I'm seriously impressed with a carpet repair job done by Juan. This company has good reviews on other sites, but I started my search on Yelp so it seems like it's best to put my own review here. My dog managed to lock himself in a bedroom for a day and destroyed several sections of carpet and padding (apparently this is a common scenario). The damage was so great that I had trouble finding examples of carpet repair of this magnitude online. I sought quotes for either a repair or a full replacement all of the carpet in the bedroom from multiple companies. After an in-home estimate, Juan from JJ Floor Covering gave me the best price and also expressed the most confidence in the outcome of the repair. Using matching carpet from a closet, the damaged areas of the carpet were replaced and returned to near-perfect condition. If you look closely, you can see see a slight seam from the repair, but no one would notice it unless it was pointed out to them. In my case, it helps that all the carpet in the house is less than a year old, so the carpet in the closet matched well with the carpet in the bedroom. The closet where the carpet came from then itself needed a new carpet. I was on a budget so didn't want to spend a lot on materials. Juan measured the closet for me and I bought my own section of carpet from a home improvement store. The installation there looks fantastic. And finally the service itself was good - Juan was very pleasant to work with and did the job in only a few hours. read more

Juan came to the rescue again and helped me get another new listing ready to be put on the market. As a Realtor, I need to have a list of excellent, professional contractors that can come in and handle these types of carpet repairs in a quick and timely manner. I can text Juan with pictures of my concerns and he replies quickly with an estimate and explains what needs to be done. Well after normal business hours too. On this particular property he stretched 2 large rooms of carpet to remove wrinkles out of the carpet. Then he patched a stain and a small hole that was located in two other rooms. Luckily, the home owner had some left over carpet from when it was originally installed. The owners and I were both thrilled with the level of care that Juan and his team took to do the job. The home owner even scheduled Juan to come back to remove and replace a few cracked ceramic tiles that they also found in the home! I can completely rely on Juan to be honest, fair in his pricing and professional in his manner and work habits. He is my go to flooring contractor. read more

Communication was solely thru text messages only. Cordial and professional thru text however, the quote was more than I expected. My room was for 279.5 sq ft. I understand that more carpet is needed to cover the room. So instead of charging me for the sq ft, I was quoted 312 sqft but got knocked down to 308sqft. Anyways, 279.5sqft should not cost about $1000, imho. read more
