I met Nicole and explained to her the various discomfort and painful issues I was coping with relative to living with Parkinson's Disease. She mentioned she was not a content expert on PD but she would try her best to help me. We had detailed conversations about my issues and she had knowledgeable anatomical explanations of what she thought might give me relief. I was quite impressed with her knowledge and experience. Even though it can be hard to get in to see her (she books quite a ways out), that's actually a good sign in my opinion, and she is definitely worth the wait. Svetlana is amazing! Not only is she skilled at finding problem areas, she gently but thoroughly works them out. She listens to what you - and your body - say and leaves you feeling like you are better balanced overall when done. Whether light touch or deep muscular work is what you need, she can handle it. As opposed to many other locations I've been to, thanks to it being her personal business, there are no distracting sounds from clients coming or going from other rooms. The space is calming and she has a variety of oils/lotions/creams to use, depending on your preference. I highly recommend Svetlana and Inner Peace Therapeutic Massage. Ryan conducted a computer assisted exam that helped pinpoint not only the point of pain I was there to treat, but other areas in my body where I was compensating and creating other imbalances. After the exam, he did the first adjustment and I felt so much better. We developed a plan of care together to help me understand the problem and the solutions and with a few more treatments I regained normal range of pain free movement. Both Ryan and Stacy were available to do adjustments at times that fit into my schedule. I was so happy with their care, and they made it clear that my input was important. I brought my 8 year old son in for issues he was having in his neck, and was so impressed with the patience and respect that Ryan showed to my son. Today we had an appointment for each of us to get our hair cut and I LOVE what she did with my hair after giving her a general idea of what I like and asking her to do whatever she thinks is best. She gave really great tips and tricks to maintain my hair with as little effort as possible since I generally invest zero effort into my hair. My husband has gorgeous curly hair and she has twice now done a spectacular cut doing curl by curl. The last cut grew out to look freshly cut even as it grew which blew my mind. Today's appointment took longer than anticipated (I came in and made the appointment during the week and I think they underestimated how much hair my husband has) and she stated after closing to take her time giving him an amazing haircut. also love that she's bilingual since our family is too.
