Undercarriage wash not working for several days and left soap stain on the back half of the car

I filed a claim for damage to my Lexus as instructed to do so by the manager and of course no one called me back. I had to send in an online inquiry and leave a voicemail. When he called back he said that the damage was there before I went to the car wash. which is just not true. Thankfully I happened to take a picture of my daughter the hour before we left for the car wash that day and my car happened to be in the background of that photo. I am going to file in small claims since they are denying accountability. I used to wash both of my cars there 4 times a week. Never again. This is a terrible company who Denies responsibility when they know their machine caused the damage. What a sad world we live in that you have to sue someone to get them to do the right thing! read more

There online service is really bad. You can sign up, sort of, for there pass, but beyond that it's a crap shoot. You can't manage your account without emailing or calling, and even though you can click on a button that says "manage your pass online" or even google for an online log in you can't actually do anything with this. So everything has to be handled via someone else and there's really no control in your hands. God help you if you have to get a new sticker and you don't know your old number, your screwed into a lengthy process of trying to get a "transfer" at a shop and its a massive pain. read more

This Hadley location car wash scraped the paint and emblems off my vehicle and never reimbursed me for the damage. The manager told me to file a claim with my insurance and that it's out of his jurisdiction when it was the Hadley location car wash that he manages, that damaged my vehicle. They will do anything to avoid accountability. read more

The only thing that was remotely okay...is that the vacuums are free, which, sure, is a small plus in an otherwise terrible setup. But let's be real, that's where anything positive ends. You'd expect a car wash to at least get the basics right, but no, this place is a total ripoff! I'm paying good money, and for what? Nozzles that don't even dispense soap...none of the options have it. It's just plain water coming out, like I'm spraying my car down with a garden hose at home for free.You get more suds out of the setting that's supposed to wash the soap off. As they wave you into the car wash, literally bumper to bumper, a car flies back at you smacking the front of your car. The manager tells you "it's between the two of you, he must have put his car in reverse" No, your equipment spit him out! Literally, bounced him out. this place is a scam, I left there with a filthy car because their car wash sucks... and they are completely dishonest. I like the car wash, especially $5 Tuesdays. And FREE vacuums even if you don't wash your car! Amazing. But this is about superior service. I was using the vacuum and sucked up my expensive hearing aids. Found the manager and he shut down the whole system, and got them out. Saved me huge money. Great guy. read more

I idiotically bought an unlimited pass here to wash my Porsche so I would feel better about driving it in the winter. I wish they had an unlimited touchless pass. I will be cancelling my pass, as my paint is scratched all over, and it seems just a buff and wax isn't doing the trick. It seems like when it's below freezing, ice and rocks and sand and whatnot gets caught in the brushes. My partner had an even worse experience - her new car got its paint chipped down to bare metal all the way down both sides of her roof at the Northampton location and they refused to pay, saying it was clearly not them. Avoid the touch wash in winter unless you don't care about your paint!!! They really should post a warning sign. read more

As I was going into the car wash today it was hard to know when to go into neutral or not. I inches my way through taking my time. The older gentleman operating at the time proceeded to hit the side of my car window hard. I would've been fine with a tap, like his manager said they normally do in this situation but this was not that. I don't like my car being hit when visiting a car wash. This was unprofessional. There should be better indicators of where exactly to go into neutral. And I did not like getting called "BS" on the scratch on my car window by the employee. I am not sure if this was from him so I can't say it was but it was not a fun experience today. read more

The locations in my area have been closed and I'm still being charged for my membership. I'm canceling and getting the money back.

The attendant Ed became irritated when i presented my phone to be sanned with the monthly wash pass i bought. He stated he hates these things and they are a pain in his ass. He then told me that if i wanted a pass i had to purchase from him. When i stated that will not happen as i already paid for this new pass he told me to leave as i was blocking the lane or pay the fee for a wash. I refused and he had me drive through the tunnel on rinse. The company has never responded to my complaint as its obvious they are not a customer focused company. I recommend avoiding this company and going to Balise in Springfield where at least they seem to care about customer service read more

I've been coming here for at least 4yrs I had a white suv, probably wasn't visible as the scratches are now on a darker vehicle and love getting my car wash here but in Jan of this year I purchased a new car dark color and have noticed many many scratches all over my car after getting a wash. I will strictly leave this short and sweet. If you have a newer car DO NOT DO IT. 99% of all golden nozzles rarely clean the actually wash and will leave will whole car covered in scratches, and DEEP ones. Stay far Away if you car about the actually paint of your car. read more

I used to use the Unlimited Wash Pass, but I canceled the plan at the store at the end of June 2018 when I moved out of the area. Today I noticed that Golden Nozzle charged my credit card for July and August. When I tried to call the store or the customer service, they did not pick up the phone, but the recording said that the pass can be canceled online. Given that the in-store cancellation did not give me any written confirmation, I am not sure if the credit company would let me dispute the charge. **Update**: The customer service called backed, and refunded 3 months of charge. If you use Unlimited Wash Pass, make sure to cancel online. read more

There are white spot on my front hood seems like some salt eroded the metal. And the mb signs on my wheels are broken! Seems the heat destroyed them! THIS PLACE HARM YOUR CARS! God forbid, don't use the automated washer that touches your cars. I first wrote a review in 2014 raving this place. Sense then, this winter I had 3 bad experiences all with the automated car wash garage. #1. I was going through the wash and spotted a metal bucket in the middle of the track. My car ran it over and dragged it all the way out. I told them about it and they said that will happen. Who knows what else might happen. #2. Dare I go back...( I had the monthly pass). After going through the automated washer again, I noted huge white marks across my hood. For the majority of it I was able to buff it out. But their were areas where it left scratches. #3. To Top it off, The last time I used the automated washer... the entire place shut down and we were stuck for about a minute waiting, wondering. Brook B. on 3/13/2015 mentioned getting rear ended. I am very sorry. I have also always been fearful of this because I noticed they always jam the cars in as close as possible. I still go for the free powerful vacuums and the 3$ self service power washer station. Staff are generally friendly and willing to change my higher bills. read more

I have a monthly membership here.... 9/10 times I come they are closed. Always a new excuse why. Today it's 35 degrees out and sunny. I've been sitting in the parking lot for half an hour waiting for them to move the cones to reopen. It's 11:30. The staff is in the cubicle. I've watched about 30 cars pull in and leave because they are closed. The other day I came at 600pm after work, they are supposed to be open until 7 but I guess they just close early if they feel like it. read more

This review is strictly for the self serve car was with the coin-op machines. I own a truck so the laser wash and the automated wash are not an option for me. I gave this particular wash 2 stars because this place eats quarters like Kirsti Alley eats cake. I went there last week just to wash my truck, nothing overly dirty. I must have dumped $12 in quarters. You load the machine up with quarters and then you start washing, you can't even get all the way around the vehicle and the warning horn starts blowing that you need to add more. I havn't even started to rinse yet! Then you begin the rinse and the same thing happens. SO you add more. Now, you have added more and don't need THAT many, but if you didn't you would have a half rinsed car. All I can say is there is no real way to tell what you're getting without putting a timer on it, which I plan to do if I ever go back. Oh, and wands (Brush and nozzle) were in need of service as one was kinked and the other leaked. read more

This place is terrible!! If you value your car in the least, steer clear of this place! They put cars WAY too close together, which resulted in me getting rear-ended. They assumed no responsibility whatsoever & said they never have accidents. When we called the Hadley police, they said they are there twice a week!!! Paul the manager is rude & disrespectful. Told us, "Oh well, at least you can still drive your car, right?" What a crock! A whole lot of headaches & money for a few measely feet of difference between cars. I love this place. You can wash your own car, go through the tunnel of love or do the stationary wash. It's great! If I could make a suggestion though, I would like to hear disco music if you go through the tunnel thing. read more

I just bought a brand new car and was excited to buy the wash pass to keep my car clean. After about 4 washes I noticed how scratched the front of my car was and realized that the scratches were from the brushes at this car wash. Now I need to pay to have the scratches removed because FL Roberts has done nothing to try to help. Avoid this car wash at all costs if you care about your cars exterior! The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the staff who work the car wash do a great job. read more

I am very disappointed in the service I received at Golden Nozzle in Hadley, Ma. I purchased a Touch-less Super Wash service however, upon returning home I found my car still covered in bugs, dirt, and water marks. It looked as if the touch-less simply sprayed over my car without actually cleaning. For the $ I spent, that type of result is absolutely ridiculous. read more

Do not pay for your car wash at the pump - it is a scam! I have been getting my vehicles washed at various Golden Nozzle locations around western MA for over 15 years now. The car wash chain is a bit expensive in my opinion but the car wash does a decent job of cleaning the car. My experience tonight will keep me from going here again. I paid for my car wash at the pump as I often do and proceeded to pull up to the line for a wash. (The gas is always more expensive a t a Golden Nozzle station, but the $2 discount you get on the carwash/gas combo makes it almost worth it. ) The attendant informs me that my prepaid carwash is not honored at the regular carwash, but only at the touch free car wash. I drove past 2 touch free car washes and cheaper priced gas stations to get here! So I overpaid for gas and left with a car that was still as dirty as before the carwash. Fooled me once, headed elsewhere from now on! read more
