Sale staff SUCKS. Tried to buy a stock Road glide at Golden spike. Sticker on the bike was $26,000 they added $7000 mark up like Market adjustment, gap and other stuff. I miss the days when Roger was this sales manager, I Purchased two bikes from him. The new sales staff Jason Kendell and the sales manager Shawn Clingenpeel are Arrogant and rude just rep offs. If you want a Harley go to sandy Way more friendly engaging salespeople. Salt Lake City is good too, but I prefer Sandy. read more

Wonderful customer service!!! Everyone was so knowledgeable, friendly, dedicated and explained everything in detail for me, they treated me like family and asked lots of questions and really knew exactly what I needed. I really appreciated that. The sale guy came up and asked how i was doing he helped me find the right helmet and had a co worker help as well, they were going through so many helmets trying to help me find the right fit; i was impressed. Once i get my course for my endorsement done I will be looking for a bike and i can't wait to come back and see them. God Bless everyone read more

Very friendly place. I was barely inside when someone pointed me to the fresh coffee and since it was 20 degrees out when I arrived, that was much appreciated. This was my first visit to Golden Spike Harley Davidson. The staff was so nice, no high pressure sales tactics here! Great selection of new and used bikes. Prices seemed reasonable. I was not really in the market to buy just yet. But nice to know all of my options. The real reason for my visit was to participate in the Hogs for Humanity ride to raise funds to help children with disabilities and their families. What a great cause, and a fun day. Even if you don't have a bike, you are welcome to drive whatever you have. The police escort was amazing. A huge thank you to the officers who kept us all together. And many thanks to the people who put this event on, and the sponsors. I will be joining this ride again next year for sure. read more

ho come this dealership and many oth don't give a military discount on products. as far as I can tell Harley has made it's living off of the veterans of this country because we support American made. once in a while one of the employees says they respect their v and slip in a discount, but there is no actual discount. I'm considering going a little further from home to do my shopping if golden spike Harley can't show a little respect to the people that have lined their pockets. read more

I've been visiting this shop for many years. Almost all the same people have been there the entire time. They are a tight bunch who clearly like each other, and their work. They are extremely knowledgeable and experienced... you can completely trust their advice for sure! The service department is what really makes a great motorcycle shop and these folks are the best. They always treat me fairly and treat my bike as it if was their own. They proactively advise ways to improve performance and reliability. I'd like to share my experience with this location. My husband and I reside in Florida but found a private party Harley for sale in Layton Utah. We called to inquire about the rider to rider program. I connected with golden spike Harley and their finance member, Shawn. Shawn was great he answered immediately , asked for bike info, got us approved for financing and we were all set for a Friday meeting. I booked a last minute flight for my husband to go to Utah got him a few nights in a hotel and he couldn't have been more excited for this journey. Until he got to Harley... My husband and the seller were met with a cold greeting and an attitude like they were a bother to them and it seemed like something was wrong. Shawn then asked for the title of the bike to do whatever paperwork they needed and then immediately jumped to--" Sorry we can't do this on a rebuilt title, your wife didn't tell me it was rebuilt. " Herein lies my issue. I sent the Ebay listing to the bike to him via email that included this information. I was never asked one question about the title. Every inch of that bike was covered in the details I sent him and for this person to try and deflect responsibility for his clerical errors or lack of interest in assisting is appalling. Obviously he did look at the listing because he tried to talk me out of getting it saying it was over priced etc. I wasted a thousand dollars in airfare and hotels not to mention our time and other expenses on this trip on a careless mistake that was by no means "my mistake". This person is clearly incapable of doing his job in a professional accurate manner and I highly recommend not shopping there unless you like wasting time and money. read more

Horrible service very unprofessional dean the parts guy ruined my order not once not twice but three times all while rushing and maintaining his rude demeanor took approximately 3 months to finally get all the parts I needed just for a sissybar in parts I was around 400 dollars then I finally get over to service and labor cost me another 350 just to install a sissy bar they forever ruined it for me I will be going to Tucker's speed shop from now on. read more

A lot has changed my biggest complaint is the clothing for the women's department has been greatly reduced, very limited selection, not a lot of choices and not a lot of cute stuff. Nice products, not so nice staff. Walked up to the register to purchase a shirt and a lady with red hair was standing there on her phone and did not even look up at us. Another worker next to her stopped what she was doing on the computer to help us. The red head then proceeds to put her phone down and complain about how she spilled hot chocolate on herself on the way to work. Unacceptable for a person who at the front for customer service. Awesome people, great dealership. On vacation a long way from home, traffic was awful. Were just there near closing time, they helped us find a couple of stores. The turn signal cover came off at a car wash and broke. Needed to leave early in the morning and couldn't make it back to them before they closed. Called to see if they could deliver it to us at our hotel and they sent Austin. What a great guy!!! Brought us two and replaced them both. Thanks for helping us out on the road!!! read more

I purchased a headlight from them for a 1975 250 sx. The bulb works as expected, however they charged me three times for it due to a technical error on their end. They refuse to give me a refund for this money saying that it didn't go through multiple times. My bank however confirms that they received three payments one minute apart for the same price. Golden Spike says their is nothing they can do, the bank is disputing it for me, but all the while I'm not out over 200 dollars. I will never return to this business. And my only suggestion for anyone else going there would be to bring cash. read more
