I met Nicole and explained to her the various discomfort and painful issues I was coping with relative to living with Parkinson's Disease. She mentioned she was not a content expert on PD but she would try her best to help me. We had detailed conversations about my issues and she had knowledgeable anatomical explanations of what she thought might give me relief. I was quite impressed with her knowledge and experience. It is right next to a bar and grill that was pretty loud and the massage therapist did not have any music playing to drown it out or create a spa like atmosphere until 1/3 of the way through the massage. I understand that they can't help the noise that comes from businesses next-door, but not even come back that from the very beginning of the session was offputting. The door was cracked open during the massage , and I didn't like that either and requested for her to shut the door all the way. She walked out of the room two times even though there was another person in the front. I thought it was interesting that no part of the massage included my hands, legs or feet. There was no signage to indicate pricing other than what the woman up front told me verbally through a translator app on her phone. Both the ladies were nice during the entire time I was there. However, I felt as though displace ran itself, like it was a new business and a little bit disorganized, and I didn't like the fact that the masseuse worked on the upper part of my back for a lot of the massage. Ryan conducted a computer assisted exam that helped pinpoint not only the point of pain I was there to treat, but other areas in my body where I was compensating and creating other imbalances. After the exam, he did the first adjustment and I felt so much better. We developed a plan of care together to help me understand the problem and the solutions and with a few more treatments I regained normal range of pain free movement. Both Ryan and Stacy were available to do adjustments at times that fit into my schedule. I was so happy with their care, and they made it clear that my input was important. I brought my 8 year old son in for issues he was having in his neck, and was so impressed with the patience and respect that Ryan showed to my son. A few years ago, I had a serious ankle sprang, and like many I ignored it, to the point the over compensation caused an ITB injury in the opposite leg. Sonya evaluated my leg, and while I was on the table, I felt an involuntary movement of my foot realigning. I was amazed at her ability to identify what needed her touch, and how much. Recently, saw her, and while I was there, I guess all the stess I've been under caused me to do something to my jaw that prevented me from chewing without a tremendous amount of pain.
