I hate to say it ,but I visited maybe 3x since 2020 and the value and quality has PLUMMETED. The food does not taste the same and now its $7 Higher than the last post I made. Alot of places went up due to inflation which is fine and dandy however almost $10extra is ridiculous. They dont even fill the plate anymore. They went from 32oz cups to 22oz cups. We've been in multiple times. Always ask for the 2 entree 1 side. My rice has always ended up drenched in sauce even after asking them to drain the sauce. Tonight I told my wife I'd get three entrees and one side with rice in a separate container. Charged her a dollar extra and put all three entrees in one dish with all sauce mixed together essentially creating 1 entree. The staff are very friendly, the food is fresh, hot and tasty, also the portions are large and keep you going with left overs for 2 or even 3 days! This place has really gone down hill. The owners wife actually runs this location or rather makes a feeble attempt at it. She mostly sits in the restaurant taking up a table that could be used by patrons, talking on the phone in a loud and unprofessional manner while tables sit covered in the residue from who ever ate there last. Floors are unswept and the new type of tea dispenser they are using certainly doesnt taste like GA tea! Finally the portions have drastically become smaller. This used to be a mediochre or "ok" place. Someone experienced has come in. Crab Rangoon seems homemade. Huge with lots of filling. Egg rolls are handmade or great quality. I got general tsos chicken. Portion was huge. Flavor was spot on. Chicken was tender. Sauce was tangy and flavorful. My wife got beef pepper steak. Portion was huge. Beef was flavorful and cooked great. Sauce was good. Fried rice was just a hair bland. Also looked like frozen veggies. Fresh veggies and a dash of ginger soy would of gotten 5 stars from me. Its a minor thing but i often judge a place by how it does the simple stuff. Just the carrots and peas seemed frozen. All in all a very good meal at a fair price. Better than average to-go plates, plus they do typical take out orders. The sauces and rice weren't super greasy, nor was the spring roll. This place would be fine if it wasn't for the very suspect meat. The chicken was strange chunky pieces of meat that were spongy and also full of cartilage. This is my last visit here. I know there are few options in the area but I'll rather drive to the mall. First they seem to count the pieces of meat they put on your plate. I got chicken and mushrooms and I think I had 3 to 4 pieces of chicken with a ton of mushrooms. I had to make them remake my plate due to putting the sauce out of the Mongolian beef all over my lo mein. Let me tell you if I want that don't just automatically do it. They charge you a dollar more if you want half rice and half noodles. It's free at the mall. The plates I've gotten here have been very skimpy for the price. They need to do better. read more

The food is sensational (and the portions amazing), the individuals who run the establishment are friendly and most accommodating, and in the past when we've ordered from G.P. we've always had enough leftover for 3-4 lunches or dinners afterward. Order at the counter and there are a few tables and a giant TV. No atmosphere maybe I should have ordered off the menu but the girl behind the counter immediately suggested either the 2 meat plate ($7) or the 3 meat plate ($8) all with food off of the steam table. it was very much like a mall or Airport food court. On the steam table were a number of chicken dishes, 2 beef dishes and no seafood.The only vegetables is saw in any dish was onions. The sauces tasted basically the same: thick and sweet with minimum spice. That being said it did taste good if you like that kind of thing. All came with an order of noodles (called Lo Mein) or fried rice. I did like the noodles; the yellow rice not so much. Portion size was generous and i could not finish the 3 meat plate with noddles in one sitting. It is the only Chinese restaurant with 4 miles. Standard, unexceptional Chinese-American fare. They have a small buffet for quick orders or a large menu which doesn't stray too far from the classic dishes most every restaurant of this type offers. The space is small but well kept, with a few tables and a large television. Service is chaotic, but it's a new restaurant so that should smooth out with time. read more

Some Chinese food places in town seem to use cheaper ingredients and lower quality cuts of meat, but I was really happy with everything here. The steamed shrimp were huge and really tasty. Nothing exceptional but not the worst I've had. Service was decent. I was greeted immediately and offered choices of plates. I went for the 3 meat entree. Unfortunately, I found the choices for to-go orders lacking so I opted for more rice. Too many options that were just swimming in syrupy sauce. If there is one thing I would tell them to do is to vary up the options. I ordered the pepper steak, hot & spicy chicken, fried rice, lo mein, and some eggrolls. The pepper steak was just fine. The chicken was more sweet than anything. I didn't taste any hint of spiciness. The sides were a little bland. As for the eggrolls, I didn't even bother finishing them. The wrapping paper used for them was not something I was used to and the filling left a lot to be desired. I was hoping I could cover up the disappointment with the sweet and sour sauce but I was pretty much over it. In terms of value I'd say if you like this place, it's not bad. The drink they give you with the combo is ridiculously big but I guess you get your money's worth. But honestly I think it's a waste. I get that a lot of the Chinese restaurants in town aren't exactly SUPER authentic but at the same time it just looks like they lean too much in the direction of making really sweet, syrupy, bland, food completely devoid of any spice to cater to the predominately white and southern demographic in this town. It's crazy that my experience with these places leave me wanting for Panda Express but there you have it.
