail fell off and by Wednesday another nail fell off! I went in to get them fixed and owner fixed them while telling me it was my fault they fell off! (WHAT???) this has NEVER happened to me before and I've done nails for over 20 years! But I figured since I was already there I'm going to get a pedicure with gel polish! I hate the whole experience! My nails are crooked and my heels need to be scrubbed because they are very dry and she lightly did it after I asked her if she can please do it again she said "they are fine" Tomorrow going to my regular place to get another pedicure! TL,DR: came on a recommendation, can't recommend to anyone else. I want to love this place, I really do. I came to get a dip mani and a pedicure on a recommendation from a friend. I went on a day I knew would be very busy; however, I called ahead and made an appointment. When I arrived, it was bursting at the seams with people. The sign on the door read, "sorry, credit card machine is down." I should have rescheduled and left. My appt was at 4, I walked in at 4:02, and was seated in a pedicure chair at 4:45. The pedicure was great. I had Kelly, who was wonderful. The manicure... not so much. Again, I know it was busy. I was plunked down in a chair, had my nails dipped, and that was it. No lotion, no hand/arm massage, very poor cuticle cutting, and I couldn't even tell you the tech's name. I tried to make conversation and he talked to everyone but me. From Friday to Monday, my toes are chipped in multiple places, the top coat on my thumb has mysteriously vanished, and three of my nails have cracked and are chipping off. On top of that, their "no fee ATM" that I had to use (because the credit card machine was down) charged me a fee. *sigh* I won't be back and cannot recommend. Update: Within 24 hours of leaving this review, three more of my nails cracked and chipped off. read more

A man attended me, the guy glued my fingers on both sides with the glue that glues the nails, the nails were left with cracks without filling with acrylic, he filed the edges of my fingers so much to remove the glue but I couldn't do it, both hands hurt at night my fingers hurt... terrible never to go back there... They want to serve people so fast that they forget to do a perfect job... Just went to get a pedicure yesterday. I usually splurge on one pedicure in the beginning of summer and then have my fiancé do my pedicures for the rest. Haha. All in all; winning. Right?! This place is in the same plaza that Applebee's is in (next to JJ's and Pick N Save). I went on a Friday at around 7pm and they were very busy. I had to wait about 15 minutes to get my pedicure chair. This did not bother me, for I wasn't in a rush. The workers were so nice and continued to apologize for the wait. One of the nicest girls worked on my feet. Very personable and sweet. It was nice since I was by myself. I got the Sea Salt pedicure (pineapple coconut). It smelt so good. It's used to exfoliate your skin/feet. It's $5 more than a regular pedicure. All together the pedicure with Sea Salt rub was $30, not including the tip. I probably wouldn't bother getting the Sea Salt rub every time. Great color selection and they had the purple that I wanted. I was just telling my fiancé that it amazes me how much money people spend on their nails on a regular basis. To me, it's a luxury expense that's not really worth it, but is a nice treat. With that being said, I'd definitely re come t this place. Great customer service and clean. I'll go again. Next summer probably. read more

First of all they were way to ROUGH with cleaning up the nails.I am visiting from California to see family and this has to be the worst nail solan I have ever been to. I don't know if the lady was color blind or whatever but I asked for dark green and white she gave me neon green and blue. So two days before my wedding, I show up to my appt 10 minutes late and they gave her to a walk-in appt cause I was late. My daughter and I began going here a while ago because of the good reviews. It's not like it used to be! We went recently for pedicures and gel polish on our fingers. I showed the nail tech the color I wanted....same color for my toes and same color gel for fingers. She painted my toes and the color looked fine but it's very dark in the pedicure area. We moved to the other area to have our gel nail polish applied. Although the nail tech was rough, she calmed down a little when I told her she was hurting me. When she finished, she was insistent we pay cash. I told her I wanted to pay with credit. She told me there is a cash machine in the back again after I told her I'd use a card.
